Actually, he did that in 2004 with Eastbourne Other than that, a spot on post, one which the majority of people probably agree with. Despite my reservations about him being in the GB team at Coventry I agree with it, Ed is a special talent with plenty of track craft, his ability to find drive on a slick track is amazing, he just need to learn to cope with piles of dirt on bigger tracks. Not something that should hold him back in the GPs though, they don't have a lot of dirt on the tracks!

We normally see better racing in 15 heats at Coventry than we saw in 25 last night, so Ole must have been involved! OK it was betetr than Vojen but only for those who did not fall asleep or turn off half way through.

Just watched the replay (I get on tele a couple of times, so anyone wanting an autograph in the next few only has to ask ) and how lucky was Jonas when eh was on his joker? Firstly he was 3rd when all hell broke lose to get the re-run and secondly, he crashed as Kerr crashed yet got back in the re-run. I wonder if those at the trakc who look at me in astonishment when I pointed out only Chris Kerr was excluded will realise I was right with the benefit of the same replay?!

He deserves his own thread. I doubted Middlos use of him tonight at Coventry, but midldo was proved right, Ed did a great job. All 5 deserve there share of credit but for me Ed was the suprise packet, he did what he'd never done before and had a good meeting at Coventry, so well done to him I was pleased to be proved wrong

Maybe they should be called "South of England plus 1"? Maybe USA should have been called California in the past (possibly still the case). Berk! It's because if someone from Scotland or Wales were good enough then they'd be eligable and the ACU is the governing body of GB and thats who they're representing, when Wales and Scotland can enter their own team, then they can be called England.

So even fi Team GB go 6 behind in the SWC final and Chris Harris, who's on a maximum in his weakest heat of the night is not put on a joker, he goes out and win it and then Team GB lose the final by a point or 2 you'd expect him to keep the job?
