Seen a few of your posts lately and the wprd thicko sprung to mind - this post clearly cements why i think that!!! Rising will tell you black is white as long as his bsi lovers tell him to do so. At least that disgrace of a gp wont be back on the calender next year - doesnt even look a good stadium so fail to understand where the comments about it being a major stadium come from!

switched off after heat 4, complete rubbish on a pathetic track. What a load of garbage As for that berk phil rising defending the non stop nonsense that occurs at most gps, grow a pair and admit the whole show is a farce I was looking forward to the Melbourne gp at the ethiad stadium at the end of the season seeing melbourne is my new home city but probably give it a miss now if its another farcial mess of a temp track.

Always remember Ashfield as being one of the PLs best race tracks when i first started following Newport. Didnt attend until 2003/4ish but used to have the videos of the wasps scottish tours and the racing was superb. Seen a few heats of lastnight and the track looks good - i remember the stadium as being a right dump but looks completely different now and a good crowd too Feel big time for Peter Mole at sheffield - a good looking team just falling apart in front of him. Stead oit, in form bellego out and now this with proctor Bridger for stead and bellego for proctor still leaves them looking a good side - comptons rolling back the years which is great to see .

Watched this from Aus at 3am this morning, thought the track was disgraceful. Complete farce Cant imagine this gp being held again despite the contract. -

Knew leicester looked good - even with andersen coventry still would of had a pasting Get ris of that pole what a waste of 5.50 - havin a higher average than harris and andersen in poland means sod all, both rubbish over there these days. I think klindt would be a better bet at least hed average around 5! Jamrog wont get 3. Awful signing -

For me despite a few wins at reading over the years one that sticks out for me was a bank holifay monday norning meeting in 1999. I remember watson getting 5-1d by kokko and clews in heat one then reeling off five wins .... Sure that was the day eldridge beat morris in heat 15 as we romped to victory! Great times

Rob Lambert Our Next British Hope?
Pinny replied to sommelier's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I remember Risagrr being very very highly rated at 15. He was beating the lilkes of nicki p and the other top danes in denmark before he was allowed to ride innthe uk Ended up being rubbish but at 15/16 he was a very very highly rated rider, as was pavlic -
Too busy enjoying the Aussie sun to even notice it.... Oh dear 😂

Gotta be fair i expected 9 plus from kennett last season. Still a decent number one imo. Like the rye side, if mellgren can get back to his best and jakobsen can get six then they will do well.

Very talented rider - i remember compton and cunningham at reserve for pboro and their averages went sky high and were dumped at the first chance That said cunningham was superb around Swindon - even in his newport season. I remember us getting stuffed and he didnt try a leg foer a few rides then rattled off three or four wins on the bounce once the match was over! Was looking forward to seeing Cunningham in 1999 after all the hype and he turned up at newport in an early season challenge and was superb with a 15 point max. After that he was pretty average - watson and henriksson used to wipe the floor with him

If Mellgrens fully fit then this move makes Rye stronger! Kennett mellgren jakobsen aspegren boxall bowen and lykke doesnt look too bad a side now imo

Makes a change not seeing travis mcgowans name on a thread like this!
-
Very talented rider if hes in the mood and superb to watch as well.
-
Both complete garbage going on those figures.
-
The same place as yours will be this time next year, probably!

Was 9.00 back in 2000 - i remember Harrison signing for glasgow on 9.00
-
Brilliant side IMO. Bags of room of improvement from Kurtz, Worrall, Holder and even Josh G.
-
Like gjedde with berwick, the promotion should of acted earlier at glasgow and bombed him out. Their own fault for keeping him so long, i think its quite clear what was going ! But im not going to slag the situation off - we signed Gjedde on 6.5 or similar and before he had turned a wheel for us we knew hed average near 9 - didnt expect him to average well over 10.00 with bonuses tho! Wolbert will average close to 9 next season - without doubt.
-
He will be a good signing. Got lots of time for robbo always trys one hundred percent, out and out racer despite the injuries hes suffered . Always remember his guest performances for the wasps when wato was injured absolute class
-
I think a fully fit Lanham on a sub 5 ave on a track he knows well could be a very shrewd signing. His best days are long gone - we know that, but he still posted some big scores from the main body of the team on a track he has never been any good on in sheffield last season. Worth a shot
-
Whos the new owners or backers at glasgow then? Have the malletts refound their passion for the sport?
-
Hansen will be like Klindt imo
