  1. Killer is riding Poland, Denmark and Sweden. I believe Rosco has already tried and failed. I'm going to bet our no.1 will be between Kylmakorpi and Nilsson maybe Fricke who has ridden well at the OTA in the past and is a future GP star. TBF we can name all the teams we want but it's just guessing.
  2. Don't get me wrong I'm excited to see riders like Doyle and Lindgren and possibly Holder and Kasprzak around the OTA but it's just the funds around the club. Yet if Debbie wasn't sure she wouldn't have done it.
  3. I'd have Thorsell yes but looks nailed on for Wolves, as does Masters who I don't think would come back to Somerset after him and the crowds falling out
  4. You could have Kim Nilsson on a 9.63 with Rohan and Josh with Charles and Jake, BWD and a 4.00 rider. Thing is we're hardly going to get top riders to come here the other teams will have wealthier promotions than what we do, plus we won't get the crowds they will either. Granted we will get a few Sky meetings and more away fans but with hardly any GP riders available it is going to be tough.
  5. Already after sponsors for next season on his Facebook page and mentions UK and Sky so would imagine he is back. If anyone leaves I think it will be Grajczonek or Starke but we do need a proper number 1.
  6. While I agree about having Allen and BWD at reserve we still need an experienced number 1. I imagine that Starke and Wrighty being assets will be back along with Tungate who could easily become an asset. Now Allen and BWD would be one of the top reserve pairings and Starke, Wright would be racing against other second strings. However If it was to be Grajczonek and Tungate that would leave 7.88 for the last rider. That is way too weak and whatever the reserves score would be lost at the top. I would lose one of Grajczonek/ Tungate and bring in someone to add some heat leader power. Was thinking Jepsen Jensen but he is in Sweden and Poland. I saw on another thread Hampel would only be around 9.80.
  7. I imagine they have other plans tbh, they prefer young exciting teams.
  8. Add in Eddie Kennett 9.27 as will almost undoubtedly be there, that leaves 22.28 that's an average of 5.57 for the last four riders. With still two second strings to go that seems like a long tail to me.
  9. I do one of the best managers in the sport.
  10. Yes I believe he is in a watered down league, better sponsors and better equipment, he clearly has the talent. We need a good number 1 though otherwise we will be outmatched by riders like Doyle and Lindgren.
  11. We won't be signing Holder i'm pretty sure of that, besides just because Rye signed Harris and Nicholls just means they will have a very long tail end. Anyway we always seen to put a good team together 4/5 years being in the play off final winning twice and narrowly losing the other two. I'm sure Garry and Debbie have their team building heads on and will once again deliver a very good and entertaining team. P.s bwd Facebook page he is asking for sponsorship and mentions he will be in UK, NZ, global and on Sky so take of that what you will.
  12. No I imagine Tungate will be there and he is an Ipswich asset, Jake Allen, BWD and Wrighty are Somerset assets. They i'm sure will be what Garry will build around.
  13. Just a thought for number 1: What average would Maciej Janowski be? Sure he has been to the ota a few times?
  14. Not particularly no tbh, nice guy and decent rider but can't ride the OTA.
  15. Ah ok must have skipped my mind lol oh well, all the better for us.
  16. Sadly i think Starke will be at Poole. Good rider but can't ride with Wright and I have a feeling we nay make Wright an asset imho. Worrall spent one season here and it didn't work for him. Wajtknecht I really don't think the OTA is for him and needs a season on a small championship track, Shanes would be a better option. Then Allen and BWD as I can't see us not signing them with their potential. With no worrall, Starke or Wajtknecht it leaves us with 11.50
  17. Agreed this thread is for the better team of the south 😀
  18. I thought Andreas was in the GP? If not then yes definitely
  19. Well you could change it and put Nicholls or Harris in and Todd Kurtz to sharpen up at reserve.
  20. How this? 1. Chris Holder - big average but would be one of the best riders, would be disappointed to see him leave UK. 2. Charles Wright - loves the club and we love him. One of the two DU riders i would imagine. 3. Rohan Tungate - was brilliant last season and also at Lejonen so shouldn't have to DU. 4. Jake Allen - was brilliant last season and deserves to be back. 5. Kacper Gomolski - was brilliant for Poole when visiting with them at the OTA. 6. Bradley Wilson Dean - same as Allen! 7. James Shanes/ Zach Wajtknecht - would love Shanes in on a 3.00 think he is in for a good year. Wajtknecht was unlucky with his injury so Garry may keep faith on a 2.00 but I don't think the OTA is for him.
  21. Is it three leagues they can ride in or Poland home and one other?
  22. Chris Holder is way to high a massive risk, however good he is. He knows it himself going by his Twitter. Anyway doesn't he ride in Poland and Sweden, sure the new polish rule means if you race in Poland you can only race in your home country and one other place.
