Can you then accuse Skidder as spewing guff then please as his opinions on the scoreline are the same as mine..........thanks
-
Yep there probably was , Harris and Iversen and probably Holder and Kurtz to Of course sometimes riders need a race or tow to get set ups right.happens at every level Niels has even said he was looking at exploring different lines in his races
-
Riders like Kurtz and Holder probably were as well as they were obviously struggling with the track.....i never once said 'only' Ipswich riders were. Yours and Shovlars opinions were different completely from each other which is strange as you were both there......i agree with yours which is no surprise because Shovlar spouts crap every time But yes i did watch on TV and you do get maybe to see a lot more especially slow motion replays....i though Josh knocked Iversen off but he didnt once we saw the replay....if i was there at the track i would have moaned about Niels exclusion and i would be wrong............ Me and you are in agreement about last night.....the forum troll, the village idiot and the strange thing that Lisa has become funnily enough have differing views
-
Then surely thats the same for all riders.........Kurtz has had injuries this season as well so why would he or any other rider want to spend the winter in plaster I think you will see a different Niels come the play offs...........why do it on a poorly prepared track, nothing to gain , and with a GP coming up, a GP that is the pinnacle of the GP season and one he has won before. Last night was all about him getting set ups right for next time...
-
Shut up you fool i have eyes same as everyone else
-
Agreed, we really didnt want to win that last night we have more chance against Poole then we do Swindon Its only certain Poole fans who want Swindon lol
-
Niels hasnt ridden at Poole this season and was openly critical of the track last season. He looked fast but didnt put himself in any position where the track could have caught him out. Its a bit daft to think riders will ride within themselves in the play offs............does that mean nobody is giving 100% The track last night was shocking and bordering dangerous.......the match meant nothing .....the Cardiff GP is at the weekend.....3 good reason for Iversen not to put it all on the line That was one of the reasons yes
-
100% agree Cam never been much good at Poole so let him ride at 4
-
It wasnt as easy as the score would suggest correct Perhaps you could tell Mr Shovlar that as he thought it should have been a rout. Some Ipswich riders were definately riding within themselves namely Iversen Pooles reserves did ok last night but our reserves arent that great and i would think Wolves 6/7 would destroy Pooles
-
You were not dominant lol you are so blinkered its untrue And you say that neither Poole or Ipswich will challenge Swindon so why would you rather face them in he semis? Very strange post
-
Lol i guess you was watching a different meeting to everyone else if you thought that was easy...........Both Harris and Iversen carried more speed than Klindt just kept it simple and not over ride on a track that was dangerous. Funny how you use Klindts chain as a reason for the scoreline to be different but not mention Iversen coming of when leading or Heeps being wrongly excluded................doesnt fit your agenda So let me get this straight: 1. You think Swindon will top the table 2. That means you dont believe Poole can win at Kings Lynn 3. Kings Lynn got comfortably beaten by Swindon at home 4. If you dont believe Poole can win at Lynn then basically you are admitting Swindon are a much better side than Poole 5. In your words you should have won by 16 last night and if Holder and Kurtz were on form it would have been a rout 6. Yet you would rather face Swindon then Ipswich!!! You do talk absolute crap
-
Recorded the meeting and watched it back last night Again my opinion is id much rather face Poole then anyone else in the play offs. Most of our boys looked on the pace without over exerting themselves on a track that was borderline dangerous Iversen was quite content in his races to sit in second and just make sure he didnt injure himself by being thrown out of control. I know Hawkins isnt much of a manager but he was quite right in letting the boys have all their rides as chances are we will be going back there............he certainly wouldnt have used Lawson in heat 15 if it was the play off match. Harris looked fast but again was sort of riding within himself , had so much more speed than Klindt but to try and make a move on a track like that would have been crazy. We are told time and again that the Poole track is fine...its clearly not.....speedway is not about riders bouncing around going into the bends and struggling to turn the bike....its about time the club was fined for a track like that an absolute disgrace and i would like to say well done to the Ipswich boys for not over riding and staying safe. No wonder Kurtz and Holder struggle if they have to ride on that garbage every week....Holder admitted as much in his interview. Klindt looks good because he is a gating tart, get out in front and people will be to scared to pass. Klindt was asked if it was a rut that through his chain and his response was 'no i somehow managed to miss them all' Have to laugh at Lisa Colette...........at times you could have a normal discussion but now she has just turned into this weird thing that has trouble communicating, its almost like she has had her account taken over by someone else...she cant honestly believe the tripe she writes these days Happy with the performance from the guys and feel we can keep it close at Poole to around 6 points.............trouble is they ride Foxhall well as its a proper track where the riders like Kurtz and Holder can have a go without risk. It always amazes me how the track is perfect and produces great racing every time the cameras arent there, yet when its on tv its dangerous and boring, though to be fair the Witches werent giving it 100%

You do have a real problem reading posts ..the female Shovlar Based on form we have more chance then Poole against Wolves...........never said we would beat them
-
15th July - Wolves 45-45 Ipswich 25th July - Ipswich 41-37 Wolves Wasnt really early season form when we did beat Wolves over 2 legs............
