  1. Bewley will be 3.90. Riders get a 2.5% reduction on their first 3 averages (so seasons 2,3 and 4)
  2. Where has the BWD rumour come from? Reason I ask is that the rumour I heard suggest he WONT be at Peterborough.
  3. So Swindon have used the wrong average for their new Dane then? Certainly what I'm hearing. Anyone else heard anything?
  4. It amazes me just how slow speedway fans are. They don't want the top riders, they're trying to cut costs. They're trying to force them out.The rules have worked.
  5. People are doing just that. You got arsey with them.
  6. I don't know, maybe the fact we're on a discussion forum for speedway so we're discussing speedway. Shocking I know!
  7. With Swindon, Rye House and Somerset complete I wonder if those who said the Bees team was crap still think the same?
  8. Imagine turning up tonight expecting Chris Holder and going home having found out you have signed Jan Graversen
  9. You get a GB reduction for 3 seasons. As you can't have one in your first season, you get it in your 2nd, 3rd and 4th season.
  10. His last 10 meetings he was averaging 7.5 home and away. He's a great signing by anyone's standards, which is a good thing but the rest of team is nothing to get excited about - Jack Smith isn't bad signing but the rest, is not have in my team.
  11. Yeah, it means we'll be missing, erm, eh. Nobody at the moment! Not one GP rider has signed for a British club.
  12. So he's ridden a few times in the last two seasons. Just why has he been given a reduction? 🙄
  13. Not sure Branford is the Rye House weak link. I'd have used the point replacing Robbo, not Branford.
  14. Both Bjerres, Schlein at Ipswich, Batchelor if he's at Lynn, Kurtz, Parkinson-Blackburn, Bewley, possibly Charles Wright, Riss and Berge. Edit > And Jordan Jenkins
  15. Jan Graversen coming back year after year on a 4.XX average is exactly why foreign riders shouldn't be allowed to drop below 7.
  16. I remember asking Tim Stone about 15 years ago if I could tale photos and his answer was "if you not taking them for money you can do what you like until I say otherwise". I always got the impression the clause/warning is there in case they want to stop someone rather than because they want to stop someone and that makes sense - especially with the periscope thing!
  17. And many riders are past their best, doesn't make them bad riders or necessarily bad signings. I actually think Skornicki on 7.22(?) is bloody great value and I'm amazed he's not been snapped up!
  18. I've taken photos at Newport, Swindon, Coventry, Peterborough and Belle Vue and never had any problems. You'd think after taking all them photos I'd have at least one decent photo but amazingly not!
  19. Christ, Redcar to Somerset in just under 24 hours is do-able even with the worst traffic imaginable 😂
  20. Id argue that any rider who achieves what Chris Neath did isn't a bad rider at all. I'd be amazed if Clegg becomes as good as Neath was.
  21. Sheffield own Bates so they have priority.
  22. Surely the minimum average has to be the same in both leagues if all other riders are the same
  23. This is what happens when you allow a doubling up free for all. Doubling up should have been limited to 3 riders per team (EL and PL) this season, and announced it would be 2 per team in 2018.
  24. You half quoted stats, I gave you the stats. How you choose to take them is up to you. Thats not what I said at all. Feel free to re-read my post and see what a stupid comment you have made. I quoted Masons average from his last 2,3,4,5 and 6 meetings after someone said if you take his last few meetings he had done well. If a "few" is 2 then yes he did, if it's 3 or 4 it's ok. If a few if 5 or 6 then he was as poor as he was all season. I have not take any scores away On the other hand someone decided to cherry pick two meetings to make out he was a 7 point man
