  1. I think he has suffered much in the head after Darcys crash, just like Holder was affected. Holder seems to have come round a bit quicker then Batch. Time may help him, or maybe not.
  2. well then Marky, whats your view why speedway gp doesnt get on ITV4 then?
  3. when the GP goes to countries like Latvia, Czech, Italy at least there will be one rider from that country in the event therefore "local" interest would likely to be raised. BT own the TV rights for speedway GP, maybe ITV4 doesnt want to pay to show minority sports, or perhaps reluctant to show sport where the competitors are likely to swear when being interviewd, Cycling, golf, athletics etc have clean speaking competitors when being interviewed.
  4. and if Tai had not used the swear word the crowd would have still gone wild, so using the swear word added nothing to the response. adding a swear word to a sentence adds nothing at all to the meaning. and those supporters of swearing...do you swear at home in front of the wife and kids?
  5. On the basis of what Tai did on Saturday night in Cardiff after the racing but still on television, I am agreeing with robert72 - just on that point only.
  6. That "something" appears to be the length of time given to prepare the track. Since the shambles at Warsaw 2015, I think temporary tracks have had 2 weeks instead of one to be prepared. Having said that, not sure about Cardiff this year as Beyoncé had a gig in the Principality Stadium sometime the week before.
  7. No he didn't. And its only speedway that I see apologies given for bad language. Speedway could loose its tag as a family sport due to bad language.
  8. but the reserve does not get used unless one of the team of 4 gets injured. Reserve cannot be used as a rider replacement on any other grounds. So if one of the team is having an off night Robert will not get a ride.
  9. Me and the wife will be in for some good fun if Gollobesque happens on turn 3 at BV. We got tickets for the temporary seats on turn 3-4, but more precisely looking down the straight towards exit from turn 2 - so riders coming at us from turn 2 directly towards turn 3. Its where we sat at Cardiff for the last 2 years, and yes, you can see riders lining themselves up for a go on turn 3/4, especially on the last lap. Cant wait
  10. 2 more options to use in conjunction with suggestion at #46 1) stabilisers for the juniors 2) start the meeting one hour earlier to allow for "ambulance delays"
  11. Re-introduce second halves for juniors (just 4 heats), except put them on first so the dirt has moved around a bit and therefore when the "new" second half starts ie the main match, the racing will be good from heat 1.
  12. lay this to rest once and for all.......... I only wish!
  13. Plenty of seats in the temporary seating (to be erected) on turn 3 and 4 as stated above, but for "seniors" I see that prices are £45 each for the two meetings ie Fri and Sat - still a bargain, especially as the Fri evening is likely to be as closely fought as the Sat evening final.
  14. Maybe if he wins the final in September he will get a wild card to the speedway GP next year.
  15. Why hold him back? He has the talent, give him encouragement along with the chances.
  16. Pressure is on Zmarzlick to finish in the top 8 in the GP series so he can be in the GP series next year.
  17. Oh Well............ Oh well the meeting only went to 3 rides each, if it had gone to full time it may well have been Well Done!
  18. Dudek is a class act. I hope he qualifies through the SGP qualifier and is in next years GP series proper. I already predicted somewhere on this forum that he will qualify for next years GP's and will finish around 6th-8th in the series.
  19. Just as the EU referendum become to be a big bore and everythig to be said was said over again, its exactly the same with this thread. Everyone has had a say, all the for and against viewpoints have been expressed over and over, its become a bore. And just like the EU referendum has caused serious divisions amongst those from both sides (a young person on tv this morning blaming his gran "who has only couple years before she dies" had voted leave and ruined his future), so has this thread caused divisions - which is absolutely wrong. This forum is a place for opionions and open debate.... its obviously gone far too far when members start throwing insults at each other. Ttimhasa long passed when this thread should have been locked.
  20. Really enjoyed the meeting in Prague last night once the track was raced on a few times. I have said IMO Chris Harris has had 2 seasons too long in the GP's, but last night he was in the best races of the meeting and deserved his third place. Well done to Jason, but Hancock at his age is just amazing.
  21. The race off on the Friday could well be the equivalent to a final. Makes the price of the "two nights of speedway" ticket an absolute bargain.
  22. Injured badly 12 months ago, not ridden (competitively) since, given a permanent wild card for the 2016 GP's, not taken his spot, come this Saturday will be the 4th time (more then 33%) GP that the series first reserve, Freddie Lindgren has replaced him.. Question 1 - is it fair on Hample to expect him to qualify in the top eight this year for next years GP series, given the fact after Saturday there are just 7 GP's left. Last year Peter Kildemand replaced Hample for the last 9 GP's, rode splendidly but still didn't qualify in the top 8. Question 2 - is it fair on Freddie Lindgren, that with 3 GP's completed this season he is in with a good chance to qualify by right for next years GP's, that should Hample be declared fit for the 5th GP (Cardiff) that Freddie should be back as first reserve. Personally, I would stand Hample down this year from the GP's, and offer him a wild card for 2017 GP series. Meawhile Freddie would carry on this years series and go for qualifying in the top 8 for next year. Whats your views??
  23. Well Riss and Berge did well to get their from Kings Lynn Saturday night/nearly Sunday morning. Obviously ompletely different machines, but still got to get there - private plane?? Or does Norwich airport serve Germany.
