  1. Anyone who cannot open it can download Excel viewer 2003 I have locked the cells to stop people trying to go through each heat and changing the riders themselves and screwing up the format. If you go to the very top where the countries are, you can change the country name and the 6 names under that. Only thing you need to do them is put the score in the heat details and if necessary a riders name in a the substitute column. Make sure the substitutes name is spelt EXACTLY the same as it is on the riders score chart up the top. Incidentally, it's not last years, it now has room for reserves
  2. So it does, it's just taken me 10 minutes to find it even after you said it was there.
  3. Agree with this. I'm not Middlos biggest fan by a long way, I'd have not picked Ed for the Coventry round pre-David Howe injury but I'll still give every one of them by backing on the day and will give them all my support in the final, regardless of how capable I think the management are. Can they win it? It'll be bloody hard but I think they can. He also messes up tactically every year. I can't argue how good Middlo is in the pits, never seen him in there but tactically he is inept. Get Tim Sugar in to do that job and leave Middlo as team motivator.
  4. What time does the meeting start? Despite my dummy spitting yesterday after event 1 I have changed my mind and will be coming up for this now but nowhere seems to show the start time
  5. It is. Well it was on the leaflet at the the stadium a couple of months ago. lus the see ticket site says "OAP/Child" as £10, students tend to get the OAP price at speedway. Certainly do at Coventry.
  6. I thought Holder put himself about a fair bit and deserved his rides. Australia were never going to win it and never going to come 4th so stick him in for the ride. Plus you can only bring the reserve in if the other rider is injured.
  7. You don't need it, the cells you need to fill in are unlocked.
  8. You can do that at a few British tracks after the race. Its' generally only tracks with stock car or dog tracks that prevent you doing it. They have the 2 metre barrier that spectators have to stand behind during the heats.
  9. Dire, pathetic, abysmal, shocking. Thats just the intelligence of the riders not the state of the track. There one line, so what do the riders do? Keep going wide. Chris Holder is the only rider out there to work out where he needs to be when chasing down. Also, why is Rory Schlein the only rider to be excluding for going over the line? On the same bend Rory did it, Walasek did it, Walasek did it in his next heat and Puk did it in one of his heats. Rorys may have been more obvious but other riders are doing it too. And the track? I don't think I need to comment. Thanks BSI, I was wondering if I was going to go to the Coventry round due to my lack of funds, I think I'll save the £30 and stay home and watch it as even if it's 10 time better than this dirge it'll be waste of money! "Tomasz Gollob having his ride for the night" as he goes form 3nd to 3rd and then a lap later also gets passed by Kauko Niemanen! God bless Tony Millard!
  10. No comment It confused me too until some nice person showed me what to do!
  11. here. Theres one you can fill in at the computer and it adds everything up for you and theres one thats smaller so you can print it off. Just stick the names up the top and it fills in the heats. All the cells you don't need to change are locked to stop people breaking it.
  12. Most people will be close to Wenceslas Square TBH, it's the tourist part. If you're too far out it's not so good (or at least doesn't look it) and you'd not want to go much further than you can walk. It's a tram ride from the tourist part/centre to the stadium. But as a tram/metro/bus pass is so cheap, you may as well pick on up when you get there for the length of your stay. It's about £6 for a week, £5 for 3 days and £2 for a day or 50p for 75 minutes. Get the 3 or 7 day pass and when ever you want to go anywhere you can be lazy and jump on a tram It's tram 22 to Vypich (according to the Prague clubs website), on the day, jump on the tram and follow the crowd Plenty of speedway fans on there, a great atmosphere on the way back to the centre after the meeting and some great conversations to be had with the Poles You may want to try and get to practice on the Friday (3pm) as your own practice for getting to the stadium.
  13. Mediocre is not as good as half decent. Yes, he beat him in on race and he did fall behind him if you consider that to be "whilst trying to pass" TBH, I can see why he's in ahead of Olly, but he should never have been in ahead of David Howe at Coventry. Academic now. I've said all along that Ed should be in for Poland. Will I stop moaning about Middlo? No, because hes made mistakes every year, he can't take them back now, they've happened. I can think of one year he got everything right from rider choice to tactics was the year the final as in Denmark and he used Barker and Norris which I will admit were risks that paid off and for that year he deserve a lot of praise (and I gave it at the time too) It's no good constantly worrying about the future, as todays future will be tomorrows present, you'll then drop today future and use the next batch of youngsters so never actually using the riders when they're capable You have to use what you have now. I do agree with going with someone younger if there's not much in it, but not Louis/King difference!! King could not score on a good day at Brandon what Louis would on a bad day. Would I? So to turn it around, how good do I look after Fridays meeting when Ed was rubbish and beat 2 riders? Do you think David Howe would have done that? Simon would have still been in the team too, as I've said all along I'd pick Harris, Nicholls, Richardson (whos off form apparently ), Stead and Howe with Olly or Ed at reserve. As it is now, I'd probably have the team Middlo has defaulted due to Davids injury.
  14. Who care what they do on there home tracks, it what they do at Brandon thats important while Olly can only beat "half decent riders", Ed can only beat mediocre riders there, David Howe can beat decent riders and Louis can in one heat beat superb riders there and in another meeting lose to some pretty poor riders! Nobody has argued that Kennett rides Poland good/bad. In fact, most have agreed that he should be in the 1-5 in Poland (find me a post anywhere that says different). King around Coventry? HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, I notice Steady is proving he deserves his place in the SWC at Coventry!!! He's beat Nicholls, Allen and Harris in his first 2 heats (as a Team GB fans) (as a Coventry fan).
  15. 4 years (with a year out, so had to pay adult prices last season ), only have until the middle of October to be a student, then my student card expires
  16. 2 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. Same road as Tescos.
  17. £10, same as concessions. So I get in for the same price as an EL meeting so I'll have nobody complaining about the cost as BSI have set the most iportant price correctly
  18. One of the best meetings I have been to atmosphere wise was the SWC round at Swindon a few years ago. So I'm looking forward to going.
  19. I know it's a double post and against the rules but I didn't want people who asked to miss this. SWC race card here Theres one that fills it in for you if you put the team name and riders in the top score chart, then you only have to fill it he heat details. Theres also a printable score chart if you select the printable tab towards the bottom, again, fill the names in at the top and it sorts the heats out for you. I've protected both of the sheets to stop people breaking them, if you find any errors let me know
  20. I have one, but not at this computer, if people can wait until Friday, I can get it. Until then, you can hope someone who has downloaded it in the last couple of years has a copy that they can put online.
  21. I did Hampel was not a bad bet, without the benefit of hindsight of course!
  22. Some of us said from the start of the year we expected him to do well at Cardiff as he'd love the ruts and would use them to his advantage. Guess what? He did
  23. Olly Allen, as I've been saying for weeks now. He may not have been great last night but he is a lot better than Ed at Coventry. I guess if we picked the best option form a point scoring POV it would probably be Chris Louis but I think we need a youngster in there who may just use the meeting to step up a level (a la Floppy). However, I'd definatly use Ed in Poland, no doubt about that.
  24. Me Plenty of Coventry regulars going who post on here, plus a few who dont' post on here.
  25. Yeah, because Eddie Kennett made us fans look bloody stupid tonight. Oh no, that was Middlo who was made to look stupid when the guy he has picked to ride in a World class meeting scored 3+1 at the track the meeting is taking place at.
