Nobody knows. Even if they have given him the 8% a year injury reduction that's 5.20 x 1.4 = 7.28. But he hasn't been out injured for two seasons as he's been riding on the continent (albeit it very little)

I got blocked for congratulating them on telling Swindon their team was illegal!!
-
1998. Matt Ford bought Poole.

Last 10 meetings, with or without bonus points see Woffinden over 2 points better than Joonas Kylmakorpi. 2 points is two more for you and two less for the opposition plus 0.25 of a point in heat 15 more and less. That's a 4.5 swing per meetings so a 9 point swing over two legs. http://speedway-stats.co.uk/RiderForm/15/2016/1

So which clubs have the best online presence? For me Glasgow and Ipswich seem to be the best two. The Ipswich website is spot on IMO. While Glasgow really do make the most of social media (Ipswich don't do a bad job either tbf). Glasgow even have an iPhone app!

KK averaged more in the second half of the season and on his last 5 meetings than he did in the first half of the season. So that's figures don't tie in with your opinion/view on that one! Another interesting comparison with Hans/Lambert. Last 15 meetings, so all as heat leader. Lambert is a point higher away from home! http://speedway-stats.co.uk/RiderForm/15/2016/1

Actually think you could pick any three riders as top 3 and make a case for it.
-
With bonus points 7.27 vs 6.95 in favour of Hans. So would agree very little in it tbf.
-
Yeah, that was my take days ago. Now I think there's something more dodgy going on. If it was a technical issue it should have been sorted.
-
Was it in an article written by someone who works for the Bournmouth Echo? As they keep repeating this, "fact".
-
£4000 for an engine you can use out of the box and doesn't need any tuning. Can only be good surely? Should be pretty easy to sell on if it doesn't work for a rider too.
-
Skornicki and Greaves complete the team. It's a bloody good team too - at home at least. Bottom 3 a bit suspect away from home. Can someone explain why if Skornickis last average was 6.14 why his average is 7.22 and not 8.59?
-
Emil, Doyle and Pawlicki top 3.
-
11 months older than Lambert and only average a point more in the NL than Lambert did in the EL. If Lamberts gating is poor then Shanes has no words to describe his!
-
I think some people often forget how young Robert Lambert is. Myself included. His gating at times is terrible for a rider of his level but I bet compared to every other 19 year old in the World he's still top 3 gaters.
-
It'll be technical issue. To do what they have on purpose would have been more hassle than just deleting the whole site. Probably just a messed up back up. Wouldn't read anything into it. What does purposely taking the website back to April achieve?
-
Ive been thinking. Tai is clearly upset the British fans won't get to see him so he'll obviously be riding in the British Final. And in the SWC at Kings Lynn. Wouldn't want to upset the fans!

My favourite story was back when I worked for Corus. Showing some Swedish visitors around and they asked, "why the cages around all the machinery?" to which the H&S manager proudly proclaimed, "Health and safety, it stops our workers getting their hand caught in the machinery. We've won award for it". The Swedes looked back very bemused and said, "We don't have H&S in Sweden, we have common sense. Who would be stupid enough to put their hands in working machinery? And what happens when it breaks down? It must take ages to remove all them cages to get it fixed".
-
And how exactly would British Speedway lose out if he does that? As it is, he won't get paid for riding for Australia and he won't get a testimonial for the Australian league so he doesn't gain anything switching either.
-
News just in. Tomasz Gollob has been awarded a 20 year testimonial as 2017 will be the 20th season since he signed for Ipswich!
-
So the buggers at the the BSPA turned down Tai Woffindens request for a 10 year testimonial. Why? Maybe because he's only managed 8.25 seasons in the last 10 seasons! Maybe if he rode in 2017 and 2018 they're be happy to gloss over it not being 10 consecutive seasons but my God, he's pushing his luck and the complain about it.... Well!!! If CVS wanted him to have a meeting that much and Tai wants to ride in a meeting over here that much then why not just let him promote his own one off "Tai Woffinden spectacular" at Wolves anyway? Just pay tax on it.
-
Why? He did it last season after breaking his neck. The guy has had more injuries that pretty much the rest of the GP series combined but still managed to beat them all last season. He'll be just fine. At worst he might have a toughcer time against 2 or 3 of the top guys in the EL but most of them are not that great or going to worry him too much anyway!

No Scot Nichols, Chris Harris, Stefan Nielsen Or Ashley Morris
SCB replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
For about 10 years Brits had a 2.5% reduction in average until the BSPA decided it was illegal under EU law (which is crap) and scrapped it. Now rider only get the GB reduction on their first 3 averages after leaving the NL. -
The stadium didn't bankrupt them. They were paying no rent. They paid no rent, they didn't pay the riders properly. Where has the money gone? Were the crowds that low? Of course they weren't. Someone, somewhere has the money!

But what do you want Coventry to say? They have put the press release on the clubs website so they clearly agree with it. Right now, the club are behaving as if their are no problems now theres a few possible reasons for this. 1. They don't think there are any problems despite the fact they are because they're naive. 2. They don't want to rock the boat and add to the problems or 3. There are no problems. Everything is fine and we'll be running. Lets hope its 3, if not it's 2 and we all just have to hope and pray but if things are in a dodgy situation Horton coming out and saying so isn't going to help is it? Maybe, just maybe for once Horton is doing the right thing by saying nothing. I'm of the opinion that all this crap right now stretched back to 2009/2010 when Trump couldn't wait to go to the press and bad mouth Matt Ford which lead to the winter of 2010/2011 and it's snowballed. Just say nothing, sit tight and hope that not rocking the boat will see things come good. I don't see what can be gained by Horton saying anything right now.
