No idea if the 36 limit is legit or a rumour as many have suggested but I’d swap rew and Brennan for Danny and Tobi tbh their combined is 0.11 more so still fits under the 36 and you’ve got two younger riders with much more potential upside for average improvement throughout the season and in Tom in a weakened league he’d be a proper no.5 to back up Doyley - he’s not far off that the way he finished the season this year in a stronger league.

Hopefully we can keep together as many of the victorious 2025 squad as possible for next season

Managed by a former captain of many years. Led from the front by world class riders in Emil and Doyle - Doyley being quoted as saying he’d happily see out his British career at the club. Ellis a returning rider who first rode at reserve as a teenager, Dan Thompson career revived when at a crossroads being dumped by Leicester, rew returning to help us win the trophy with Hawkins describing him in the meeting preview as “his first choice as soon as Adam was out, he’s our rider” Ipswich our as much a family as any club Now more than ever the speedway community needs to pull together and cohesively push towards a sustainable future for British speedway where we’re retaining clubs and even hopefully seeing past clubs re open or even new ventures come to fruition like Workington have in the last couple of years. I took my aged 9 t shirt with me Thursday as a good luck charm, signed by all 6 riders of the 98 team of 27 years ago on the track in the wild celebrations that night we won it all, it was a great talking piece with other fans around me reminiscing of that night sharing stories and remembering dad having to hoist me up over the fence so Tony rickardsson could reach to sign it for me! It’s certainly felt like a family club to me over the 36 years I’ve been going and others far longer, I’m a third generation fan with my grandfather even helping dig it out when it was originally built.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Leicester last night, good crack with the home fans near us and nice to see so many other witches fans make the trip made a great atmosphere! flicking through the races this morning to watch again with replays etc. have to say while there was no contact Dan T was harshly excluded - olly called this on commentary saying he was taking avoiding action when he lost control. All four rider made a good start fighting for the same bit of track, basically by excluding him and not calling that first bend bunching to me the ref is saying next time don’t lock the bike up to avoid Ryan Douglas on the outside Dan just ride your normal line and send him into the fence and I’ll put all 4 back in because you bunched up.

Hi Leicester crew, should Leicester make the final we’ll be coming up to visit for the first time so after some info on parking (which I’m pretty sure has been discussed at length before but rather than trawl through old threads thought I’d just ask) stadium has a car park but not very big? Can park for 4 hours at the shopping centre or you could but now can’t? Are the general things I seem to remember reading but that could be a different track any advice be much appreciated

I’ve only ever been to Brandon once, dad took me to the Grand Prix challenge final I think 2009 not exactly sure of the year, holder hampel and zorro making it through to the Grand Prix, was an absolutely fantastic meeting, great racing and hotly contested all night, zorro was made of steel that night picked himself up off the deck 3 or 4 times to get the final win he needed to make the cut

Amazed to see Becker being back I thought he was going to be out for the season! Glad he’s healed/healing well was having arguably his best season to date before the smash

Could you kindly put forward a big bag or two of cash to purchase the stadium from the owners then the stock car promotion, and a few more bags of cash to completely alter the stadium with a bigger stock car track and bigger speedway track more suitable? don’t necessarily disagree with the points about the suitability of the track shape but you make it sound like negligence on the Ipswich promotions part that they’re not moving with the times and making the track much bigger with zero grasp of a realistic solution. louis has altered the track banking and shape 4-5 times over the past few years doing his best to try and improve the racing within the confines of the stock car track and while it’s still quite one dimensional when prepared well there’s opportunity to go deeper and find grip to pass last night it was pretty poorly prepared…again stabdinng just on the exit of second bend have watched riders hitting a hole/bump mid turn 1/2 all season, can’t understand how it’s not been dealt with, frustrating for the riders and frustrating to watch week in week out, that hole was what Doyle was out on track complaining about and highlighting to Hawkins in the grade break.

Witches were well below par tonight, but I’m sorry anyone who thinks Kerr’s move on Dan T was fair and square has got rose tinted glasses on, Dan passed him fair and square up the top turn and Kerr was probably still two bike lengths behind him going past the start finish and into the first turn bend 1 standing on the second bend exit myself and everyone around me were certain that there was contact including the kings Lynn fans beside us, as the rider in front Dan could’ve easily ridden across to the inside going into turn 1 lap 4 but knowing Kerr was coming steaming under him from miles back some self preservation ensued and he rode a little wider and was still sent tumbling. as the rider in front is entitled to ride where they want should he of chopped Kerr off and stood it up in front of him and made sure they both definitely crashed? it’s a shame for it to end on a crash and questionable as it was a closely fought tie between rival teams, and despite being below par tonight on their home track the witches still had a chance of winning the tie on aggregate having moved into a 5-1 in heat 14
