  1. Great job Chris Louis has done altering the track over the winter, our boys still love it and the best visiting rider there’s been the past few seasons can’t ride it anymore 🤣🤪
  2. The sad reality is playoffs or no playoffs the eventual champions is almost always decided by injuries
  3. I don’t think it would be a brazen prediction for say doyle 12 danny 8 adam 8 tom 8 Emil 11 dan 7 jordan 4 they could all struggle like the normally imperious at home belle vue lads did Monday but I don’t think it’s likely
  4. Belle vue will no doubt be up for it, at Foxhall which belle vue riders do you realistically expect to outscore their opposing number tho? Obviously on the night all sorts can happen but honestly I think Kurtz and Doyle will be fairly even and both double figures could go either way, other than that honestly expect all the other Ipswich riders to come out on top in their head to heads
  5. Ellis has always been pretty handy round Foxhall tbf, the season crump came back for us and had a go in an early season meeting he was following Ellis keeping it safe low down/mid track while Ellis was in the dirt on the fence line pulling away out front. After the race crumpy was applauding him having a chat, pointing to the fence and shaking his head, looked as if he was saying “what in the hell were you doing out there lad” 😂
  6. Kurtz and bewley can only score 3 more than they did last night
  7. Kurtz and bewley can only score 3 more than they did last night
  8. Too much of Danny’s ippo career the expectations on him have been higher than his level, he’s never been a proper 1 or 5 in the top league but he’s had to be that and then overly criticised when come up short - now he’s not got the burden of those unrealistic expectations should go along quite nicely this season. Hawkins made a good point with king riding at 2 the majority of his rides come earlier in the meeting on a grippier track which will suit him also Great start last night for him and the team 😃
  9. I think Rew holds the key tonight, if he hits the ground running could be the difference maker in a close meeting
  10. Same here tbh, personally feel it appears much more of a professional team having a team suit Can’t say I find it difficult really, so long as you know who’s in red/blue on your team etc in each race its easy enough to follow
  11. Madness! Bit like the town playing in blue every year! 🙃
  12. Bags of ability but he’s completely lacking confidence, was shutting off before the first corner afraid to mix it, KL fans shouldn’t expect to much of him too soon no but I think it’s a fair expectation for him to contend first turns
  13. Don’t remember lidsey ever looking particularly fast or comfortable at Foxhall tbh - maybe wrong. Blodorn has done an ok job as a second string/reserve for the most part
  14. Bewley can be up and down at Foxhall despite being quoted last year as saying he loves racing round there just doesn’t seem to score consistently. kurtz for me has been the best away rider at Foxhall for a good few years now tbh
  15. Tbf a thread on here for restaurant recommendations near all the tracks for travelling fans wouldn’t be the worst thing would it!
  16. Any recommendations for a pub lunch relatively local to the track before Niels meeting on Sunday?
  17. Anyone know when press and practise day is this year?
  18. Very good line up for the Ben fund meeting this year, don’t think the 2010 lineup at rye house will ever be topped tho! https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/7075/fund-bonanza-house-14th-march
  19. Keynan’s gating has largely been what’s held his progress back in his two years at Foxhall tbh, but back end of season and in playoffs it has markedly improved for sure, keep that up and he’ll be looking for some big scalps this year
  20. Even if it’s a one sided pasting it’s in poole’s interest financially I’d imagine to run it, will get a big home gate for the visit of the holders and woffy
  21. I’ve thought Brady has been the best away rider to visit Ipswich for a few seasons now, he’s a good bit better round Foxhall than the likes of fricke/jack holder. Woffiden was pretty impressive on his first return in 15 years or so I must say too. in terms of riding at Ipswich tho? Wouldn’t swap Emil or Doyle for anyone
  22. Vuolas great entertainment, decent reserve with some improvement in him, zischke will be in the Grand Prix by his mid twenties
