Has there been some behind closed door practice to make sure the track rides ok? This is a sitting duck for a sold out stadium, biggest crowd in decades only to discover a Warsaw gp type track or worse. The track needs to be perfect from the first heat with no nails in coffins or shots through feet.
-
To be honest I dont care how much it is to get in as long as its not rained off. A long way to go to watch the BV v Poole meeting but looking firward to the visit and four big fat juicy points.
-
Is he a Lions fan? Thought he was from Coventry.
-
Well I am glad the season didnt start a week earlier because with the huge amount of rain we have had the track is probably underwater!
-
I already have both thise addons thanks. Its simply human nature to try and get something for nothing. But of course you are correct.

Only thing I havent yet got is the Polish sports channels for Sunday speedway live. Anyone have any ideas which app would cover it?
-
Belle Vue the most costly place in the UK to watch EL speedway. £23 is a lot. I could understand £20 as its a new stadium but its £6 less to watch the triple champs and sit front and centre.
-
Very easy. I advise going to YouTube and subscribe to jasonmoore85. Watch his vids and you will have all you want. He shows in simple terms how to do it.

Just watched the leading story on tonights BBC news at 6 and its about a medical breakthrough in Poland where physicians have helped a man who was paralised from the chest down to walk again. It involves removing a tiny part of the brain which can regrow. Test have been very positive. Doctors are looking for people with severed spinal colums to be part of this trial. The report said it wasnt an instant fix and physio was paramount. Should be repeated later so worth catching. R http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-35660621 Thoughts on this?

I actually dont recall Tatum saying that about purse strings to be honest. It still doesnt change the facts that he would have wanted Bjarne and Bridger and cleared out another member of the team, regardless of purse strings.
-
Glad to see that in today's Speedway Star it repeats what I said Kelvin Tatum said at Poole last week, that he would have kept Bjarne and Bridger and got rid of another rider.
-
Thanks that was what I was asking. You cant compare different eras with different rules. It would be asking what Ronnie Sullivan would have done in the Fred Davis Era. A Poole team of today would be half a lap in front of the fag smoking beer drinking riders of the past. So basically Wembley and Wimbledon lead the way. Much harder to repeat today due to team average restrictions.
-
I have to say, injuries apart, I can't see past Poole lifting the title again. No clear weak links, riders for big and small tracks. Threats from Belle Vue and now with the withdrawel of North lesser so from Swindon. One for the historians. What is the team with the most dominant history in the sport? Wembley? Belle Vue? If Poole win the title this year will they be the most dominant club in the history of the sport in the UK over a given period? Genuine question and take into account in the old days there was no rider team building averages to work to.

Too right. Watching the to series of Fargo now. Bloody brilliant show. Always adding new apps and looking out for new sports streams away from the main ones which can buffer at times. I used to pay £65 a month for premium channels. Won't pay a penny again. -
So they saw hunkenbuk ride around with Lambert in a practice and thought that was enough to put him in the 1-7??? Are they mad? He sounds like someone out of Whacky Races. Who do they think he will be riding against? Penelope Pitstop and Professor Pat Pending? Heres the rub. Could you imagine Matt Ford watching an unknown ride around with a second string and then just sign him on that and put him in the 1-7? Never in a month of Sundays and perhaps one of the reasons Lynn never win much.

Well I am watching the Liverpoo v Augsburg match here on Kodi through channel FS1, an American channel with American commentators and its in crystal clear HD with no buffering. No reason to not watch the speedway in HD next month. Plenty of places to find HD sports streams on Kodi. -
The bspa have not announced it because according to Nigel Pearson the rule has not been written into the scb rule book just yet.
-
Just reported what Kelvin said and i did stream it live on periscope last night with over 40 people watching it. He was being genuine when he said he would have kept Bjarne and Bridger and let anither rider go.
-
Kelvin Tatum said last night that he wanted Bjarne in the team and classed him as a true pro. He also said he wanted Bridger as well and wanted to get rid of another rider but the choice was not his.
-
Well that was a great nights entertainment. Interesting point about squads. Its been agreed that squads can be used but not yet written into the rule book hence no announcement from the bspa.

Going live in ten minutes.
