Wolves V Coventry Monday 30th March
SCB replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
At least theres some justification for it. I think you have misjudged this one though. The odds of injury vs the odds of Doolan scoreing points. Doolan will get 3 or 4. If a rider does, possible get injured and replaced by a reserve he may get 0. But what are the odds of someone getting injured vs Doolan scoring well? -
WOW - thats a great argument. You may as well say, "I often post knowing I'm wrong". Yes, you're right, everything, thats 100% or everything I post I believe to be true (well, apart from the sarcasm and I do a lot of that). Anyone who doesn't believe what they're saying is a troll and not worthy of discussion/debate. I shall add you to the list of trolls who have come out with this line an admitted they sometimes post lies and after this post never again converse with you.

Kevin Doolan?! When Garrity could have had 3 of the rides and Kylmo 1 of them? Madness. -
Another one with great debating skills. Seriously, explain where. Because so far both you and starman think I talk rubbish but have not explained where.
-
So I can listen to starmans definition, or that of many on-line dictionaries. "Caused or influenced by intoxication." "having a level of alcohol in the blood that exceeds a maximum prescribed by law" And it's not a Coventry rider is it, it's Darcy again. And you lot have been peddled and subsequently peddled yourself so many lies and half truths. So how intoxicated was he? You tell us not enough to be "drunk", depending on the starman definition of "drunk" you could be right, he wasn't. If by drunk you mean have just downed 10 pints in the last 4 or 5 hours. But to the rest of us drunk means having ANY alcohol in your body. We also don't know what the reading was on this "fake" or "dodgy" testing kit - it could have said he'd just downed a bottle of Jack Daniels - you don't know any more than any of us.

Rye House V Somerset Lc 7pm 28th March.
SCB replied to Dave Stummings's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Looking at result I thought Jakobsen would get his 7 - it looks like he's going to smash 7 now though. If/when Bowen gets going I can see plenty of 60+ home wins. -
It's not rubbish. But if thats the extend of your debating skills then I'm happy to leave it there. I have justified my point and back it up - while you have just dismissed it, which says it all.
-
Iversen has looked slow all night but when it mattered he pulled a ride out the bag. Class. Then there's Hampel. The opposite. That's why he'll never be World Champion.

King's Lynn V Poole, Elite Shield, 26/03/15
SCB replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
who were you talking to? Steve Hones partner? -
Great ride from Doyle there. Said for years he was going to be good. 2nd and 3rd beats 1st and 4th if the semis and final are a draw right?
-
It's not a stage remark. A tribunal (be it sport or employment) has to be balance of probabilities. Eg would the average person believe it to be true. Only in a court of law does it have to be beyond reasonable doubt. Civil vs criminal law. Check it out. Starman - under the influence of alcohol. So half a shandy with your lunch = drunk.
-
Holder looks scared, just ruined an Aussie 5-1 by shutting off
-
It's irrelvant. It was a tribunal that Darcy had so it's only balance of probabilities. Technically they don't need a test if they can find half a dozen people to say he was drunk. It's not like a court of law.

Anyone got, or know where I can get the lines ups for this meeting? edit > got ti from the race card on the previous page

Coventry Bees V Wolves Friday 27th March
SCB replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No. No rider who has raced EL this season or last in a top 5 fits. In simple terms, anyone on this list who has an average of 7.56 or less. http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl15_issue_1.pdf (but not Howarth or Richie Worrall) -

Summers doesn't fit. TBH, the options are not great, we have to have someone with a sub 7.5 PL average so you may as well use R/R and give Garrity 3 rides as his PL average is 7 anyway, theres not many riders between Garrity and Robbo in the PL averages. Unless we fancy giving Brady Kurtz his EL debut?! -

Nobody has denied that but you pointed out the Bees missed Robbo but failed to mention Wolves missed Blackbird. -

Didn't expect that to be that close but I think thats more down to PK being bloody awesome rather than the Bees not being as good as I thought. A wins a win though these days. -

BBC WM tweeted that there coverage online here, http://www.bbc.co.uk/wm but I cant find any link to it. ANyone?! -
With the signing of Kylamkorpi I'll stick Coventry in 2nd and shuffle everyone down 1. Already looking dodgy after the Lynn/Poole EL Sheild.

The correct one. He is on a converted PL average as per the rules (but that conflicts with Palm Toft at Peterborough! One or t'other is incorrect) -
Official Averages - Nothing On Bspa Site?
SCB replied to krompa's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
1. Official averages mean nothing - look at Peterboroughs team. Official legal but it's not, it breaks the rules. 2. You cannot complain about a line up on race night, you have to do it before hand. -
Wayne Rooney has not done too badly in life but if he's the target we should all be aiming for in the stupidity stakes then we're doomed as a species. I probably earn more than you do too if we're going to play that game.

Sheffield Vs Scunthorpe Lc 26/03/2015
SCB replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe it's nothing more than all the riders sat down and discussed set-ups, what works best etc and all come to the same conclusion. They have to have their bikes done by someone (could be themselves) so why not Ash Holloway? Steady has used him for a few years now and Bates was using him last season as for Ty Proctor. That leaves Bellego, Birks, Compton and Sissis. Sissis as a novice was probably happy to listen to those at the club as to whats best to use.
