  1. Is this post just chucked in because in the previous posts there was no mention of slagging off Poole so it had to be done? A ridiculous comment. Poole are on Sky no more than any other club and get the same share of the frankly meagre Sky money as every other club.
  2. I have sat on the fence with who I have wanted to win here. Difficult to call who I hope will win. Just because Belle Vue have kept the same 1-7 means little, and against them is the rumours that the promotion couldn't afford to field this team and will collapse in one hell of an ugly mess as soon as the playoffs are over. Against that is bringing in a rider who snubbed his nose at British Speedway domestically and internationally, then decided to ride here as rides dried up abroad. Guess I would prefer Belle Vue to win in that aspect. Just hope that they can continue next season in some form or other.
  3. Tr3mm0r Why are you bothered? You have said so many timez, the BSI GP is rubbish, and only the Extra League is important and GP is start-ride-finish boring etc. Now suddenly you are all upset and ranting because Doyle has lost out? You are not interested because only Extra League is important. You have said it loads of times on here so why care? Also it was not Harris fault Doyle crashed. It was clear it was Lindgren who caused the accident. Harris was a victim the same as Doyle.
  4. Terrible news and he must be so gutted, especially as he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fate has dealt him a bad blow. But I am sure he has the drive and determination next season to win it. He certainly deserves to be called a World Champion after his superb displays this season. Get well soon Jason.
  5. Pearson is a speedway fan and is bound to have his favourites. I didn't notice it at all.
  6. Didn't see that coming! Well done Iversen. Thought it was Zmarzliks night but not to be. Cracking GP with some brilliant racing all the way through. Hancock just like Holder got slower as the meeting went on. Hancocks title now. Too far in front. Commiserations to Jason Doyle who but for injury would more than likely have been crowned world champion.
  7. Of course its gutting for Doyle but what are the others meant to do? A real shame for Doyle who looked like he would have won his first title in Aus. I was hoping he would win it so we have the world champion in the EL. But its all happened before and will happen again in the future. A very dangerous sport. But this gp is a cracker imo.
  8. Hell of a race! Whoever scores the most points over all rounds is the champion. Was hoping for Doyle but that's the way it goes in this sport. If Hancock wins it this year he deserves it. Tough on Doyle. Woofinden completely lost his edge.
  9. Ofvcourse its not. Injuries are part of the sport. Bad luck on Doyle no doubt. But injuries could hit any rider. What are the challengers meant to do? Run lasts?
  10. Where are the plans for the actual stadium, or the artists impression? Seen a plan showing where it will be but what will it look like? Hopefully not grass banks and a couple of portacabins.
  11. Such a shame. Even if he is fit to ride the gap will be too big to catch up.
  12. Again the airfence not doing its job. Its an all too familiar story of the bike hitting the airfence, the fence lifting and the rider ploughing into whatever is behind the airfence. Happened to Holder at Coventry giving severe injuries. Best wishes to Doyle. Watching the slow mo replays Lindgren was 100% to blame for the crash. Harris did nothing wrong at all. What is it with these refs?
  13. Doyle out of the meeting goodbye to his championship. A shamevas he was the man on form. Door open for Hancock and Woofinden.
  14. Hard on Harris. Lindgren should have gone. Disaster for Doyle wish him a speedy recovery. Title chance gone.
  15. Eh? Its a complete sellout. There's no empty seats.
  16. Good start to the racing. Passing in the first two heats.
  17. You can't. Tesco sell pepsi and Coke. Plus other brands including their own.
  18. Poole have said to Andersen if he wants the second year of his contract, Poole fixtures must take priority over Danish fixtures, as they ride on the same night. They are not stopping him from riding elsewhere or telling him to drop a league.
  19. Do you honestly believe that rubbish? Do you honestly believe Poole wanted to go into the semi final at Monmore with one heat leader? You blind hatred of Poole has got the better of you.
  20. Absolutely. A simple decline of the invite to replace Hans would have given us more of a fighting chance of reaching the final. To not be able to come over before the day of the first leg to practice certainly got the alarm bells ringing and even Middlo stated that was not good. A decent guest would have given us a better opportunity of a bigger lead. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Hans injury couldn't have happened at a worst time as a fit Hans would have scored more at home and a load more than two at Monmore. I certainly don't want it to seem like sour grapes but believe we would be riding against Belle Vue on Monday at Poole if Andersen had been fit to race. As it is Wolves easily saw off the very weak Poole team we had to put out at Monmore and could only beat what was put in front of them. In that respect they deserved to be finalists.
  21. Pretty obvious it was a problem and cost Poole any chance on Monday night of defending our lead. If anyone truly thought Poole were stronger without Lindback they know nothing of the sport. Poole had to ride with one heat leader, second strings and reserves!
