I have 2 spare tickets for the Berwick meeting. Cost is £35.70. For the main grandstand. £17 plus 85p handling fees for each ticket. An extra £1 if you want me to pop them in the post. I will take PayPal or bank transfer. This guarantees you get in incase it’s a sell out and no x2’s are available. -

Who buys dvds today? I don’t think I have purchased a dvd since about 2003. Fans want live streaming with a download facility straight after. Or better still a subscription of say £25ish a month which gives 2 live streams and access to downloadable home matches. -

IFollow cost £10 and I can suffer every STFC match throughout the season. In Keague 1 and 2 it’s usually one camera and commentary from BBC Swindon, which works reasonably well but does go out if sync at times. To get around piracy, every buyer uses email plus password to login. The system would have the fans IP address and if someone else logged on with the same user/password, the system boots them off and blocks the password. All very easy. As for geo-blocking, again a vpn would get over it, but the ip wouldn’t be Uk based or not match the credit/debit card information so again the password would be suspended and stream blocked. fans might do it once but once the stream is blocked it won’t be repeated in future meetings. Whatever software the clubs use, this is basic stuff the software should deal with. -

Piracy is fairly easy to stop. One IP address per stream. If the stream is shared, then the buyer gets blocked out. Works like this on most live paid for streams. -

If it’s £12 to stream or £16 to attend, home fans would rather be in the stadium. -

They can’t devalue the sport by charging a fiver. But £11.95 seems a good fair price. Happy to pay that no question. The price of a cheap meal in Beefeater and something that should be better value and leave a better taste in the mouth. Poole first meeting is going to be streamed even though crowds are allowed inside. The Poole promotion said it would cost them £2000 approx but would be cheaper going forwards. Plenty of Berwick fans buying the stream I should think. -

In other words you don’t agree with my regular way of thinking.
