i'm delighted we have chosen ipswich but in the back of my mind i am a little or actually more than a little worried about your prediction/concern re the "financial suicide" of picking ipswich lets all hope that any financial hit can be more than covered by a massive final turnout(im confident we will be in the final!!)
-
sorry if i misunderstood but i thought the two posts above did imply that poole would pick swindon, ipswich is "financial suicide"(on previous visits the worst crowds of the season) never going to pick wolves so that only left swindon
-
im not a track expert but i know time was spent on the first bend last wk but it was pretty much as you say packing in fresh shale, the poole guy is fully aware of the problem but has no chance with the resources and equipment available to him, understand a new wheelbarrow will be purchased for next season if a sponsor can be found lol

just googled this and its a quote by american archbishop fulton sheen,he is apparently famous for his writings and thoughts worth a quick browse.(it is sunday morning)

Big decisions in November.

why would kent take the financial risk and who would loan them heat leaders to make a competitive team? -
re wells pulling out this wk might be more a case of preserving his current average effective 1/9 of 4.39,couldnt risk it falling further, super prospect that douglas is we could have scrapped thro with any guest.genuine question what ave would be used if a guest from the championship was used in the play-offs??

unless its a photo or in the stewards room !!!

the pessimist in me says this could be a real borefest racing wise if lambert and cook are off their game and lynn missing two riders and douglas unbeaten by a lynn reserve,on the upside with this morning drizzle no dust tonight yippee -
totally agree we are now severely weakened by poor old rickys injury and will be massive underdogs in remaining matches, shame the promotion couldnt find the finance for intensive private treatment for poor old ricky, and poor old ricky himself must be gutted to miss the last few paydays of the season

thats a pretty shocking post you idiot, agree or disagree you have to respect a fellow speedway fan,i really dont get this gavan paranoia from the same 3 poole "fans" sometimes i agree sometimes i dont, but at least he puts up a reasoned argument, his poole critics just just return rude comments,as you know starman i dislike you, but i certainly dont wish you an injury by playing on an A road

surely its in scunthorpes best interest to make him their asset then sell him to bell vue(or whoever)the lad could probably negotiate a better deal for himself that way as well
-
good point baldy,im actually not sure whether to look forward to the poole 2020 thread or be dreading it!!

would prefer a stronger sauce than" heinz" blue -
the "position of those clubs now" is that they are up for sale and those that arent would probably consider any reasonable offer

Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.

often think fining footballers is pointless but with uk speedway a 3k fine for each on top of their leniant bans might make them behave in future, think the eastbourne mindset has been for many years "at arlington we do what ever we want"
