How do Poole manage without seats?
-
Great news! He can sign for Newcastle with my blessing then HE could have signed for a non-weekend track. So he would have been available for Poland. But if it's true his Polish club are racing on a Saturday it's not a problem
-
As a Lambert fan what a shame to see him riding for Newcastle a ruining any chance of meetings in Poland. No disrespect to Newcastle but he'll never get to the top riding for them against Championship riders when he could be in Poland pushing himself. It's not as if the Premiership is going to be that difficult for him this year! We wonder why none of our riders ever go on to great things but preventing yourself from riding in Poland won't help.
-
Exactly my thoughts.
-
I don't know why people expect a statement. Coventry announced weeks ago a lease had been signed for 2 more year, possibly 3. They have signed a team. What do they need to announce? Thats two very clear indications that they will be racing in 2016 2017.
-
Surely to God not? So we're using PL averages, unless you're a new foreign rider who is a 4? The BSPA are no that stupid are they? If so why have clubs not be filling up with 4 point foreignors?!
-
Won't be on a 4 if we're using PL averages. Be 7 surely?
-
Agreed. I think he's a decent signing.
-
Back to the team. Compared to Swindon we're going to win the league!
-
If either of the reserves kicks on (and both can) that could be one hell of a team! That's as good a top 4 as anyone will sign.
-
The thing with Klindt is he gates, he wins. He doesn't gate and he's doesn't win. It doesn't matter what level he rides at he gates 50% of the time so averages about 6 at that level. But for one bad season the EL on 4ish he's always been 6ish in the PL or the EL. While I think the 5.4 is a nice average I'm not convinced he's going to get much more than 6.5 as that's what he averages.

Can't be Grondal. Swindon team is better than Coventrys. Can only assume the person claimed his has got the wrong Emil

dragged oevr to the correct thread... It depends how you want to look at it. You can simply take his EL figure and multiply by 1.4 and if his PL average is higher, it's a poor value signing. So he got 5.1, multiplied by 1.4 and you get 7.147 and his EL average is.....7.18 so looks about right. But, you could look at it that his EL average was mostly from reserve. Using my weighted averages (which you now have to divide by 40 and multiply by 50 and then mulitply by 1.4) I'd say he should be nearer 6.72. But ultimately, it's not a million miles from being wrong. Only thing I will say is that his average was achieved with a home/away split (with bonus points) of 8.32/7.81 so nothing in it. While in the EL he was 7.33/5.01. Suggesting as he'll now have some home advantage on that average that he didn't have last season he's actually a very good signing. I'm not sure if I've convinced myself he's good, bad or ok as a signing there

Im sure the year Kenneth had his best season he was at number 5. Might be worth putting him at 5 if it's what works best for him. Otherwise I'd have Garrity at 5 to ride with Sarj and Bates, meaning to the two Bjerre together and King/Kerr together. Basically, I'd not have King at 5, whatever route we go down.

Because not everyone saw the post. All skidder did was ask to see the post.

And as a Bees fan can I say I hope that the Lions are able to compete in the EL this season and build a good team. How great would a few table topping clashes between the Bees and the Lions be? Would love for a couple of play-off meeting against Leicester and Wolves. With Poole being knocked out in the semi's by one of Leicester or Wolves - or finishing bottom (but I think thats pushing my luck)
-
To be fair I don't see what skidder has done wrong here. He can be a rubbish stirring at times but he's only asking questions that others are asking based on comments that have been posted on here, facebook, twitter and polish websites.

I don't know how but they do it every year. You hear news and rumours of riders signing for every club but Somerset actually manage to keep most signing a secret until it happens.
-
Really? Be a great signing on 7.5. Well for the 5-10 meeting he would do before getting injured! Risk worth taking IMO.
-
If you're basing it on be photo then Clegg is in the 1-5 so it won't be a 6 and a 2. Or has to be two riders under 4 (or whatever Clegg is)
-
Thats exactly what they are doing.
-
Well that being the case Kenneth Bjerre is perfectly capable of being consistent. His 10.5 average last time he rode PL proves that. Why are you comparing King and Bjerre and not Bjerre and Emil Grondal? Bjerre is our best rider. Doyle is your best rider. Makes sense to compare them. Would be stupid to compare King to Doyle, he's not going to finish within half a point of Doyle. Mind you, he'll lose less off his average than Doyle will! Went to Lynn for Emile Bees debut. Kenneth stole the show, passing for fun - including last to 1st in heat 15, against Emil! Sure he scored a maximum that day.

Unless Ipswich are moving into the Premiership it's not really relevant But yes, it's why I say Somerset, only other place is Leicester and they're riding Thursdays so clash with Ipswich. BV have Fricke, Cook and two Worralls. Wolves will have Masters. Wheres left?

You need two Brits, and Mick Horton has been clever and signed up most of the decent ones
