  1. He clearly touched him he tried to ride through him what was MPT supposed to do Sorry yes it’s how much you touch someone not if… He steamed under MPT who had to take avoiding action You must be totally blind Lawson was out of order against Tungate the other week at Ipswich … now Tungate even though he rides for my club isn’t exactly my favourite rider but it seems many riders have an issue with Mr Lawson and his ‘tactics’ Poole have had their fair share of dirty riders over the years Dakota North and Dennis Andersson spring to mind …. Same as all clubs …. Just seems Poole fans just don’t accept any criticism at all
  2. Track was awful and not good to hold a prestige meeting on a track where you can’t race … 2 passes all night wow!! I can never understand why Poole fans are so blinkered … as an Ipswich fan we all know Foxhall doesn’t often produce great racing and we admit that … Poole fans just defend the track On to the meeting and Masters and Douglas showing they are the best two riders in the league especially as Masters has basically won it completely unfit a great effort and let’s hope Douglas is ok as Wolves fans won’t want to see that … Lets hope that next year it gets moved to a track that can actually provide entertainment to reflect the nature of the event
  3. You do have it laugh at the sheer dumb founding attitude of certain speedway fans on this forum with regards to the Adam Ellis wildcard situation. This years final has not been completed and there needs to be a wildcard chosen…….it was decided that highest placed non GP rider would get it…. The meeting was abandoned with NO RESULT….. thus meaning NOBODY was highest placed. I am a huge Tom Brennan fan (especially after his Ipswich guest performance) but to say he should get it over Harris or Nicholls or King or Kerr or Steve Worrall would be a complete farce as all of those guys ( maybe a couple of others) have every right to say they could have made the final … what if Harris or Brennan had an Ef or a fall and finished on 8??……. So they gave it to Adam Ellis who missed out last year so easily the best option. All that’s got to happen from now on is that the British Final is always AFTER Cardiff….. thus the 2022 winner is Cardiff wildcard in 2023 and the 2023 winner is the Cardiff wildcard in 2024……. The only issue is if the 2023 British Final is before the 2023 Cardiff GP then who would get the wildcard Seems to me that people are to bothered by who they love to hate ….. those who can’t stand Bomber want Brennan… those that don’t like Ellis want Bomber or Brennan!!! Fans letting personal choices cloud the reality The only issue last night was keeping the fans at the track in the dark … showing the ineptitude of the people running the meeting
  4. We should win this by about 10 with no Scott or MPT who was ridden dirty last night by Lawson Though being Ipswich I’m sure we will let them get a point!
  5. So Shovlar thinks that for a rider to be excluded you have to make contact lol… Thanks for the video clearly shows Lawson diving in hard and leaving MPT no room to do anything Lawson isn’t a dirty rider usually but he got this all wrong. Why can’t Poole fans see things like everyone else admit Lawson should have been excluded and move on Poole simply not strong enough this season if the 3 heat leaders don’t get at least 10 each they struggle Plymouth lost Barker and lost MPT in the meeting had a reserve that didn’t score so Poole couldn’t beat a 4 man team with their usual 1-7…. MPT unbeaten until Lawson took him out of the meeting and his next 3 rides accrued 2 points so Plymouth so unlucky not to win comfortably in the end
  6. Yes that is unlucky but Cole’s was second wasn’t he when he fell so the luck evened out surely
  7. If I’ve read it right Coles was ahead of Ablitt and Scunthorpe on a 5-1 when he fell ….. so how is Cook packing up unlucky?