-
And as an Ipswich fan i would rather face Poole then Wolves or Swindon
-
Would be a good way to do it. All i know is that if my team finished top i would want them to pick the weakest of the other 3.............i want to be in the final As i said there is an argument for Swindon if they finish top to pick Poole as they would be favourites to win that match I cant understand why for the life of me Poole if they come top would choose Swindon.....makes no sense even from a financial point of view.....im struggling to see how one home match (should Poole lose) can be financially better then 2 matches whoever they are against
-
Is that the same Wolves team that we drew 45-45 at recently..and the same Wolves side that thumped you 55-35 (when r/r and Covatti got 12 between them).......and against us Becker was at reserve and against you he was in the main body....oh and we have Niels as well now Is that the same team that we beat twice at home this season Is that the same Wolves side that recently won at Poole (oh yes Covatti and THJ got 3 between them)....................and the same Wolves side that lost at Poole earlier in the season (oh yes Covatti and Worrall got 13 in that match.......) I would think its more likely Poole that would get thumped by Wolves .......dont you
-
Still makes no sense to me Swindon have thumped Ipswich both home and away recently....yet just to get money in they would rather take on their local rivals Im missing something as if it was my team i would want the easiest route to the final Its like getting to the semi finals of the FA Cup with Liverpool (Swindon) Everton (Poole), West Ham (Wolves) and Cardiff (Ipswich) ..............then saying 'ok Everton you get the pick of who you want in the semi finals' ...........'hmm well West Ham would be tough and obviously Cardiff would be the easiest.....but we will go for Liverpool because although we would likely be beat it will be a big crowd'...................same as if Liverpool chose....' although we are favourites we will take our local rivals and hope we still get through' ..... Sorry the whole aspect of choosing a side because of money shows the state the sport is in to me
-
Wrong again Ive commented many times that its daft for either team to pick each other I ask you who would be favourites in a 2 leg affair of Poole v Swindon......im sure you agree it would be Swindon So i can understand in some ways why Swindon might see Poole as a route to the final Please enlighten me why Poole would pick Swindon??? As ive explained it cant be over money...........ive been told Poole will likely get 400 more v Swindon then the other two A semi final crowd of say 1400 vs Swindon over a semi final crowd of say 1000 v Ipswich. Poole lose to Swindon........season over OR....... A semi final crowd of a 1000 v Ipswich............and then a final crowd of 1400 v Swindon or 1000 v Wolves Even my youngest child could work those maths out as to which is the better business sense Oh and ive no idea what crowds Poole get im just using those figures to prove my point
-
Yes i know that and ive also said in this thread it would be madness for either team to pick each other............but more so Poole picking Swindon as Swindon are the better side
-
You beat Swindon 46-44 when R/R and Covatti (at 6) scored 15+4 between them.........you fancy Covatti (at 2) and THJ to replicate that lol You have beat Ipswich twice at home both times without Kurtz....and won twice at Foxhall, the first time with a weakened team Go ahead , pick Swindon, what a daft daft decision.....but hey you might get 300 more through the gate........but no final oops
-
Yep and ive said in response on this thread that if either side didnt pick Ipswich it makes no sense. Please tell me how only having one match (say a semi final Poole v Swindon) is financially better than having a semi final and final (Poole v Ipswich then Poole v Swindon/Wolves....or Swindon v Ipswich then Swindon v Poole/Wolves?) I think Swindon would beat Poole over 2 legs but surely Swindon fancy there chances of beating Ipswich over 2 legs more than they do facing Poole I hope whoever finishes top out of Swindon or Poole do pick each other then it would serve them right if they got beat..........Poole to finish top and have one match v Swindon , or pick Ipswich and have 2 matches If my team finished top and Kings Lynn were the strong in form team in the play offs then there is no way id want them in the semis, local rivals or not. Sorry but ive no idea why Poole or Swindon would pick each other
-
Ive said already....if Poole finish top and pick Swindon then that is the daftest thing i have ever heard Surely you would pick your weakest opponents as that would give you 2 large crowds, one for the semi and one for the final Poole pick Swindon and lose they have had one big crowd Cant believe Poole would give up the chance of a title to try and earn some extra cash What will bring in more money.....one match v Swindon or two matches v Ipswich and possibly Swindon again There can only be 2 reasons why Poole would pick Swindon 1. They feel they can beat them 2. They are scared of being beaten by Ipswich thus only getting one crowd If its to do with finances then Poole speedway must be in a poor position
-
Why? Im an Ipswich fan but its very obvious we are the weakest side Surely you would want to be in a final
-
I honestly have no idea why Surely whoever finishes top will pick us , why wouldnt they?
