  1. Chris Louis went to a huge effort to bring emil over here, he’s well looked after, adored by home and away fans everywhere he goes and says the technical tracks are helping no end skill set wise. Lots of stories of not getting paid in Sweden the last few years - while there’s been troubles at some clubs in uk I’ve never heard a whisper of Louis not paying riders, most riders who’ve ridden here state it’s the most professionally run club they’ve ridden for in uk. it was interesting as well what woffinden said on the mic after his first visit back to Foxhall and some of the other smaller tracks, that it had been so long he’d almost forgotten how much fun you can have on the small tracks, end of the day they’re trying to earn a living but also they do all just love having fun on their bikes don’t they
  2. If king had of scored 6-7 away to Leicester in the play offs we’d have been in the final, but he didn’t he scored 2 riding at no.2 he’s been a fantastic servant to the club, criticisms of him often have been ott like you’ve described above with people expecting him to ride beyond his level, but the fact is when it’s gotten to the business end of the season in the biggest meetings he’s let us down more than once. for me it’s time to say thanks for the memories and move on.
  3. You ride half your meetings at home and Ellis is very good at Foxhall, injuries are an issue but I think he’s good value on his average. would like to see doyle, Ellis, rew, Brennan, emil, dan t, rising star wpuld like to see Boughen as the rising star but can’t see Oxford letting him go and I’m not really clued up on who would be eligible for the rising star list next year so time will. Tbh I’d be more than happy to keep Jordan and Dan as our reserve pair and just swap out king for Brennan from this years side if the rules allowed
  4. I mean we’d have won at a canter if emil and Doyle were fit
  5. I think all the teams in the league have been grateful for emil riding in the uk the last two years, put numbers on every gate! class act on and off the track
  6. I’d prefer kvech to tarasenko, Doyle and Dan Thompson are musts, rew high on my list too as he progressed well this year and more improvement in him. Would like to see Brennan a full time with and Ellis has done enough to back too all depends on emil really if no emil then maybe doyle rew brennan ellis kvech dan t and see what we’ve got left, if emil’s coming back which I hope he is then obviously won’t be able to fit them all in, as others have said I’d be very happy with musielak hard to put teams together before we know the team building structure and points limit - ie is the rising star program continuing and is Dan eligible or not, is Jenkins or not etc
  7. Watch it back with glasses, fricke was lifting already before any minimal contact with kvech 👍
  8. Why would he want to leave Ipswich? It’s an ultra professional club where he’s happy, riding the tight grippy circuit has aided his development ten fold, belle vue is a great track but from a development perspective he’s riding the big tracks in Poland.
  9. Fricke was already lifting and out of control when he and kvech touched - you must’ve missed that
  10. Ipswich release statement that they’ve brought Mark Clattenberg in as the clubs’ “referee decisions consultant” for the remainder of the season
  11. Got to blame Dan Thompson there, as the experienced rider he shouldn’t have been pushing king so hard in tricky conditions
  12. Because he was trying to stay on and make the corner 🤷‍♂️ and as for that rew exclusion wtaf!!
  13. Jack holder shushing the crowd having beaten Danny ling and Adam Ellis in heat 13 🤡 would love to have seen him against emil and Jason wouldn’t have been anywhere
  14. While I agree for the most watching Freddie Thursday I’d say he was at emil/doyle level round foxhall
  15. Think so, they changed the rules after last season so riders can only guest for one team in playoffs but can ride in all of a teams meetings didn’t they?
  16. Tapping up?? Musielak had been back from injury riding in Poland for a few weeks before Doyle got injured! I guess maybe Hawkins and Louis phoned him and said they’d got a crystal ball and foreseen Doyle’s season ending injury and would be like to replace him?
  17. I mean speedway clubs can seemingly sack a rider at the drop of a hat so common sense would suggest contractually there isn’t a notice period in either direction as it can’t be one rule one way and not the other as such if a rider decided he wanted to leave his employer and take up another more appealing job elsewhere what’s the problem? The scb puts a 28 day withholding services ban on a rider and then surely they should be able to sign wherever they want no? if a team drops a rider the scb doesn’t then make the club who have dropped him pay start money for 28 days do they? No protection for riders being sacked but also if you decide you want to leave and ride somewhere else sorry mate we’re gonna block you from that.
  18. Everyone bar Brummies are riding so really only Freddie that would be better than r/r, or maybe Brennan. assume scotty not available as Hawkins said we’d use him whenever he is available, he’s not nearly a strong a guest at 1 away from Foxhall either
