  1. Of course he was unlucky but thats speedway Leading 2 races that were both stopped is unlucky To then go out and not make the gate in the re runs is poor i will give you that.............
  2. True But as his scores how his best 2 away scores this season were both at Foxhall.....................we need to go after him quickly
  3. He is more than welcome at Foxhall..............loves the place.....hope Louis has his eyes on him sooner rather than later
  4. When you look at the final this year to the final last year there is no comparison 2 sets of teams with a full 1-7 No dodgy illegal use of riders Just the leagues best 2 teams (apart from Wolves) to see who could be champions Both Ipswich and Swindon in my view are the best two promoted sides in the top league..............both get out into the community and involve the community....what a great job Lee Kilby has done The final at both venues had huge crowds and proper atmospheres Credit to both sets of supporters
  5. Hyabbs post which i responded to hardly misleading when i was answering a previous poster
  6. Not what was meant and you know that.....
  7. I think Allen and Heeps have to be retained. You will get the usual gobs on here talking about Cam away in the final but he is dynamite at home and thats all important. I think King will be back but out of the 2 around similar average would rather have Lawson but rather neither. Pretty obvious that neither Harris or Sarj will be back and unlikely that Niels will be either 1. ? 2. Nicholls 5.50 3. Heeps 6.37 4. Allen 5.56 5. Klindt 7.43 6. Covatti 5.27 7. ? Leaves 12.37 for 2 riders Fill in the blanks
  8. 100% correct..........Poole trying to stay relevant.............attention seekers....look at their fans on the final thread lol
  9. 1. Rasmus Jensen (turned Swindon from potential top 4 to league champions) 2. Ellis Perks (he isnt going to be world champion but is 100% trier and every team wants those) 3. Jaimon Lidsey (did very well in his first season and by the end was really flying....heat leader potential) 4. Luke Becker (same as Lidsey a great little rider) 5. Cameron Heeps & Jake Allen (jointly because without either Ipswich wouldnt have made the play offs and both were the big entertainers at home) No snobbery but ive only used riders from the top league as ive not seen the others ride
  10. Well done to your boys.............powerful side and fully deserving champs............thought the ref in both meetings got every decision right apart from one................Jensens flyer last night.......yes Niels moved but that triggered Jensen and he was rolling......but hey like that made any difference lol And it absolutely shows what positive promotion can do both at Swindon and at Ipswich......crowd levels on the up at both clubs............thats what success and good promotion does
  11. Last time you rode at Swindon you lost by 16 points..........the draw you mentioned was when Doyle and Musi were both injured and they had Zach at reserve...........hardly a true reflection of the Swindon team now. You might have done better at Swindon but you would have lost at home and they would have comfortably seen you off on their own track Love how you try and stay relevant through the thread.......your team got beat and beat easily............and if you had made the final Swindon would have thumped you as well You say Ipswich bottled it..............we didnt ............we were huge underdogs in the semi and the final..........yet we turned you over ...........glorious
  12. Perhaps you should stay abroad or at least not bother to post here..........your comments on this thread have at best been laughable but you have trolled your way through it There are decent Poole fans who will be missed on here if you drop down but fingers crossed you dont bother posting....................everyone has mocked you all the way through On to the meeting and the expected outcome Certain people mainly those bitter bitter Poole fans who now seem to think that speedway will collapse without them, having a dig at Ipswich.............well Ipswich have proved clear second best this season (although Wolves can lay a claim to that)............totally outclassed last night with Swindons top 5 being to strong for any side........we were expected to be the seasons cannon fodder and we proved everyone wrong so well done boys........... We have riders like King Lawson and Heeps who are awful at Swindon and so it proved.......... We tried 100% but we just not in Swindons class Would rather have a team that tries that one that gives up like Poole did
  13. Did i say anyone was itching to move up? There will be a team that does be it Sheffield, Somerset, Glasgow or Leicester
  14. In what way will it be poorer i cant work that out? As long as there is 7 teams at least then thats fine..............personally im all for Poole staying up but the league wont be any poorer without them........has it been any poorer because Somerset dropped down?
  15. Your point being................ Im an Ipswich fan and the ref got things right last night............
  16. Its not viable with 6 clubs we know that Why has Ford got to have a ploy with Chapman......there are clubs that will move up Why do some Poole fans think that top flight speedway will cease if they drop down...............
  17. Rather have Holder than Kurtz But would rather have Klindt and Josh and Covatti..at least they try
  18. Not at all ................id love all teams to be like Poole.............that way we would win every semi final we were in against a team who threw in the towel Id like Poole to stay up but its not the end of the world. I can see the Prem running with 7 or 8 teams and that will be just fine
  19. You need to get out more Doyle hurt his ankle, Heeps was rightly excluded (as was Ellis) and Ellis also for once didnt jump just rode very well.....................i dont think your an Ipswich fan somehow
  20. Unlikely...............Ipswich have a good business model and havent been spendthrifts and have a very good sponsor. Just because Poole are not in great financial shape doesnt mean others are in the same boat
  21. Absolutely they both fly at our place, Klindt especially......a rider is always happy with a good home base and Klindts 2 biggest away scores were both at Foxhall............. And couldnt keep them both if they dropped down...............oh and Louis does have ownership and Ipswich will be top flight next season
  22. There are teams looking to move up so it will survive just fine
  23. I dont belive riders like King and Lawson and certainly Harris have ridden above themselves at all Lets not kid ourselves our success was built on a great run of results early on with Cam and Jake at reserve I would keep Cam and Jake.....Cam mainly for the only real entertainment we have seen this season at Foxhall Would love Niels to stay but cant see it I think Danny will always be with us Then fill in the other 3...just as long as neither Bomber or Sarjeant come back If Poole drop down we need to get Klindt and Josh or at least one of them
