If I come over to Perry Barr to see this meeting and park on the One Stop car park, which is the best way to walk to the track? I've looked on Google but that's not much good because everywhere looks like one big building site. Presumably due to the Commonwealth Games.

It's certainly true that, initially, the track had a reputation for drying out quickly after heavy rain. I don't know if Glyn's attempts to alter the track shape to improve the racing interfered with the drainage.

The supporters presumably live a little nearer!

The match being called off has nothing to do with Leicester City v Man City in the Charity Shield being on tv or the Speedway GP being on tv then!

Looks to me if the plan is to replace Proctor. Bates then drops to reserve and gets his confidence back and, hopefully, this makes Lions stronger, especially away from home.

Kings Lynn have a guest replacement for Proctor tonight.
