thinking back to john cook (I maybe wrong here),im think i recall he got warnings for wheelies deemed to be "not racing"....could this apply to tai for "not racing".......anyone whose read my tai posts in past will know Im not knocking tai here, its just a question over "not racing"...any gp final should be a flat out 4 lap race?

2015 Speedway Gp Challange
ColinMills replied to OveFundinFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
agree with you again!!....Jason bunyan was another waste of time..if you have the so called "best gp riders" in town, do you really need a novice making up the numbers? need anybody pay to see bunyan or conda? instead of giving no hopers the wildcard entry, why not give a little experience tasters to riders on the brink, so it helps when/if they enter the gps? riders like sundstrom, (that's just an example) -
2015 Speedway Gp Challange

the gps weakness is, it select riders by nationality over ability..if it has to be 4 poles, so be it..if 3 poles qualify,it would mean excluding someone like hampel, you just weaken the field and quality of the competition.. -
either semi final better than todays final!!!

spot on, the pumped up music, atmosphere, views, amazing..racing??..doesn't touch torun and gorzow.. -
is this really a discussion?...the one off final fosils prefer that system, its a choice we entitled too..and your question is ALLthe gps and just 1 final? wheres sense in that question?..at least add all the qualifying crowds as well...a full Brandon british final, overseas, commonwealth, intercontinental rounds......I give you, it probably wouldnt match figure wise, but we never suffered a naff Warsaw man made track, these were cut throat cut off places as well...but ALL my point is, I would never go abroad to watch a result that's already known!....if you would, fine, go enjoy it, but its not for everyone

its not rocket science...its pretty obvious, that if the world title is wrapped up before the final round, it will obviously effect the turnout..look how many stayed away from kings lynn / Swindon this week..to some people that last fixture was pretty pointless...ALL I say,as a old fosil for one off finals is, when you turned up (like I did) in Gothenburg in 91, ALL 16 riders started with a chance of being world champion...for me (and im entitled my preference), I would never of paid for a overseas journey, had I already known the winner!!!!

Who Would Have Won The World Final Of The 1 Hit Wonders.

well im another dinosaur, maybe a age thing, im only 47 but much prefer the old system. you wouldnt have the same old, year after year..look at the different variation of riders you had in the 1 off finals...going to Melbourne when the title is already won, is pretty pointless imo....id much rather go knowing 16 riders all have 5 starts and start on equal footing, with every point vital scb says winning a gp is pretty much irrelivent..may I ask the point of Melbourne? as the gp itself is irrelivent, and the world title is already sewn up, what is the point of travelling right across the world?
