dont think gary ablitt is being considered a long term project at all, matt ford is to good at team building not to have worked out that garys best hope was apoint in ht2 plus any gifts!but the team would be good enough to carry him this yr,unlikely to return me thinks edit. oops god knows where that came from -

good to see the video proves the ref has made the correct decision, not a difficult one at that, also personally vindicates my original feelings at the meeting last night, pretty clear to most people i think -

had good view of lawson taking out palm toft was a disgusting move, well done to gary may best manager in the league -
exactly right roger,as an example of how it should be done the IPL allowed 2 new teams to join the league this season and each existing club was only allowed to retain 2 of their current players every other player went into an auction with every team only allowed to spend so much at the auction, result the new teams were 1st and third

trouble is skids thats a very insular view we really need to look at the bigger picture, speedways in a sorry state and cant carry on like this.(if i could offer another insular view i would say that many local businesses pubs, hotels, restaurants etc would have benefited from a weekend meeting and they wont now)

looks like a bad decision for speedway not running it on a saturday, very rarely can you ever work out the thought processes of the people making these decisions

poole town would require a long and secure lease and theyre not going to get that from current stadium leaseholders, why would osborne want to get involved with a southern league club ?hes already got one nonleague millstone round his neck!be great if something really good could could emerge at the stadium ive certainly no idea what or how, needs the council to get really involved, saying that its probably more frightening having the council involved than clark osborne involved ha ha

i actually thought it was excellent refereeing, he held off the red lights to the last moment because joe was up very quickly from his fall ,got the bike up and seemed certain to clear the track but despite his efforts the rear of his bike was caught under the air fence and this delayed his escape and the lights had to come on. -

the situation at swindon stadium is totally out of the control of the speedway promotion much the same as the poole situation,is there a common denominator? oh yes there is!!
