Ive highlighted in bold just because im not sure you can see properly If you read what i said again then i would suggest its you making yourself look stupid at the moment..............unless you know 100% that Wells will do the play offs
-
One of those matches where i sort of hope we dont win...........would rather face Poole over 2 legs then Swindon
-
My opinion is that once Poole lost Worrall they were a much better side then as was proved by the run of form they went on. My thoughts were that they didnt need to sign anyone My opinion is that they still shouldnt have unless they could find the right rider which they clearly havent In the play offs i would say Poole will be better with R/R at 2 and have Covatti at 6 where he could impact a meeting if needed by having 7 rides.......now if one of the 1-5 are having an off night who do Poole have that could come in and do better from reserve........Josh form has slipped a bit so would you be happier having Covatti in to replace him or rely on THJ or Wells? I agree that r/r is risky in play offs in case you get an injury.............but the Poole team is now weaker than it was a month ago.....if Poole felt like they could replace Worrall then they should have done it much much sooner And by throwing in the towel i mean they are if they choose Swindon.............surely the aim is to be champions and at least make the final not worry about a bumper gate in the semi final And it does show that they have got things wrong because they are the 3rd best side in the play offs........they were favourites at the start and most of the season..why are they no longer favourites?.....because they have made poor team changes...while Swindon and Wolves have got it right. You say your not sure what other options were available............then dont change it just to get 7 riders..........Poole with r/r at 2 were stronger than they are now

Poole vs Kings Lynn 12/09/19
Gavan replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kings Lynn is smooth you would have to be blind not to realise that The track is grippy and the shale doesnt help with good racing .........totally different to wether its smooth -
So Poole who were favourites before a wheel was turned....still favourites in July........and will probably end up top......are the 3rd best side in the play offs lol...nice spin Just goes to show how badly the Poole management or promotion have been this season.......their eyes must have been off the boil completely Ok NBJ is now injured but to replace him with Wells.......... R/R for Worrall has worked fine all season although i understand the need to have 7 riders When Poole finally decide they need 7 riders they bring in a total journeyman in THJ and then see their free scoring reserve move to number 2 thus preventing im from having a full quota of rides. If the Poole promotion wanted 7 riders why not replace Worrall much sooner And then why they do they muck the team up so badly that they are no longer considered favourites................. Poole usually are the first ones to make correct changes ..this season the have it badly badly wrong and have in all liklihood stopped Poole from winning the league And now because they might take on Swindon on the semis they are throwing in the towel ..............
-
I cant believe that Poole speedway has now come to the point where they would rather rake in money once then have a chance of doing it twice..... Poole pick Swindon in the semi finals....and lose........one home meeting with a bumper crowd Poole do what they should do and pick Ipswich............one home meeting and unless they choke then they will have a final home leg as well Are Poole fans that fickle that if they beat Ipswich that if its Wolves in the final that they wont go? Surely a bumper crowd in the final doesnt matter who the opposition is? If whoever finishes top doesnt pick Ipswich then the sport has died as a competition and sadly is only about making money Poole have won twice at Ipswich..Swindon won easily at ours once and battered us at their place..............why would either not pick Ipswich!

Lets get this straight Shovlar came on here and told anyone who wanted to listen that Wells will stand down You roped in better riders (horses for courses) away at Lynn that was abandoned and then home to Lynn Forget about this Monday..........if Wells doesnt ride in the play off matches then its blatant cheating
-
I love your attempt at trying to deflect the allegations against Poole Palm Toft pulled out when Redcar raced at Eastbourne after 2 rides. He then missed numerous matches for Redcar and Kings Lynn.............you know Kings Lynn...the track that MPT flies around......you know Kings Lynn.....the team that cant make the play offs.....you know Kings Lynn....nothing to gain from Palm Toft not riding.... Ricky Wells RODE a full meeting for Edinburgh on Sunday He then was declared 'unfit to ride at Kings Lynn...you know Kings Lynn.... a track that Wells is awful at Poole want to finish top............everything to gain for replacing Wells Wells then deemed 'unfit' to ride at Poole Thursday.......Poole get in track specialist Douglas in. Wells like 'Lazurus' is able the next evening to not only ride for Edinburgh but get a maximum If you think the Palm Toft/Wells situations are the same that you are quite clearly deluded..........as proved that your post was liked by Shovlar lol If Wells does not ride Monday..does not do the play offs...then its cheating plain and simple......Poole speedway mantra
-
Wells must ride Monday....if he doesnt then the cheats are in full force.......which team is trying to manipulate things again.............is anyone surprised......#anyonebutpoole
-
Well we all now know if Wells doesnt ride in the play offs its blatant cheating.......similar to getting Douglas to ride the other night and then the very next night Wells bangs in a maximum Poole will use any skullduggery to finish top and then no doubt the same in the play offs And Poole fans wonder why their club is disliked.....oh yes its jealousy lol

