Wolves without Lindgren and Thorsell Would be nowhere near as strong as Poole. With very limited choice of guest and r/r it will be a stroll in the park for Swindon. It really has just been handed to the robins on a plate. All they have to do is turn up. Seriously.

Well having viewed the footage on Twitter Lindgren was 100% at fault. Not even 10/90 Bjerres fault.

If Lindgren is missing this will be a snoozefest of a final for all but the Swindon fans, who can start celebrating as soon as Lindgren is announced as out. A real shame if Freddie is out though for neutrals. Not Swindons fault of course that they will be handed the championship on a plate with trimmings. Last year Poole were cursed with injuries at the wrong moment, and this year it's Wolverhampton.

As I have just posted on the bv v Wolves thread, if Lindgren has suffered any form of concussion he will be out of both legs of the final. With no Thorsell and Lindgren Swindon just have to turn up. So who will guest in place of Freddie if needed? King, Harris or Nicholls?

If Lindgren has any form of concussion he will not be able to ride in either leg of the final.

Guess we will see the incident soon enough. But the call has been made and no changing it. Belle Vue fans will have to suck it up.

If Lindgren hurt Swindon just need to turn up. Then Wolves fans will feel what Poole fans felt like last year with injuries at the worst possible times.

Belle Vue need a 5-1 and a 4-2 in the final two heats as long as Cook wins heat 13. No more Lindgren.........

Belle Vue to stand any chance have to 5-1 in heat 12 and 5-1 Lindgren in heat 13, and then another 5-1 in heat 14. As they haven't looked like beating Lindgren it will need a super ride from Bjerre and Cook. Edit. Well Belle Vue got the 5-1 in heat 12. Now heat 13.........

This is over already. Belle Vue have not done anywhere near enough. Tungate poor and pressure probably way too much on Bewley. Wolves should ease through relatively comfortably and meet Swindon. If Belle Vue come back from here it would be a spectacular effort.

Just caught up with the meeting and what a suprise! Thought it would be one way traffic and all over by heat 9 but Smederna had other ideas. Vetlanda clearly thought it was in the bag after last night and were complacent. Zmarzlik very naughty in one ride but his head went completely. Hampel just a gating tart nowdays. I believe Kennetts issue is funds. He doesnt have a championship club, so has only ridden 20 odd meetings this season, which leads to a lack of money and therefore investment in his machinery. His engines are just not good enough and he doesn't earn enough to pay for a good tuner. Think the Championship in 2018 is where Eddie should be.

Not sure why you are such a bad loser. We got beat, and we got beat, fair and square. Accept it and congratulate the winners. We were never going to make the final.

Thanks for asking but not until Saturday. A super weeks flying coming up in the French alps. Bristol to Nice Sunday morning and then a brilliant 7 days soaring and thermalling up to cloudbase in the alpine terrain. Will still put my nose in if I have wifi to see what's happening in the final and if possible will try and get a stream to watch the first leg of the final.

Just watched it a couple of times and agree Thorsell was the cause locking up and not giving Tungate any room whatsoever. Ref got that completely wrong.

Have to agree Phil, can't see Wolves defending the title without without Thorsell. Belle Vue should pull this back fairly easily on the best racetrack in the country. Lindgren won't have enough backup. I have Belle Vue as clear favourites for the title right now. Watching Swindon last night they failed to impress and struggled to put away the weakest Poole team in years. Doyle said on TV he is taking no risks. He let down his Polish team when it mattered and isn't going to risk a world title For me, I believe Belle Vue will go all the way.
