Thats a lot of words to say, "Lakeside speedway is a secret society". Why not actually tell people then there would be no need for rumours would there?

All those who think One Sport are wonderful must surely be questioning it now though? Thats todays meeting where until they last minute they have been naming Woffy and they did it in the SEC meeting 18 months ago when it was obvious he wasn't going to ride but they announced him as riding until the last minute. Seems they are bad at misleading the fans as any other speedway promotion.

And we wondered why the BSPA/SCB wanted nothing to do with it. It seems our riders just couldn't give a crap. All too happy to make an easy living out of league speedway to push themselves and better them selves in this kind of competition.

The thing is, you're buggered. Because your top 5 is fine, it's your reserves, you're losing 10 points a meeting to the opposition at 6 and 7.

Having seen Lakeside ride in steady drizzle on Monday and last year at Lakeside I'd say it's a massive concern to Lakeside, as Nilsson aside they looked pants both times (mind you, last year Watt was one of them)

Coventry and Lakeside have dropped Zagar, did Birmingham ever get to that point?

I was trying to work out the likelihood of that happening to Hans - I just don't see it. He ended last year with some really big scores so unless he averages sub-6.5 all season he's unlikely to drop to second string.

I understood you - and from afar agreed with you but some seem to be being pedantic, which is hardly a shock is it

And they have to consider they run the last meeting on a wet track and called it off after 10 heats - do that 2 meetings in a row and you'd seriously upset people.

What gets me, was when we were at Leicester last month they seemed to take great delight in telling us, "the interval will be after heat 10 today" and "we'll be having the interval after the next heat" and just constantly informing us of the interval. It was almost as if we had gone to the speedway for the interval! Took nearly 2 an a half hours to run that meeting.

Lakeside got 3rd pick after Leicester and Wolves. Wolves had already picked Blackbird by the time it got to Lakeside.

It made me laugh when they announced last week that ticket for the end of season dinner and dance would be on sale this week - Are things really that bleak?!
