Might be the same stadium but it's possible they don't open it all for the dogs. TBH when Ive been to Brandon for the dogs you'd have only needed room for 150 people - tops. I'm guessing they don't allow people outside - TBH there no advantage to being outside for the dogs. But I agree, to suggest Coventry could/should have a GP ahead of the Millennium Stadium is utter madness.
-
For the dogs maybe. I'm sure it's 8,000 at Brandon.

In which case the EL clubs should say no doubling up. The let the riders choose.
-
So now the people running this are trolling people? What a wonderful professional bunch. Just proves what some of us have been saying - wrong people for the job.
-
Hang on. You call the EL the "guests and r/r" league and say if it goes the PL will be better as it won't have guests and r/r. So are both leagues not full of guests and r/r?

Its not the Eurosport way, they just do as live. So we'll miss the first 3 or 4 heats, -
I dont see the issue. Every club was viable as they didnt spend more than they earned while the proactive clubs who went out and got sponsorship kept the good riders.

You ride for the county who issued your passport. Licenses have nothing to do with it. TBF, he didn't exactly shine in the U21 World Cup did he? I'm sure I read at some point in the past that Daddy Laguta was a wanted man and as such it puts a black mark against the whole family. -
MJJ has a World Under 21 title and a GP win. When the "chasing pack" can match that we can start talking about them over taking him - until then they're still chasing.

The condition is known as "speedway fan" - speedway fans HAVE to fill in a programme. weird bunch

If it's a Worrall you want it's Steve not Richie. -
I fund Greg pretty dull but the guy has no need to retire just yet. He's still doing it better than anyone else in the sport - fair play.

World Cup Qualifier Terenzano July 5th

Emil and the Lagutas didnt race in last years SWC. It seems the Russian federation make the SCB/ACU look competent. Plus as we know, money talks and I don't think the Russians get paid enough to ride in the SWC. -
I'm going to estimate now but I'd be amazed if Wards programmed rides didn't yield a similar (if not higher) average than Tais did over the last 2 seasons.

Konopka is crap and will never amount to anything and while an asset is worth a pint and a pie. Crang while having to pay a loan fee each year if looked after would have hung around at Redcar for a few years until he was too god for the PL (which using Craig Cook as a "worst case scenario) is another 5 years at least) but would likely improve in time.

You might have a point is the next GP thats in an indoor stadium with a one off track was not the highest attended GP of the year, every year, by a long way. Death knell? Cardiff and Copenhagens attendances are something that could have only been dreamed off pre-2001.

You'd have thought BSI would have just made up there own rules. Just like they did when they gave Andreas Jonsson Jason Crumps place in stead of Troy Batchelors as the rules stated and then to rub salt into Troys wounds they gave Ales Dryml the 1st reserve spot too!!

Finished 6th (joint 5th) in the World one season, 9th (joint 7th) in another. Was 2 places short of qualifying one season and had there been no such thing as a wildcard he would have qualified that year. so there's my 3. And he qualified for this year (however dodgy) so thats 4.

If Vaculik and Nicki P would like to drop out too that would be nice edit - Not being vindictive. I've bet on Emil to win. -
Scott Nicholls in Italy. Two wins and 3 lasts and had to be called back out of the changing room for the semis. edit - it was 2005

But thats a related bet. Once he had won his first ride all them odds would have at least halved. By the time he'd done his 2nd ride they're have all halved again. once he'd won his 3rd ride his odds to win any heat would not have been great. I make that about 800/1 then. So the bookie offering 1000/1 is being generous.
