Not sure I'm right here but why didn't Poole just wait for the new averages so that Newman could've dropped back into Reserve with Klindt moving into the main body of the team? Starke is hardly an improvement, wasn't good at all for Somerset this season. Obviously might be a bit better at Poole but why would his form drastically change away from home?

3 points in it at the interval. 8-1 for Leicester in Heat 11 has given them a real chance...... -
I get why you said that Shanes is/was in danger (even if I don't agree) but why would you replace a 2pt rider with another one and suddenly expect better results? The reason you have a 2 pointer at no7 after all is to accommodate Klindt, who gives you a huge advantage as long as he remains at Reserve. Anyway, as soon as Wolves replaced Skornicki who was a main body rider not scoring and Clegg, Greaves started to improve. So as you say, some pressure off Shanes might help him too I guess.
-
Why Shanes though? More often than not he seems to be scoring above his average at home which is all you can ask for from 2 pointer, any points away from home are a bonus. I've seen Belle Vue fans moan about Jack Smith too, another 2 pointer. I'm not sure what people are expecting from riders on such a low average, there's a reason they are 2 pointers...... KK hasn't been riding ''like he can'' in for England for years - why would that change?

Tom Perry is now Leicester's Guest at no7 rather than Ellis Perks. -

Poole should've won by double figures, are they perhaps kidding themselves so they don't come to the realisation that their current team is below their usual standards this year? -

I still can't understand our choice of Guest but oh well, it's an extra point that was unexpected! -

Poole should've won by double figures tonight so as you say, definite issues with their team this season. -

Well you could've seen that coming - poor choice of Guest cost us a win. Good point I guess though. -

What a ridiculous choice of Guest by Wolves. Might as well give Poole the points now with a stupid choice like that. -

Would he turn up on a Saturday night at places like Leicester and Rye House though? -

And tipping it down now -
Weather might help with that though, expecting Monday to be washed out. Think an injured Freddie and a banged up Schlein stops any chance of us getting anything from Poole on Wednesday too.

Why does Speedway Promotion in this country seem to be so inept? They haven't adapted to social media at all and even old fashioned ways of advertising (posters etc) don't seem to feature for most clubs. I know Wolves have a decent Twitter Feed with 10K followers but there isn't much content up on there either and you wouldn't find anything in the City Centre etc. -

Yes I agree. We could be even stronger without Freddie though as I'd have liked us to have booked Kim Nilsson as Guest but hopefully Nicholls should be able to score 8-9. Will be interesting to see how Zengota does for you if I can make it tonight, he hasn't had that many meetings this season by the sounds of it and only scored 4 in Poland yesterday. -

Was a bit of speed on the outside as the meeting wore on but yes, the track was pretty dire. -
Belle Vue is a great racing track. Not sure why that means there can't ever be good racing elsewhere too though.
-
The Belle Vue snob. If only we all could get £1million publicly funded stadiums.............

As we know from when we've won the league before, it's all about getting into the top 4 and then the real season starts. Finishing top would be a bonus so you can pick your semi final opponent but it's not the be all or end all. -

Indeed. When he was signed I thought we could have 4 potential calibre heatleaders (along with Freddie, Lindgren and Masters) - all about him keeping injury free I think. -

Great win......really happy with our team now, just hope we can hold any injuries off and we will take some beating. -
