  1. Don’t remember lidsey ever looking particularly fast or comfortable at Foxhall tbh - maybe wrong. Blodorn has done an ok job as a second string/reserve for the most part
  2. Bewley can be up and down at Foxhall despite being quoted last year as saying he loves racing round there just doesn’t seem to score consistently. kurtz for me has been the best away rider at Foxhall for a good few years now tbh
  3. Tbf a thread on here for restaurant recommendations near all the tracks for travelling fans wouldn’t be the worst thing would it!
  4. Any recommendations for a pub lunch relatively local to the track before Niels meeting on Sunday?
  5. Anyone know when press and practise day is this year?
  6. Very good line up for the Ben fund meeting this year, don’t think the 2010 lineup at rye house will ever be topped tho! https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/7075/fund-bonanza-house-14th-march
  7. Keynan’s gating has largely been what’s held his progress back in his two years at Foxhall tbh, but back end of season and in playoffs it has markedly improved for sure, keep that up and he’ll be looking for some big scalps this year
  8. Even if it’s a one sided pasting it’s in poole’s interest financially I’d imagine to run it, will get a big home gate for the visit of the holders and woffy
  9. I’ve thought Brady has been the best away rider to visit Ipswich for a few seasons now, he’s a good bit better round Foxhall than the likes of fricke/jack holder. Woffiden was pretty impressive on his first return in 15 years or so I must say too. in terms of riding at Ipswich tho? Wouldn’t swap Emil or Doyle for anyone
  10. Vuolas great entertainment, decent reserve with some improvement in him, zischke will be in the Grand Prix by his mid twenties
  11. Is there a rider you don’t think is on a downward arc? Nothing to suggest Lawson will be anything but a continued solid rider and he’s better round Lynn than anywhere else, king Lynn look a solid outfit, potential for a couple to make a step forward to higher level and several seasoned riders, avoiding injuries will be key but I rate them above Leicester for sure
  12. Don’t agree thorsell is on a downward arc, rode well in the SoN at belle vue last summer beating lots of big names helping Freddie and Sweden to a bronze medal, scored 10 coming fifth in the gp challenge also narrowly missing out on qualification having one bad ride in the meeting
  13. The amount of times Ipswich’s reserves out scored the away teams reserves by a significant amount last season I’d say points throughout the team win matches
  14. Also does Pearson have dual citizenship? I’m not sure but I thought he rode in the national league?
  15. Looking forward to brummies visit to Foxhall, Zagar has alway been a classy rider despite what some say on here.
  16. You’ve previously claimed rew was unceremoniously dumped on the scrapheap by Ipswich - merely using your words to point out same can be said for Ben cook 👍 also One further point - you said if you’re rational then facts should affect opinions, Chris Louis stated rew left mostly for his own reasons yet you continue to slander Louis and Ipswich claiming he was unfairly sacked. Sounds like some contradiction that or are you not rational?
  17. Ok boomer 🤣 fact - belle vue had reduce their team average fact - they’ve chosen to unceremoniously dump Ben cook - their biggest improver from last season on the scrapheap
  18. Didn’t think I’d ever find someone on here as irritating as that twerp laguta fan but he’s giving him a good run for his money! 🤣
  19. Certainly think it makes sense having Lawson start at 2, his gating prowess was a very useful weapon for Leicester in many heat 1’s home and away
  20. Where in the press release does it say the meeting is the British under 19 final?
  21. Are you a Tory politician!!?? Selective quoting at its finest 🤣🤣 the following sentence… “I’m quite excited to be going back into battle with the same guys. Obviously, Keynan is one change, for his reasons mostly, which is fine and it’s certainly not closing the door on his Ipswich career. I like to think we gave him his chance and helped his first couple of years development, and he did make big improvements last year. I certainly don’t see that as the end of his Ipswich days that’s for sure.” Chris Louis
  22. I know you were talking about rew not exactly hard to see through your vagueness to find the repeated Ipswich jibe you spout daily - read Louis’ report, rew moved on due to his reasons and Louis hopes he’ll be a witch again in future 👍 An alternative narrative for you - ben cook was belle vue’s biggest improver last season, has improved every season the last few years and made great strides on the continent too last year and for his efforts got kicked to the kerb meanwhile lidsey drops a point and a half and is retained!? Lidsey will have been on higher wages at the start of the season no doubt and I can’t imagine Ben would’ve asked for more this season than lidsey will be getting, loan fee you say? can’t imagine that’s a great amount and will be offset by travel expenses with Ben being uk based and lidsey not. as much as I don’t want to see kings Lynn succeed as our old farm rivals…when they visit the NSS I sincerely hope Ben scores a match winning double figure haul. hope that helps.
