Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 6/4/16
Steve Shovlar replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Always amuses me when I read people post theres naff all to do in Poole. I should imagine theres exactly the same to do in Poole as there is in any other town in this country. Top quality resteraunts, cinemas, theatres, night clubs, pubs, shops, even a Lidl and Aldi. Plus blue riband beaches, a quay, watersports, scuba diving, fishing, Harry Redknapp and the other multi millionaires on Sandbanks, a nudist beach for those that want to let it all flop out, Paragliding to flow over the top of them and perv, as well as a premier league football club 5 miles down the road. I should imagine most other towns dont even come close to what Poole and Bournemouth offer. Yep. Naff all to do. Oh, and a speedway club that has been doing rather well for the last few years. As for Wednesday, it should be reasonably close. -

Yes. Dudek was the cause of the stoppage by having an ef. That was proved by lifting his arm. He did nothing wrong but Kildemands view was blocked until it was too late resulting in the crash caused by Dudeks ef. How can it be otherwise? -

So Dudek, who caused the carnage with an ef, is allowed in the rerun while innocent Kildermand is excluded? What utter nonsense. -

Dudek was not under power so cause of stoppage. Kildemand did nothing wrong and was innocent. Ref is bonkers -

Horrendous crash. Hope they are ok Wow both up. Kildermand ex? -
e I agree that people should post under their real name. Many forums demand it. However sometimes using real names may cause issues in stadiums with some nutter taking a dislike to a post. I never doubted it was you as you have posted in here before and have a distinct writing style. Either way something fishy seems to be going on for this to be called off. Hoe Sky havent pulled the plug. Even though they pay speedway loose change for the rights, clubs giving it back would cause mayhem.

Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 6/4/16

Poole to win but much closer than many might expect. Kennet rides Poole well but so does Lawson. Either rider would cause issues. Our reserves will be the difference on Wednesday. As for next Friday at Lakeside, well I don't expect anything other that a home win as Lakeside could well be a fortress this season, with away form their mauin issue. -

Got a cystal clear pic here from my kodi box. Better than bbc1! The home side is full of youngsters and a gollob at reserve who looks like he was just dragged out of bed. Jacek Gollob, they are scrapping the barrel. Sad no crowd work to do to win them back. Away team looks much stronger. Really Harris should clean up. Edit. No wonder the pic is good its a hd feed from tvp sport hd. So what do I know the Russian had him for beakfast. Gollob clearly out of his depth and pretended to have bike problems. -
Have to agree I found it boring and tirned over to the Liverpool Tottenham match because it was meaningless. By the size of the criwd the Pilesalso thought the same.

Lakeside V Leicester 1st April
Steve Shovlar replied to Hornsey's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not a Lions fan but he put in similar performances for poole at Lakeside years ago. -
Thing is Coventry fans must realise they are doing the same as they normally do. A club who make up the numbers so Poole and other clubs can kick their ass. Sure in 2010 they won a title but they had a ringer at reserve in Pawlicki who never should have been there but for Roscos fiddling. End of the day it is just business as usual at Brandon. Dont know why their fans are up in arms. Do they really expect to challenge with this team?

Coventry V Wolves 1/4/2016
Steve Shovlar replied to Woz01's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Really? Thought there would at least be a couple of hundred due to it being a local derby. It takes nearly three hours to get to Brandon from Poole but theres usually 30+ of us make the trip every time Poole are there, and many more for a crucial meeting. -
Kings Lynn Stars V Belle Vue Aces 31/3
Steve Shovlar replied to semion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Give the record player a nudge its stuck in a groove. You have repeated yourself at least a dozen times in the last 2 weeks. You dont have to say the same thing virtually every day. We only have to read it once to understand you think the EL poor and the PL great. Please give your brain a nudge the next time you think of writing the same thing yet again. -

Belle Vue looking like a top two team and Kings Lynn shown up as a very weak team. Lord knows they are going to be whipping boys once Nki leaves. -

Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Well its a hard line statement and so no more filming which is a shame for everyone. Providing a view of a couple of heats in a meeting is hardly going to stop fans from attending but provides a great service for fans of e away team to see that vital heat. A shame and backwards thinking imo. There is a demand to watch and in the future a steaming service behind a pay wall would bring in a new revenue stream to clubs. -

A faggot is a bundle of sticks, twigs, or branches bound together and used as fuel, a fascine, a torch, etc. So perhaps Starman meant you were worse than a bundle of twigs. Or perhaps not........🤔😆 -

I dont need phone or tv package as I watch everything online, plus for phone i use mobile. So I have just gone with Virgin for their fast 100mb service at £34. No line rental. Getting about 88mb download speed. Fastest I have ever experienced. -
Sgp Predicted Finish Places
Steve Shovlar replied to phillipsr's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
1. Woffinden 2. Iversen 3. Holder 4. Janowski 5. Kildermand 6. Pedersen 7. Hancock 8. Hampel 9. Doyle 10. Lindback 11. Zagar 12. Zmarlik 13. Jonsson 14. Pawlicki 15. Harris Woffinden to keep the title under pressure from Iversen. Holder looks very fresh and will be much improved on last season. Expect Janiwski to be Polish number one. Kilderman to do well. Hancock and Pedersen on the wane but still pull out a win or two. -

A world of difference between the rider then and now. He will probably never be a world beater but a decent second string / third heat leader is clearly his aim and I believe it is certainly achievable. -

Isn't Newman currently in Poland at the moment and riding tomorrow for Pila in their fist league meeting of the season? Which Polish team is Garrity riding for this season? He must have one as in your opinion he is way better than Newman. The Polish clubs must have been ringing his phone off the hook. Your assesmentnof Garrity over Newman is absolutely miles off target. Kyle will be up in the team in the next rew weeks and gaining further experience. A team rider who put his local club first even though he wanted to be in the 1-5. Can the same be said of Garrity, who I hold no grudge and want to succeed? His determination to be in the Coventry 1-5 has cost his club any chance of trophies this season. Or is Newman much more
