Apart from always preferring 2nd division racing I couldn’t agree with you more. Watching louis loram Norris standing and Howe and then Tacey lanham And nicholls blossom was fantastic. I was so looking forward to seeing drew do the same. Prospects like him come along so rarely and we have tossed it all away to prop up the top league. I’ve no enthusiasm whatsoever

I do believe buster has the best intentions. But he is alienating the fans. I can’t think of another sport where a arch rival has bought the other arch rivals and it’s flourished. Its doomed from the start. Go back 12 months and see how unhappy his own fans were with him. Buster himself said he has never liked Ipswich and I give him credit for being honest. The feeling is mutual and that’s a huge hurdle to overcome.

The lack of information is a major worry. If I’d just bought a new club I’d be engaging with my customers and trying to whip up some enthusiasm for the coming season. We are seemingly just a pawn on a chessboard waiting to be sacrificed so the king up the road can keep playing on.

I think you are spot on. Normally we know our team by now so people can purchase season tickets based on the team. I know if I owned King’s Lynn and Peterborough and Ipswich I’d have my best team for Ipswich and have great pleasure in giving Lynn a poor team. Normally I can’t wait til the new season. Not this year. It seems we have sold our soul to the devil

We had the future in watching Drew Kemp blossom and progress and now we don’t !! I shall reserve judgement til I see the full team but I have to say I’m not hopeful. I’m thankful steve Johnston and the drymls have retired otherwise they would be prime candidates

I’m pretty sure tungate won’t ride for Ipswich if Chris Louis is running the show. I have a awful feeling we will end up with Hans Andersen and Scott Nicholls both which rode for us in 2004. Purely my view not based on rumours etc. Hardly inspiring if this is the case.

I know if I owned three clubs Ipswich would be my priority and I’d have great delight in giving the other two poorer teams.

I think Lynn will sort their team first and leave Ipswich and Peterborough to pick up the scraps left after the other teams have completed their teams. I can see Ipswich having Hans Andersen as number one which he was in 2004 when he last rode for us. It won’t be holder batchelor or schlien as buster won’t employ any of those.

Unfortunately the promoters do not listen to their customers. I think the majority of fans want more fixtures with more varied opposition and to get rid of doubling up and down. None of these have been addressed properly in this years agm. How many years did it take to get rid of the double points tactical ride. I would like to have seen the championship have two home and away fixtures. Both reserves should be nl standard and protected at reserve all season. I would promote the top 22 riders from the championship and the nl standard riders would replace them. These top riders would be elevated to the premiership where they belong. I would only allow doubling up for English riders to give them more track time. Also the nl riders would be allowed to double up so they too receive more track time and keep their confidence. This plan needs to stay in place 5 years and English youngsters would find this very beneficial.

I see it as he has bought both clubs fully and has employed Rathbone and Louis as managers and promoters. Strangely the reason ged gave for giving up Peterborough was purely for time it took to travel down and to concentrate on his own business interests. So perhaps buster has brought him a jet too as now it’s no problem to Carry on
