Swindon Robins Vs Poole Pirates 3/4/15
SCB replied to Steve0's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Coventry also told it was definitely on, only for it to not be. When will clubs learn. "It's still on" is a statement of fact", "it's definitely on" - well, it's a lie when it eventually gets called off isn't it? -
Which is the same as the UK too sadly. Sounds as if GB and NZ speedway will both die in the next 20-30 years then.

I would imagine it falls under 16.1.3 -
Why not go with r/r and use Cam Heeps as #8?

if the BSPA had any sense each heat would be weighted based on its strength to give a fair and proper average. -
ARGH! I swear the management have booked a guest to piss us off after the majority voiced their displeased on Monday. Why the hell have we booked a 4.5 PL guest when we have a 7.00 PL rider who can take 3 of the rides and a 6.5 EL rider who can take another?

She'll be dead soon as I hear she's holder her breathe waiting for Darcys statement!

Speedway Star Season Preview Special Best Ever

It's a lie. It's libel. I post a positive comment and then you say I'm always negative and thats a fact. Do you not see how stupid that is? Having a dig at someone being positive because they're "always negative" -

It seems that way. Not sure why we all thought we couldn't :s I wonder if it is/was one of the many supplementary regulations. -

I didn't think personal abuse was allowed on here? -
Where the hell is Darcys statement?! I'm beginning to worry now that he may have lead us all down the garden path with his excuses and reasoning and the FIM are 100% correct. Oh how stupid will I look. Oh no, sorry, I forgot for a second. I didn't believe all his bull anyway!

You cannot use an EL guest for a double upper, it's PL guests only. So I'm guessing Poole have not redeclared with Josh in but are instead going to use him as a guest for Watt when he's available. -

I'm confused. Who is Schlein guesting for? -
They'll never get anywhere with this attitude. Don't they know the correct response is, "if you don't like it thne you know what to do right? Stay away." Giving the fans what they want, fools!

King's Lynn V Lakeside Tues 31st Sky 7.30
SCB replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I never murdered anyone either but I know it's bad to do it. I also cannot design and build a car but I know a Kia Picanto is rubbish compared to a Lotus Elise. TBH, you don't need to know anything about track to know if meetings are crap. -
I put it down to one reason and 1 alone. People making things up. Pet theories that hold no water when challenged with numbers. So far nobody has been able to prove that have more injuries. When I said I had initial numbers that proved we didn't but would fine tune them to remove doubling up rider missing meetings I was told to stick my stats (basically I was told they don't fit my theory so I don't want them). Some people don't seem to grasp how to use numbers. They do what an old boss of mind used to do. He come to us and say, "I think that more green car crash, prove this" when what he should have done is come to us and asked "what colour car crashes most" and we could have told him. Thats what we have on this thread, my old boss, "we have loads of injuries, prove it" rather than, "How many injuries do we have now compared to in the past" In 1994 up to this point in the season (April 1st) 7 riders had withdrawn from a meeting due to injury. For far in 20015 10 riders have withdrawn from meetings in the UK due to injury. 4 of them at Kings Lynn in 2 meeting and one of them was a re-occurrence of an injury from one of them other meetings) So thats 2 more actual rider injured extra compared to 1994. It's hardly indicative of things getting really bad as some would have you believe.

No facilities for riding riding in this, so Holder and North will both be at Coventry the night before.

Wolves has been my #1 EL track for a long time. And before Peterborough dropped down that was #2. Two completely contract yet almost equally brilliant tracks. These days It's Wolves, Poole (even with it's bumps, as at last there is racing/passing) and BV as the top 3 (BV has come on loads the last 2 seasons) while Lynn has probably slumped into the bottom 4 with Coventry, Leicester and Lakeside. Leaves Swindon in 4th as a pretty average and run of the mill track that can be both brilliant and naff on any given day. -
I said it a few weeks back when he signed but have the Bees management put JK at #2? I maintain a Hans/JK heat 1 pairing should put fear into the opposition as we should be looking at 4-2s and 5-1s in every heat 1. It should certainly be done against Leicester who themselves have Doyle and Schlein in heat 1 so will be looking for a 5-1 themselves. If you're 5-1 down after the first race it's a big blow.

It's laughable isn't. The sport isn't for the riders, it's for the fans. We're constantly told the riders do it for the fans (HaHa!) but now we're being told it's done for the riders. Well fine, make the tracks for the riders, lets the riders love it and the fans hate it.The fans will stop going, the riders will have to stop being paid and we'll see how many speedway meeting there are then! To some extent I agree. Lambert, as I have said else where just seemed to take the poor track in his stride and I don't think he once put a wheel wrong - it was an superb performance. But Ellis made a few mistakes and Morris didn't exactly look comfortable and looked to me like a guy who was hanging on for dear life - what I will say about young Morris though is in the past I've critisized him for the fact I had never seen him move from thje kerb - he spent almost every lap mid-track to wide yesterday. -