Poole vs Kings Lynn 12/09/19
Gavan replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If you dont think Kings Lynn is smooth then i guess you have never seen a meeting there The track is grippy thats for sure but its probably the smoothest in the league -
If he has and rides for Edinburgh then Poole need to use a national league guest........will be an absolute farce other wise

Could be tight this depending on the fitness of Palm Toft Last time Lambert was imperious but Poole missed Kurtz R/R for Worrall got 7 so Covatti at 2 will need to replicate that Wells got 9 last time but he hurt his shoulder opening a can of coke so is missing for this one but Poole are able to call on Douglas........... Poole to win by 10-12 -
Peterborough V Swindon Monday 9/9/19

Good old Muddlo When he decides to leave the comfort of the seat at Poole, where has been handed the best riders by Ford year after year,........and takes another club to the title then he can take the rise out of others. Rosco has won the league with 2 different clubs and so has Pete Adams...........come on Muddlo time to show how good a manager you can be on limited resources -
I firmly believe that no matter what happens in the last 2 rounds that Tai and Hancock will be offered 2 of them Im not Hancocks biggest fan but i want the best riders in there....age is irrelevant ...and after the career he has had then i would think it justified to give him a spot Artem Laguta has shown enough for me to get a pick should he need one It goes without saying that Doyle , if needed, will get one. I think Kolodziej, unless he has 2 magnificent rounds will not get one..... yes he has won a gp but he doesnt do much else in most meetings Lindback to i doubt will get a wildcard All this talk about 'to young' 'to soon' 'will be outclassed' is absolute rubbish............a rider has to come 14th or 15th like Lindback this year. Are you ever going to get 15 riders all capable of being world champion? No So if a place comes for say Lambert or Aspgren then so be it My ideal GP field for next season: Zmarzlik Emil Madsen Lindgren Vaculik Janowski Dudek Zagar Iversen Fricke Doyle Laguta Woffinden Hancock One of Lambert, Aspgren, Thomsen, Smektala, Drabik,

Good news for Poole that its off Time for Wells to be fit for the restaging......or he may have stubbed his toe by then -
Poole v Wolverhampton. Prem. 5th September 2019.
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So you think Covatti at 2 and THJ at 6 will get more points then R/R at 2 and Covatti at 6? -
Poole v Wolverhampton. Prem. 5th September 2019.
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Whatever Poole want it to be Apparantly his shoulder is hurting again..............just before he goes to Kings Lynn ( a place he is awful at) and Poole needing wins to try and top the table...........Douglas in against Ipswich next Monday..... I truly believe the coincedence of a rider who cant score a point anywhere being injured at the opportune moment -
Poole v Wolverhampton. Prem. 5th September 2019.
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Nobody ganged up on Starman.......he said something that was pretty awful.......i laughed it off because we all know that Starman has the mental capacity of a 5 year old. Bit rich coming from a Poole fan questioning people debating -

Funny how said shoulder injury rears its head as soon as Poole struggle for a bit of form and really need to top the table.... If Wells rides in the play offs then fine If he doesnt then this couldnt be more blatant..............nothing unusual for the pirates though -
Poole v Wolverhampton. Prem. 5th September 2019.
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So you think that Covatti at number 2 is better than having him at reserve...........dear lord But its irrelevant now as Poole have pulled another stroke by Wells 'injury' and can now get a better reserve in for every match.........standard -

So Wells perfectly ok to ride for Edinburgh on Sunday then develops a mysterious shoulder injury that keeps him out this week for Poole Poole can now use horses for courses.....what a mockery the sport is .......and always Poole involved amazing..............lets hope this injuries dont keep him out the play off matches!!
