GPs this year must be very depressing, even boring, for all but two of the participants,no matter how well they ride or find the perfect lines they pretty well know as soon as they straighten up one of the "superstars"is going to open the throttle and sail past,they are both excellent riders but with such superior machinery its not much of a sporting spectacle.things need to change,standard sealed engines for a start,perhaps bring in one of the moto gp heirarchy to sort it all out .

i dont have any knowledge of track grading or prep but watching a tractor continually going around at 3mph is painfull !! (and then theres the wireless microphones more pain lol)

going back to the "time"issue i think it all starts badly with the two teams walking out separately ,certainly a bit boring, unimaginative and time consuming(thought both teams going round on the trailer was ok but of course thats a different story)

perhaps just as well ray,thought the meeting went on long enough anyway

think gary may will be supplying most of the guests to cover stefan

never watch speedway on tv live chris,use sky plus and usually start watching an hour after the start time,skip adverts (and some other parts!)

pretty sure when they shut the greyhounds they only retained two full time staff at the stadium dave phoebe deputy manager and a lady in the office (plus part timers in the car park)damm sure those duties could be covered easily also damm sure stadia uk wouldnt make any effort to help speedway,horrible firm run by horrible people

speedway riders of any ability have probably got more "bottle" in their little finger than you(indeed most if us) would have in your entire body

take a bit of funding to put out a competitive premier league team even at the current reduced standard,i hope poole can have some mega crowds through this summer( cant see why not) stay in the championship for 2/3yrs then look at the situation then,who knows what league structures etc will be by then also should have a clear picture re the stadium. plus i would imagine matts little french b&b will need to be earning a few quid as well !!

by far the best commentary pairing,kelvin 10 times better when not trying to make stupid jokes with an equally unfunny pearson,stick with kelvin and chris, and also scrap the studio analysis,pearson probably on the biggest wage so bt think also of the money you could save!!!

i know you post in jest mike but in essence you are very correct sportsonly covenants can be got around pretty easy

nothing those landlords do would ever surprise me but what on earth is there angle(and they will have one) in making life so difficult for the speedway???

good options there fozzie, though they might gamble on a comfortable home win and go for a cheaper option

ray surely if gaming international wanted "out" of the lease they would sell it themselves and not give it back to the council for them to sell(clarke osborne hasnt got where he is today by giving things away!!!) Its my opinion for what its worth that they have no intention of offloading the stadium,too many possibilities in the pipeline over the next few years
