Both times Somerset reserves have scored equal to Pooles this time they were hammered. Lawson got 8 the last two times he rode there and r/r got 3 Kurtz has been poor all season and he actually outscored his last score! A full strength Somerset would have won

Opposition riders missing = stronger Poole riders missing = weaker Anyone knows Somerset’s reserves are the second best pair in the league after Pooles and have matched them at Wimborne Road this season. Lawson has scored 8 on his last two visits. Looking at the scores Pooles reserves outscored Somersets by 10 and r/r yielded 3 points.......... Top scorer on Pooles top five was 7 points With Worrall dropping to reserve it will affect Poole as Woryna won’t keep having 6 or 7 rides

Of course Somerset deserved a point .... a weakened team and losing by 6. At least you have the good grace to see reality but to be fair it’s only one of your ‘fans’ who thinks otherwise. If Poole went to Somerset having r/r for Klindt and missing both Woryna and Jacobsen , and only losing by 6 I’m sure Poole fans would be happy with that and expect to beat them at full strength. That’s what happened today for Somerset

You should have won this by 15-20 3 riders missing for Somerset whose replacements or r/r didnt get what the riders missing would have done. Not forgetting Holder having a mare A full strength Somerset would have won this by 6-10 points and i imagine would love to face Poole in the play offs. Worrall is the worry for Poole as he drops to reserve and Woryna unlikely to carry his form to the main body leave Poole very vulnerable, as Poole have been winning matches because of their reserves and that can easily change when the riders swop over

Huge point for Somerset considering the weakened team up against full strength Poole

Poole reserves 26 Somerset reserves 12 R/R for Lawson (8 on his last 2 visits) 3 Somerset only lose by 6...................Dont think they will be to worried when they have a full strength 1-7 back again

The loss of Lawson and the 2 reserves is proving far to much for Somerset plus Jack having a nightmare. Expected score , in fact im stunned Poole arent further ahead against a depleted side

With Somerset missing Lawson who is good for 8 points at Poole, and also missing the only 2 reserves in the league who have matched Pooles at Wimborne Road, this all points to what should be a very comfortable win for the Pirates

Somerset are the only team whose reserves have scored on a par with Pooles in all of Pooles recent home meetings so the loss of those 2 is huge but Poole can only beat what is in front of them. 27/6 Poole v Somerset.................Pooles reserves 12 ....Somersets 14...........Poole lose by 5 13 /8 Poole v Somerset...........8 - 8.........Poole win by 4 Then if we look at other teams at Poole 4/7 Belle Vue 19-3 .....Poole win by 19 25/7 Leicester 21-7.....Poole win by 26 1/8 Kings Lynn 22-5.....Poole win by 32 9/8 Leicester 9-5 (abandoned after heat 10)....Poole 20 ahead 22/8 Swindon 17-4..... Poole win by 18 Its quite clear Poole are winning matches due to their reserve strength and Somerset seem to be the only team who have reserves that can match Poole ....big loss and an easy Poole win now.