  8. What a great result Harris scored as much as NKI has been doing and R/R scored as well as Jorgensen add in the fact that Worrall got 7 rides and R/R for Starke only got 4 then the witches were superb Written off by many but we are proving people wrong
  9. Where have I said I hate Janowski? Where have I said he isn’t world class? Do I think he will ever be world champion? No I believe he isn’t mentally tough enough It’s called an opinion Magic may prove me wrong I just feel when it comes to the crunch he goes missing
  10. Disgusting that a GP track is that bad….. of course Shovlar likes it he is a wind up merchant who always gives an opposite opinion to anyone else just to cause comment sad and predictable Someone said the Poles didn’t like it well first and second shows that to be wrong lol Tai looking good just an awful gate choice in the semi Dan just made a mistake in the first corner of his semi final maybe youthful exuberance and lack of experience Lambert steady if not spectacular but that was what was needed tonight And what can you say about Zmarzlik…… hated conditions but like a multi world champion does he made the best of a bad night …. I hope he goes on to win it again as he is the best rider by far and amazing to watch Madsen to inconsistent to put up a challenge and the less said about Janowski the better he just crumbles and sulks and will never be a world champion isn’t mentally tough enough Can see it being the ‘old guard’ so to speak as the top 3 at the end of the season…. Zmarzlik, Tai and Freddie
  11. But according to Shovlar Leicester were favourites having Harris for Hans when quite clearly Hans was the better rider at both tracks ….. Shovlar again spouting this usual crap and bluster Harris scored 13 points over 2 legs….. blimey Hans got 11 and 12 in 2 home meetings against Poole Poole can only beat whats in front of them but they have took the luck when it’s come there way and with a good guest in Zach Cook in the home leg
  12. Talking out of your backside again …. Harris so much better than Andersen lol Harris scored 8 tonight Hans has scored 6 and 9 at Poole this season Hmmm please tell me how 8 is much better than 9…..Oh and Zach Cook scored more than Nielsen would have done so how the heck can you say Poole were weaker Nice to see a Poole choke though
  13. King and Klindt back and maybe Cook , Kemp(though can’t ride our place) and Rowe…. What does that leave? Think it will be Heeps and Allen back which personally I wouldn’t want to see, let’s get some fresh blood in and try something different Though having said that I wouldn’t mind Starke as he gives 110%
  14. Is that the Chris Harris that got 8 from 6 rides this season replacing the Hans Anderson that got 9 from 5 and 6 from 3…… hmmm seems that maths isn’t your strong point or checking facts either Oh and in 2019 Hans scored 14 from 6 and Harris got 8 twice I’m still trying to work out your maths in who scores the best at Poole You like to get excuses in we know that buys yet again the facts speak for themselves …. Harris for Hans isn’t making them stronger
  15. This thread is about the 5 most favourite riders....not necessarily the best 5..... So for pure entertainment value: Mark Loram Joe Screen Andrew Silver Jan O Pedersen Ben Howe
  16. You will get used to the Poole fans........always a reason why they get beat but when they win its simply because they were the better side.... Blaming gate 4 when they had it more times is laughable but then again you are dealing with Shovlar..........and no disrespect to Berwick but the clown thinks Poole can beat Ipswich and they cant even beat Berwick lol
  17. You said the Poole team would beat the Ipswich team … … you just proved they wouldn’t do thank you …. And I will struggle to see how your newcomer will be better than Rowe lol The leagues are obviously closer nobody is denying that But as you proved the Poole team would not beat the Ipswich team
  18. Again i ask you the question Name more than one rider in the Poole 1-7 who is better than the rider at Ipswich riding at the same number I will give you one Schlein better than Crump though the Rory tonight was abysmal Other than that you are talking crap …. You live a troll …. Very sad and pathetic how you get your kicks
  19. Getting better and better the stars which is good to see …. Solid top 3 and Cam looked better
  20. You don’t have a number two you sacked him , therefore our reserve rode as a second string for you …. That tells you something And yes Ben Cook is a good rider …. But not as good as Paul Starke though yes he may end up better in time Your argument is flawed The Poole 1-7 would not beat the Ipswich 1-7….
  21. Hahahahahahhahahaahaha So you think Worrall is better than Cook You think Nielsen and Kemp at 2 and 4 are better than Rowe and Allen You think James Wright is better than Paul Starke You think Hume is better than Kemp You either know eff all about the sport or you are trolling for response Why don’t you take your trolling crap back to your own section You are tiresome
  22. Back with your usual crap!!! King and Schlein ride for both and Cook is better than Steve Worrall… Rowe and Allen are better than Kemp and Nielsen Kemp and Starke are miles better than Wright and Hume We get the leagues are closer …. But please if you think the Poole side that beat Leicester last night is better than the Ipswich side tonight then you are clearly deluded… oh hang on sorry yes you are trolling …. Yawn
  23. Exactly what i said when Peterborough won at our place last week. 2 out of 5 riders in double figures and the other 3 scoring between 5-8 and a good reserve and they will win lots of matches I dont get why people cant understand why Palin was taken out of heat 14, Lyon made the correct call. Some have also said why is Palin not at 7.............i guess its a fine line between winning matches and trying to give Palin track time. If Palin was at 7 he would have met Flint twice more and Becker and Morris...........races that Ully at home might (and did) beat those riders...... no guarantee that Palin would have beaten Flint and unlikely he would have beaten Morris and Becker If Ully was at 7 he would have had been up against Douglas, Masters, Becker and Morris and might not have scored as many What im saying is that its as broad as its long. Ully at 6 might have dropped 3 more points say and Palin at 7 might have added 1 or 2
  24. What i mean is the class of the fields differ in my opinion From the 1st qualifier i would say Fricke, Michelsen, Dudek, Thomsen and Pawlicki could be classes as GP level From the 2nd qualifier , Berntzon, Kolodziej, Zagar, Holder and Lambert But in the third one i would say only Laguta and at a push Smolinski
  25. Well done to the Panthers. Ulrich was always going to be a trump card at reserve and it showed Peterborough will have a team capable of winning anywhere. They have a top 5 that on any given race day two of them will get double figures and 2 others will get 7 or 8 and maybe one of them 5 or 6.......thats the recipe to win matches. Last night it was Scott and Hans that got the double figures backed by Harris and Bjarne..... If the Panthers top 5 get say 12,11,7,7,5 thats 42 points and that will win a lot of meetings
