  1. If he averaged 6.6 last time he was over here then 9.3 is fair. You all need to stop looking at averages as what a rider will score but a relative worth of a rider. On average every rider will drop about a point. So can Adam average 8.3? Well in a PL level league (which is what the Premiership is now) he can. No rider has ever been re-assessed for missing 2 seasons before, so why start now?
  2. The rule was always you could drop back down (or move back up) after a year on your old average. So I think Nick Morris should be 7.81
  3. Top Poole/Wolves pairings are... Chris Holder/Hans Andersen 10 Adam Ellis/Kyle Newman 9 Brady Kurtz/Kyle Newman 9 Kyle Howarth/Max Clegg 9 Fredrik Lindgren/Sam Masters 9 Jacob Thorssell/Sam Masters 8 Bjarne Pedersen/Kyle Newman 8 Adam Ellis/Bjarne Pedersen 8 Adam Ellis/Brady Kurtz 7 Adam Ellis/Chris Holder 7 Hans Andersen/Krzysztof Buczkowski 7 Freddie Lindgren also got 5-1s with more race partners than any other rider, his complete list of partners is... Sam Masters Peter Karlsson Joonas Kylmakorpi Kai Huckenbeck Kyle Howarth Mikkel B Jensen Jacob Thorssell Tai Woffinden Rohan Tungate Troy Batchelor Robert Lambert Scott Nicholls Jason Garrity Aaron Summers Adam Ellis Chris Harris
  4. Pointless thread he says, 2nd highest poster on the thread he is.
  5. Good call. Might set that up tomorrow.
  6. Skornicki isn't eligible for a reduction. He's only missed 2 seasons.
  7. Thats all of them, which Im sure will please starman!
  8. Updated Theres another Swindon Combo and a Coventry pairing.
  9. Thanks for you input. Imagine speedway fans discussing speedway on a speedway forum. What next? Maybe discuss when Jerran Hart might be released?!
  10. Sarjs PL home/away split is closer than his EL one. The one thing with the rumoured team is Sarj/Bates and Kerr would probably all swap between reserve and the #2 spot so might work well for them all.
  11. Kerr actually had a fairly decent second half of 2016. When you think about it the start of 2016 was always going to be tough going for him, coming back from near death and almost certain career ended injuries to not only get back on a bike and race but moved from Lynn to Lakeside in the EL (quite a change) and also changing clubs in the PL. He actually wouldn't be a bad signing on 5.98. Look at those between 5.5 and 6.5 and theres very little that stands out. Sarj on the other hand I was already thinking had gone stale at Coventry and needed a year away but I was worried he had a bargain average and someone else would gain from it. But as soon as they had to use PL averages I wouldn't have had him back. I like Sarj and actually think he's under rated by many, and you know what a year without having Havvy chatting bollocks to him about vendettas might work for him. If we're going to use 12 points on Sarj and Kerr I'd have preferred us use the 12 points in other ways. Schlein/Auty/Berge(I like him a lot!) and Roynon/Heeps/Wilson Dean/Carr are better combos IMO. Lest see what else comes our way. I think King is an OK signing, Bjerre is a brilliant signing. If we get baby-Bjerre (can hardly call him mini-Bjerre as Kenneth is tiny!) too I think we have a brilliant start. Garrity is an odd one for me, really quite poor value in terms of average but great value in terms of commitment and entertainment on track. I actually think the current rules make pretty much anyone on 8.5+ either poor or "meh", theres very few 8.5+ riders that look good value, Lindgren is about it. Would love Schlein. Weird that. If you said to be about 5 years ago you can have King, Schlein and Bjerre as your top 3 I'd have cried
  12. I think Ive highlighted all the correct answers. I'll put them in the first post now too. Two (well 1 anda half ) Swindon, BV and a Coventry pair left
  13. So who can name the pairs that got the most 5-1s? 1= Chris Harris & Krzysztof Kasprzak 16 - poolebolton 1= Craig Cook & Matej Zagar 16 - superguest 3= Josh Grajczonek & Nick Morris 14 - Anzum 4= Joe Jacobs & Richie Worrall 13 - PTW 4= Andreas Jonsson & Kim Nilsson 13 - Gordon Bennett 4= Jason Doyle & Josh Grajczonek 13 - Anzum 4= Jason Doyle & Justin Sedgmen13 - PTW 8= Andreas Jonsson & Edward Kennett 11 - Joe Beevers 8= Niels K Iversen & Robert Lambert 11 - poolebolton 8= Richie Worrall & Steve Worrall 11 - John Leslie 8= Chris Harris & Danny King 11 - Anzum *EL and play-offs.
  14. Very big clue posted online that Danny King has signed.
  15. So prompt that BSI had to bail them out first back in the summer?
  16. Because Robbo is not the same standard *or within a point of) as Watt, Schlein, Bjerre (x2), Kurtz etc. And no way is Kennett going to get 9.3. I just see that pair losing 5 points. Which I guess could still mean the team averaging 45 and that would be a good season. I'm probably being critical as once teams are complete they're probably all going to have a rider or two with a duff average in them. It's just their first three signing were spot on and thinking about it now, that should be good enough. Short of someone signing Bjerre (x2), Schlein, Klindt and Kurtz I can't see how they're going to better it!
  17. What started as a good first 3 signings has gone wrong with Kennett and Robbo.
  18. Wasn't there a GP qualifier in Russia a few years ago that ended up with the majority of the field being Russians as riders couldn't get visa and had problems at the border?
  19. Not sure Lasse has worked with Kenneth but if Kenneth and Jim get on well you'd think Kenneth would have a word and Lasse is as much a bargain as Kenneth. Both could be that rare thing in 2017, riders capable of increasing averages. And for all Kenneths being dull, Lasse makes up for it.
  20. Neither Bjerre has been announced yet for an Premiership team....
  21. I agree with that. But if I'm posting fantasy teams on an internet forum I'm not going to suggest using either The second your ideal/perfect/fantasy team on an internet forum starts taking into account you're going to be fighting for scraps is not very fantasy/ideal/perfect is it? It's like saying your dream car is a Ford Focus because you can't afford a Ferrari and you need the back seats for the kids
  22. So Morley will be back then, or at least they have a Morley sized hole
  23. 2012. And Im sure any issues were more with people around them than the riders themselves. They're both big boys and I'm sure they'll be just fine together. Sign Rory Schlein and you have the Bees 2007 all conquering teams heat leaders!
  24. Harris hates Lakeside (or his scoring suggests he does) but he can ride Wolves, old BV and flew around Eastbourne. If anything, Bomber IS a small, technical track man. It's big tracks that tend to be his downfall, Peterborough has never been his best track for example. As for his gating, at league level it's perfectly adequate. Yet he turns up at a GP and totally forgets he has spent the last 2 week gating at EL level. IMO Rye House have got a great top 2 (assuming they're the top 2) who will actually be capable of increasing their average, something not many others will do!
