  1. I’m the interim period since he last rode Foxhall what experience has he garnered on smaller tight grippy tracks?? If he’s anything like the showing when he was a visiting rider in the championship let alone prem he won’t score close to 5 points. he’s like his counterpart bellego who rode for us and couldn’t get to grips with Foxhall - fast on big wide open continental tracks but not small technical ones, so no thanks from me
  2. Word on the street has been that due to an increase in greyhound racing at Perry Barr brim were only going to be able to run speedway on Mondays next year so their incentive is the top league protected nights are Mondays and thursdays. in oxfords case didn’t they want to go straight into the top league when they returned and there’s some rule about having to start in the lower league first and prove viability of a new team at a lower running cost or something
  3. He’s toilet at Foxhall tho where you rode half your meetings, only go to nss a couple of times a season he won’t be good really anywhere else
  4. Is there? Dunno how the grading for assessment works but both rew and wojdylo for example came in a 5.00 not 4.00 last year, so did Emil bruem didn’t he? What level of euro kid comes in on a 4 nowadays? Genuine question cos I don’t know
  5. Leon flint or Jordan Jenkins maybe a shout, or Jason edwards he did well last year in a couple of meetings anders rowe another option another route would be wojdylo/z cook at 4 and that frees up enough for riss or someone else in the 4.8 range at 2 and pushes rew to 6
  6. I think it would be a risk tbh. Not been on the bike the entire season after really bad injuries think if I was Louis I’d see how he settled back into racing in the champ/ndl befoe bringing him back into the food in prem
  7. I think Danyon showed in the playoffs that his current level is his ceiling, he can’t ride any faster he falls off, lovely lad and a half decent no.7/second string in champ but for me I’d like to see two younger lads with more scope to improve their averages as the season goes on.
  8. Would rather a younger rider to replace riss with a greater potential upside - agree riss body language just didn’t look at all the same on bike post illness, not convinced he’s on a false low average I think the mistakes Danyon showed in the playoffs confirmed that he’s kinda reached his level now, he’s a lovely lad and gives it everything but we need a number 6 alongside Dan Thompson who can improve and I just think Danyon is the rider he’s going to be.
  9. Why would it be silly?? We nearly won both the league and cup this season and the tail was woeful at times. This seasons team average is so close to the team building from this season if its similar it’s more than doable emil wojdylo King rew doyle dan t edwards rew really found his feet at the back end of the season should push on somewhat next year and someone like wojdylo has huge upside potential on a 5 point assessed average. It proved towards the end of year the top two and king score enough there’s not too much pressure on the second strings and reserves to score big which with less pressure they all started picking up points.
  10. Fairplay to Sheffield rode hard in tough conditions, track got better again late meeting when the rain eased. witches can hold their heads high, battles all year and lost the grand final by 4 points with the same side they started with.
  11. Of course it has to do with the track, the tracks soaking wet, there’s a reason we have rains offs in speedway
  12. One crash on Tuesday…caused by a lock up in first bend - which can happen if a rider makes a mistake on any condition track.
  13. And there’s your answer - because it’s fuc7ing dangerous riding on this track in these conditions absolute joke of a final
  14. Racing in this rain is a joke, why move Monday if you’re just gonna ride in pouring rain Thursday anyway haha what a spectacle for Sheffield fans, Ipswich fans and neutrals
  15. Especially when Adam Ellis who he came in for is a very good at ippo. Obviously they didnt know when they made the changes they’d have us in both finals but gotta say Ellis and Kerr would’ve outscored holder and the two guests in the two Foxhall legs by probably 10 points
  16. In fairness Hawkins concedes in his match report that the track was very tough last night - due to the bad weather Monday night track prep yesterday was very difficult. Louis said on the mic last night wasn’t his choice for the fixture to be moved to so any notion Ipswich doctored the track doesn’t hold weight, they’ve done the best they can in the situation that presented itself due to the weather conditions. As for lambert moaning, yep Hume should’ve been out, but in heat 1 he shouldn’t be moaning Emil was allowed back in after getting a huge shove from howarth and getting locked to lambert, frankly I think there’s probably only a handful of riders in the world in that moment that could’ve done what Emil did to avoid a huge huge crash, Robert lucky he wasn’t sat up in the diner yet he’s moaning Emil got back in the race?? also I liked Hawkins comment in his report that 13 out of 14 riders made the best of it and got stuck in and attacked the track in tough conditions…dunno who he was referring to? Any guesses hahahah weather was fine here the last couple of weeks btw and it’s wasn’t our meetings that hadn’t been fit in in time for the playoffs to be staged on the original dates. disappointed it’s not a bigger lead with Danyon throwing away points in several races but if you’d have offered any Ipswich fan an 18 point lead going into the second I’m sure we’d have all bitten your hand off for that.
  17. I hope you’re bringing your bottle of good jus jus and not the bad luck bottle haha
  18. Yeah as I say fits atm but depends on final season figures that may well increase. It currently fits with the 2.5 reductions, personally tho I think moving on from Erik to a younger up and comer on 5 average gives the team more scope for average improvement and upside.
  19. It’s common sense that if you can’t use guests from another team in the playoffs then once you’ve guested for team in the playoffs you can’t then guest bud or another. Similarly it would make sense for this to supersede the 8 day rule meaning Lawson could ride for Sheffield in both the semi and final for example.
  20. Ben’s the better rider right now but think Zach’s style and balance on the bike he has a higher ceiling career wise. A point less average wise too so a better fit for team building and went better than Ben at Foxhall this year. Our current team average isn’t much above 39, if that’s the same building limit next season will likely be a very similar looking side with just a couple of changes 1. Emil 2. z.cook/wojdylo/another new 5.00 3. King 4. Rew 5. Doyle 6. Hume/Dan T 7. Dan T/Joe T/Boughen/another
