Belle Vue v Ipswich 22nd April

That would depend on the traffic I would suggest keep checking the traffic reports and adjust your journey accordingly, common sense really. -

Possibly, because he said "heavy traffic" delayed him getting to the airport, if you have a plane to get you should assume heavy traffic/accidents/etc and leave home earlier than needed, it might mean sitting around in an airport lounge but at least you wouldn't need to use lame excuses for missing a plane. -

He didn't miss his plane, he was sitting on it when passengers had to get off due to technical issues -

I daresay they are trying to work out what to do/say as unlike Tungate he didn't miss his flight he was actually on the plane. Personally I don't think Doyle/Ipswich should be penalised for something that was clearly not their fault. -

There is an SCB statement , Doyle was on the plane but all passengers has to disembark due to a technical issue, I don't think there was much Jason could do about that unless he had his toolbox with him -
Witches v Lions KOC 2nd Leg April 4th

It is showing it as on with a preview of the meeting but on the same website the fixture list has been showing it as off for quite a while now, as you say not very impressive -
I'm of the older fan base, I hear swearing on the streets etc I don't like it but I accept its now part of life but when a Media day is to promote something as a sport for all to watch the excessive swearing used by Tai was unacceptable. His comments about punch ups on track and how they the riders should be paid/applauded as they put the viewing figures through the roof were also out of order. If there's an incident on track and in the heat of the moment riders resort to fisticufs it happens so be it, let the referee put it in his report etc but to use it to promote speedway is wrong. Phil Morris should hold more media days, with louder microphones, but have a word with riders/participants first about what is or is not acceptable, surely people can make a relevant point minus the bad language.

Witches v Aces Thursday March 21st

Scott Nicholls is now listed as guesting for Doyle tonight -
Perhaps if there is another broadcast live conference and also when being interviewed during live streamed meetings riders should be told beforehand to moderate their language, surely they can discuss/make comments without the swearing then they would come across as more professional.

Well done to all the Save Coventry Group, lets hope this is one step closer to bringing back Speedway to Brandon.

Genuine question, is there a scale/table of fines ie £1500 for failing a drug test, £3000 for bringing the sport into disrepute etc or is a figure just plucked out of the air and also what happens if the fine isn't paid, does it just increase (like parking tickets) or do bailiffs get sent in or is it just written off?
-
How is the following condition to work when obviously if you have a booked drug test on a certain date you won't be partaking in the previous couple of days unless you are really stupid . "Must undergo regular testing, furnishing the results to the SCB, for the two months prior to resuming racing, at his own expense."

First time? First time he got caught do you mean, speedway is dangerous if you do drugs don't get on a speedway bike and put others at risk of serious injury.

Just read this on Max Perry's facebook page. " Just to update. Max is in a bad way. He is talking. Broken wrist, broken fingers, suspected broken ribs, knee, ankle, leg. Off to John Radcliffe he is On Morphine and IV pain relief. " Hope he can get well soon.

Robert Lambert or Artem Laguta ? they like riding for clubs for the last couple of meetings to boost their trophy cabinets.

I don't think bringing in a guest is the main issue, it's being able to bring in riders that don't ride in the UK all season then when they've finished riding abroad they come back over here for a few meetings to boost their bank balance and their medal cupboard. Robert Lambert now has winners medals 2 years running from different clubs and years down the line when looking at statistics it will make him look good even though he only played a very small part in those clubs. The rules need sorting so that Lambert and others can't do the same again next year.

"Pure quality", sorry If you think that's how away team fans should be spoken too, I'd call it "pure ignorance" especially as many the Ipswich fans probably go and support Tai at Cardiff. Well done Kyle Howarth (and sort of Sheffield) on last night's medal (last man standing he needs to be named). Just a shame Lewis Kerr wasn't riding as well.
