  1. Eh? You obviously didn't read my post. I said I wanted Harris to go through to the final but it was a simple call. Harris knocked off Andersen. Just because Andersen rides for Poole at the moment doesn't mean I automatically support him in the GP series. I never have done before and just because he rides for my club for part of a season doesn't change anything. I was not biased at all, or if anything Pro Harris, but the ref got it absolutely spot on and excluded the correct rider.
  2. Just got back. A mediocre British GP IMO with Crump dominant. Made it all a bit lacklustre. He should have been excluded when he slightly looked up and Jonsson had nowhere to go and went into him. Ref got that one wrong but the only difference it would have made was that Crump would have been three points less than he is at this moment. Both Pedersen and Harris were rightly excluded. Had to laugh when all around me were booing Andersen. I wanted Harris to stay in but it was obvious he was at fault. Same with Pedersen he didn't have a leg to stand on. Funny watching the ruckus between Nicholls and Saifudinov. Scott did nothing wrong and Emil picked on the wrong guy to have a go at. This is GP and hard riding is the order of the day. Crowd a fair bit down on last year, possibly 5000 less. Still an entertaining day and again I won't spend a penny over £30 for a ticket. Purchased £60 face value tickets for £30 outside and found ourselves on the middle teir at the apex to the 3rd/4th bend. We eye baled some great seats middle tier opposiite the starting gate and after heat 4 moved to them. No problems, free flag and superb seats. Until it's sold out I see no reason not to do the same every year. So Crump has it in the bag. Shame but Nicki is not in the form of last year and until Holder and Lindback come into the series, along with Kennett, Zagar and a few more youngsters to threaten the boring old farts, we will might have to suffer a couple more seasons of this. Adams looks like he is ready to fall on his sword which has to be good news, and Hancock can't be far behind. And one more thing. For gods sake the music is 90% hogwash. A few decent numbers to get the crowd going but it was child like at times. The Hokey Cokey for Christs sake!! There's plenty of tracks to get the crowd going, not rubbish like that.
  3. Bloody hell it was bad enough watching it live, why suffer it again?
  4. What a dull GP and dull winner. Last thing this series needs is Crump to win it. Emil really croaked when it mattered, inexperience. The sooner these old rider clear out of it the better. At least Adams knows his time is up, and hopefully we will see the back of Hancock this year. Lets hope that Cardiff is better than this rubbish.
  5. Agree totally. Pedersen was robbed. I like Emil but he should have been out. Wasn't even a 50/50.
  6. Big big well done to Toninho! What a comeback and so close to winning it. This guy is world class and has been sadly missed for a couple of seasons. His working with TRick is certainly paying off.
  7. I thought it was a shocking decision and Emil should have been out. Pedersen extremely hard done by. He was clearly in the lead and Saifudinov suckered the ref by turning left. And I am no Pedersen fan.
  8. Just watched Nicholls today at his Polish track. Scrapped 6 points frm 5 rides, including a paid win when he got a monster roller which should have been called back. Managed to just beat Darcy ward in his last ride for 2 points. He really is in poor form and needs to get back here to sort himself out.
  9. Just watched this afternoons meeting on Sopcast. What a thriller with a dramatic last heat last bend decider.
  10. What a crock those two currently are. Are they really the best we have to offer? So far out of their depth and really sad to see. Harris can't gate so stands no chance. Totally out of his depth. Nicholls made a howler dropping EL speedway. If he says he isn't missing it we should rename him Pinochio. He needs to get back into the EL for starters to get himself sorted out. Can't see either of them in the GP series next year. Well hopefully not. Best that can happen is that Harris fails to qualify to give Kannett and Tai, or Bridger a snaiff. They may struggle but give them a year and they couldn't do any worse.
  11. Just registered but to have to buy into the Polish download site is no good Rapidshare is worldwide and most people have a rapidshare account. A shame otheerwise a good idea.
  12. I don't think Nicholls should even be considered for Team GB. he turned his back on the EL, we should not give him the opportunity of representing his country if he can't be arsed to ride over here. Rather use Bridger, Tai, Eddie, Harris, Richardson. At least they race in this country.
  13. Absolutely crap GP. Boring nearly all the way. The only interest generated was if the Russian won it, which he did. The old guard looked desperate and patchy. new bloodt at last in the finals. Lindgren looked good all season and I should have had an each way better on him. Doubt there were too many that backed Emil. Let's hope for a lot better in two weeks time.
  14. Looks like you have to pay for it this year. Subscription internet service.
  15. The first one was so dire I dleted it off Sky Plus after about 4 heats. the image was so bad, the cameras chopped sides every bend causing the viewer to wnder where the start line was. Just use one camera with the occassional cutaway is fine but every bend the camera "crossed the line" causing viewer problems.
  16. I watxched three heats, then went into planner and pressed delete button. Crap in the extreme.
  17. Looks fun to watch on those tiny little tracks and should compliment the Sky EL coverage.
  18. I nhave to also add my congrats to radiofremantle on an excellent online commentary and service. last year we got frustration, this year no buffering whatsoever, good clear stereo from the studio and could clearly hear commentary from the track. this must have cost a few quid to put together so well done to all involved and hopefully we can more of the same next year, albeit with a different winner! As a matter of interest, I would love to know online listening figures. Just how many people were using the online service?
  19. Actually Doyle led Adams for a lap. And Batchelor led him in another heat for half a lap. In a way this year the result was never in doubt, with Adams the clear favourite. Holder in second is as expected. A shame Doyle fell whilst in the final as his likely second would have put him clear in third. As it is he has made the two finals which is a tremendous acheivement, though looking at his injury he is unlikely to remain there. Not bad for a 4 pointer in the EL.
  20. Steve, you have to open the ulr in Windows Media player. Then a popup asks for your user and password. Put it in then press play. Good live streamiung picture.
  21. Excellent to actually watch this live for a fiver!! Good quality streaming as well. Well done to all involved. Just about to start!
  22. Off to get some sleep and be up and ready to tune in to the meetng. Being Adams home patch I doubt anyone will touch him though. 38 degrees? Its -5 here tonight!!!
  23. Adams as expected strolled it, but well done to the two Poole lads in making the final. Doyle did very well indeed for a rider many are not rating very highly in the EL in 2009. Not the best day for Noddy but still in the running. Can't see anyone touching Adams this year though.
