Well done Vaculik on the win but a bigger well done to Noddy for closing the gap at the top. Level second now and a big move up the leadr board. To get second off the worst gate took some doing. Good stuff. -

Fanbloodytastic GP final. I was watching the Polish feed and thought to myself if Noddy can make the podium he would have to class it a success with Gollob and Hampel in the race. But they were so determined to knock 5 bells out of each other by the fence Holder couldn't believe his luck and picked off one then the other to silence the partisan crowd. Brilliant stuff from Noddy. Bloody brilliant and I am sure Sky will be making the most of this on Monday night, where Holder usually struggles. Well done Noddy!!!!! P.S anyone got the Sky version of the final to put online? I want to hear English commentary. -

Bunyan beats Bjerre. Sums up why Bjerre is nothing but a gating tart. -

There's certainly a need for speed on this track and you could tell from Holders first interview he was in trouble when he said he didn't just have the speed in his first choice bike. Now won't make the semis along with AJ by the look of it. ON a track like this speed is everything. Meeting has certainly improved after a dire first half. -

Looking at the crowd it looks like many are first time visitors to speedway and are just sitting on the grass clapping politely. Not the way to get an atmosphere going as they probably don't really know who is who. and don't have club or more like it country allegiences. -

NOt impressed at all at the mo. Track gives little help to passing. AJ nowhere that time. Miss the gate and doomed. Second batch of four heats an improvement on the first. Hopefully the track will improve further. -

Slick old track at the mo. Make the gate and chances are you will win it. Holder could make no impression at all at the back. -
Could you please pm me a link as I am not home this weekend and only have the laptop. Cheers Steve

Quite clear the difference in the two last season. Ward miles better and top of the EL averages. Emil somewhat lower in the pack. Emil looks a rider on the edge and often past it. Ward looks smooth and fast and aggressive. Emil is good, no mistake, but in the same level as Ward. My opinion of course. Then why didn't he blow away the EL opposition?

Having witnessed Adams and Crumps careers from the start, I have to say Wards is better than both of them at the same age. While Adams faild to capture a WC, Crump got three. Crump was always a bit more of an aggressive rider than Adams, and the reason he became a WC. BUT IMO Ward has more skill than Crump and is easily as aggressive, if not more so. Never knows when he is beaten. And still loads of improvement left in the tank. Of course injury can take its toll, or another rider come along with equal of high potential to take away the chance of a WC, butWard has it all. Already. And then extra on top. Take a look at that heat 12 in Torun last year against Golob and Hancock. Two riders at the top of their game, one who was about to be WC, and Ward had them for breakfast. Destined to dominate for the next 10 years along with Holder and perhaps Emil. ( PLus whatever other yung riders who has yet to hit the scene)

What a load of nonesense this has become. I am certainly no big fan of Batchelor and the right decision was made to exclude him. But speedway is a mans sport and things like this happen every night of the week. This is the National Championships and Batchelor wanted to win. If there's a gap a rider will go for it and Batchelor went for the gap in a last gasp effort to win the heat. Smith closed the door, they clashed and Batchelor was rightly excluded. Unfortunatly Smith came off badly and broke his leg. Hope he gets well soon. More often than not all riders would get up and walk back to the pits. I don't think Batchelor tried to cause an accident and wasn't "dirty". Just hard.
