  1. No idea if this link works but here is a photo of how the "stadium" looks these days!
  2. Fair enough. I see Mitchell Davey also has the same thing. I wonder if we'll see him back at number 7 in a PL team soon now
  3. So how the hell does Ricky Wells get it then? He's not married is he?
  4. Rider get the 2.5% reduction off their first 3 averages. This is his 3rd season of PL racing so he gets a reduction this year and next.
  5. Just said what I was going to post but far more eloquently
  6. If I was Redcar I'd be having a word and asking will they at least make him available for home meeting. He'd miss Somerset away in May but could ride at Plymouth as Lakeside have no meeting. He'd miss Edinburgh away but I'd write that off anyway, I don't see anyone getting much at Edinburgh. But he's free tor ride at Edinburgh in the KOC if they make it. Lakeside have no meeting when Redcar are at Somerset either but eh would miss Scunthorpe in the league. Looks like very few clashes at all if Lakeside agree to let him ride at Redcar when they're at Swindon - as it stands, there is only one clash there too. As the second time Lakeside are at Swindon, Redcar have a blank that week at home. Adam would start in the 1-5 at Redcar.
  7. So have a rubbish rider 100% of the time. Or have a decent one 75% of the time but have to use a rider whos not so good the other 25%? No brainer for me.
  8. You look at that 4 and then you look at Adam Ellis and you wonder what he has to do to get a job. He's better than all 4 of them IMO.
  9. That would blow the mind of most speedway fans though. Most promoters too!
  10. I think Penny Cross was making the point at non-Brits shouldn't be in the NL and the rule is crap. Not that Eastbourne have broken any rule. It seems odd that at a time where Aussies are being kicked out of the PL for not being good enough we're letting foreigners into the NL.
  11. But, only if 16.5.1 A Team may utilise a "Facility" to cover the absence of a Rider(s) who: A is on FIM World Speedway Championship duty. B is engaged elsewhere at a BSPA shared or fee Meeting. C is recalled by his own FMN in accordance with the FIM ISLB Regulations. D has been injured whilst speedway racing, Within 48 hours of the injury occurring, if no evidence is available, a Medical Certificate must be sent to the SCB; failure to do so will result in the mandatory suspension of the Rider’s SCB Registration for the next home fixture. NB. The BSPA MC cannot overrule the suspension. E is sick or carrying a non-speedway injury for which a Medical Certificate must be supplied to the SCB within 48 hours of the sickness / injury occurring in which case the Rider may only return within 7 days (including his Team’s next home Meeting) with the express permission of the MC. However failure to provide a Certificate will nevertheless result in the mandatory suspension of the Rider’s SCB Registration for the next home fixture. NB. The BSPA MC cannot overrule the suspension. F has been suspended by the FIM, ACU, SCB or Rider’s FMN. G is in dispute with his Club, provided that the circumstances have been accepted by the MC, who will determine the Facility and period of the Rider’s inactivity. H is on FIM Longtrack Championship duty (for the day of the Meeting only; no facility is permitted for practice day). I being a PL Rider whose own FMN does not have a current Agreement with the BSPA and is competing in another National League or Open Meeting. This will result in the Rider’s SCB Registration being suspended for 1 (one) season and the Team will be automatically granted a facility for a maximum period of 28 days, after which they must re-declare. J is awaiting medical clearance from the Riders FMN. K is absent for any other reason (applicable to the NL only) I'm not denying that the BSPA MC can allow a facility. You're right, they can but not for any old reason, it still has to be for one of the 11 reasons listed. Not having a work visa is not a valid reason for having a facility. Tsunami mentions Andrew Tully being a precedent, that was allowed under 16.5.1 D as above. So, for 16.5.2, the rule you have quoted to be allowed, Ryan Fisher needs to have been in a declared 1-7. As I see it, he's not. Plymouth will be announcing a 1-7 with him in it knowing he's not available. That rule suggests that it's allowed if a 1-7 is declared with the BSPA and THEN something goes wrong.
  12. The point he's making is that I (along with najjer) said they wouldn't get visas - and they haven't. So sometimes at least we DO know more than the promoters who lewy is telling us we should trust.
  13. Where as I'd be more prone to say it was which ever member of the Coventry management sack MJJ!
  14. Rusty Harrison doesn't have a visa. So I was right.
  15. I don't think anyone, no matter how much thinking they do has ever been able to work out the reason you say anything you do so it's not going to start now.
  16. I'm not the one who is confused. I grasp the concept of a 25 year old NOT being under 25. I grasp that not having a visa to work in this country doesn't constitute any of the following reasons thus doesn't allow a facility for said rider... Maybe the Plymouth promotions has the follow line scrawled on there in red wax crayon, "L when work visas have been screwed up"
  17. You really think Wolves would agree to that? They'd be mad to. If he's riding for Peterborugh then one of two things is true. He is owned by Ipswich/Louis or CVS has gone mad.
  18. Which suggests he's an Ipswich asset. If he's Mildenhalls, then Wolves can claim priority if they like.
  19. I just think down at Plymouth they're winging it. They don't seem to know what they're doing which just confuses people!
  20. There isn't one. He's making it up. Just like they have a number 7 who cannot ride PL and NL. And I've yet to read/hear how Holder can get a work permit/visa too. I'd take most of what he says and ignore it.
  21. No. No facility. It's a clubs responsibility to make sure they sign rider who are available!
  22. Pretty sure you can't just use a guest because the rider is not available.
  23. Right. Correct. So now explain how that's me?I have never been sent home from work drunk and suspended. I have never suggesting that the rules that I am being punished using are unfair or that the people whos rules they are are haters. I have never suggested that I will continue to break the rules but will just try harder to cover it up next time. I'm not sure I have ever condemned anyone for jumping a red light. And do you know the outcome of the case where I was accused of jumping a red light?
