Should the totally unexpected happen and GB win the SWC with Tai scoring a maximum, will all you Tai knockers be saying what a "Bonzer Bloke" Tai Woffinden is?.

Well...pardon me all over the place Seriously though I meant no offence, but I thought expressing a point of view was what this forum was about .

What does it matter if Tai had a lead over Emil at the time of Emil's accident?. F!...a few GP's ago Rosberg led Hamilton by 43 points. Now Hamilton is leading. All sport has its ebbs and flows but I am sticking to my belief that Emil would have won had he remained injury free.

How many times do we hear riders say "The track was totally different from practice", even if practice was the day before. Practice on a track 5 days before the event must have limited value when so many factors can influence the way the track rides come race day.

The same for me with West Ham. I never supported a team or attended league meetings once the mighty Hammers were gone.

Had Emil not been injured the year he started the GP season in such great form, he would have won the title. I have no doubt. I also have no doubt that had he remained injury free and competed in the GP series every year since, he would have won again. I might also be so bold as to suggest Tai may not have won one title yet alone two with Emil as a constant rival.

Sorry, but I do feel 4th. is what we will achieve...3rd. if luck goes our way. It gives me no pleasure to say it mind...the winning GB teams of yesteryear are now a distant memory.

Greg is rarely beaten once he gets in front but was strangely lacklustre tonight.

Hard to argue with that assessment. Bomber always gives 100% but his inconsistency is worrying.

I've been a fan of Harris for a long time and defended him on this forum on more than one occasion. But...his inconsistency is so frustrating. If the SWC team was 7 riders he would have to be in, but he would be a gamble for a 4 man team.

Does anyone know if the Speedway Star SWC issue is going to be a larger than usual edition, and will it go to press with the teams for the race off having been included?.
