  1. Apparently they said that apparently he wants to ride for them as apparently Poole don’t want him apparently. Plus apparently I’ve heard he apparently can’t reside in England apparently so has to live outside England apparently. Apparently this post could be a load of rubbish.
  2. Very true, so in reality what Poole are actually moaning at is actually why they did. Couldn’t write it
  3. Pools fans moaning about a rider leaving them who agreed to sign….. someone remind me about Lawson….. or is it cause they are Poole and Poole can do what they want…..?
  4. Completely agree about Alfie but if no team with there only being 6 teams are going to take a chance on him then would make sense to earn a bit of extra money and dialling in on a few more tracks.
  5. In that case from what I’ve heard Andrew’s has retired so take him out and build from there.
  6. Ok so doing some research it’s a 40.00 limit and potentially Bowtell is allowed in but it would be his 4.77 championship average doubled ( could be wrong ). 1.Gilkes - 10.24 2. trigger - 4.12 3. Andrew’s - 6.35 4. Atkins - 5.86 5. Bowtell - 9.54 6. 7. total - 36.11 left - 3.89 could be 0.11 to micas could t get 2 x 2 point reserves in there.
  7. Surprised but delighted to have two teams this year. Team building wise, I assume some possibilities would be…. 1.Gilkes 2. 3. Andrew’s 4. 5. Atkins 6. Trigger 7. no idea if these riders have been signed up already or if these riders can all ride national league. Maybe add I’d Alfie bowtell. No idea if Alfie can ride national league. any idea on team building average this year ? Any idea on Bowtell average ?!
  8. Any ideas on Gillkes average ?! Seems that a possible Ben Barker sized hole available for the last rider ?
  9. Same as on Poole thread but Who would Plymouth have selected if they had the choice between the two had they both wanted to come. Have Plymouth benefited by the fact Poole have taken Lawson ?
  10. I’ll ask the same question on the Plymouth thread but Who would Plymouth have selected if they had the choice between the two had they both wanted to come. Have Plymouth benefited by the fact Poole have taken Lawson ?
  11. But that’s the issue, why can’t fans have the latest green sheet average straight away. always feel something isn’t right when things are hidden and delayed.
  12. Completely agree. To keep the interest in speedway during the off season averages should be clear and obvious allowing people to build teams with knowing the riders averages. Even with the 2.5% Brit reduction it should be clear and obvious. create a bit of excitement in the off season. It’s a unique sport that you can build teams like this and that should be something to build upon to gain further interest in the sport.
  13. 1 - Richard Lawson - 8.51 2 - Alfie Bowtell - 4.77 3 - Edward Kennet - 7.18 or 8.40 4 - 5 - MPT - 7.33 6 - 7 - Henry Atkins - 2:00 Leaves…. 12.21 left or 10.99….. depending on if they use Kennets average pre Eastbourne or post Eastbourne ( 7.18 is post Eastbourne average ) 12.21 add Barker to the set up at 6.87 would leave 5.34. If It’s 10.99 and you add Barker it’s 4.12 then Rumul at reserve possibly. Newman pre Eastbourne would be on a 5.03 average. Leaving 5.96
  14. Plymouth releasing the other two heat leaders tomoz at 6pm. silhouettes on the Gladiators Facebook page. If anybody can hazard a guess.
  15. 1 - Richard Lawson - 8.51 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - Alfie Bowtell - 4.77 7 - Henry Atkins - 2* ( to be confirmed I assume and on average of rising star ) Ben Barker - 6.87 Tom Brennan - 6.31 Adam Roynan - 5.07 Cameron heeps - 4.95 Edward Kenneth - 7.18 Ricky wells - 6.70 Kyle Newman 5.43 MPT - 7.33 Danny king - 8.98 Dillon Rumul - 4.00 Brock nicol - 5.50 Scott Nichols - 8.9 zane Keleher - 4.15 Zach cook - 4.40 Lawson, Atkins And Bowtell = 25.72 left
  16. Great rider around Plymouth and if it was just a result business for Ben Barker I think he would be superb. the issue I have is his machinery and how he seems to have a bit of an ego around Plymouth. again I’d love for him to prove me wrong, and as you say the points he scores is very good but would someone like palm toft score nearly as many and be more of a team player ?
  17. 1 - Richard Lawson - 8.51 2 - Alfie Bowtell - 4.77 3 - MPT - 7.33 4 - Kyle Newman - 5.43 5 - Danny king - 8.95 6 - Anders Rowe - 3.98 7 - Henry Atkins - 2* ( to be confirmed I assume ) Think I’d go along those lines. 41 points exact if that’s a potential limit. I would like Brennan but think he’s unrealistic. Also Nicol and heeps but think they will be on most teams radars as well.
  18. As examples….. ( I know these are not necessarily realistic but using as examples) brady Kurtz… what would his champ avg be ? 2021 prem average - 7.35 2017 chanp average - 7.65 I assume you’d times it by 1.5 meaning he would be on an 11 average ?! Or would he be on his old champ average ?
  19. Looking at possible team members for next season and scrolling threw previous Greensheets. Few questions, if anyone can help…. 1) if a rider hasn’t rode in the championahip but rode in the premiership last year how do you convert the average ? 2) if a rider rode in the championship the season before last would it be that average used ? Further on from that if they rode in the championship 2 years ago but prem last year would you use the old average or converted average ?! Any help be appreciated
  20. Agreed I think Bowtell is on a 6.78 average next year ( could be very wrong, but his green sheet Column for a guest is 7.33 take 5% for home advantage then take 2.5% for being British) 1 - Lawson - 8.73 2 - 3 - Bowtell - 6.78 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - Atkins - rising star 2* based on 41 point last season means remaining is……. 23.49 for 4 riders
  21. Just to open up discussions….. Are there any riders that people think are on low enough averages to improve considerably ? on to high averages that teams will find difficult to get them in ? any foreign riders that may realistically sign in the championship ?
