  1. Or people did criticise the German gp track but it’s not the Poole track so it hasn’t got a swarm of angry Poole fans who will vehemently defend anything to do with Poole irrespective of the rationality of said criticism or heaps of evidence just because
  2. If Hawkins wasn’t giving all the boys all their rides and utilised Allen and tac sub, I think Harris was getting by klindt anyway he’d lined him up and was faster, could say you got lucky in 15 with niels falling and being excluded when leading. im not saying I thought witches were better and deserved to win but some subtle things going a bit different and it easily could’ve been 49-41 or 48-42 which I think would’ve been a fairer reflection, Poole always looking like the winners but witches keeping it close ish
  3. Heeps shouldn’t have been excluded couple of races pulled back when riders had only punished themselves so no need as shovlar says king then got away with a roller don’t think niels would’ve fallen in ht15 if grajzczonek hadn’t have slammed into him - admittedly it was a tough call more a racing incident than one rider blatantly knocking another off but I feel it was the contact from josh which did enough for Niels to fall
  4. Score line flattered Poole imo, was a much closer meeting than the score line suggest although that said I feel Poole were always going to win. Track was poor throughout. Ref decisions were poor throughout. expect that to be the worst we’ll see Niels from the tapes for the season, he’ll be sharper in the playoffs I’d have thought. heeps is great at Foxhall, needs to be doing better away in playoffs if we’re to stand a chance
  5. Tbh in reference to the tactical while in agreement Hawkins regularly fluffs the use of tac sub. He did make a point of saying in meeting preview the result of tonight’s meeting doesn’t have any affect for us but it’s a good chance to get some extra practise and test some things during the meeting so perhaps it’s agreed everyone getting all 4 rides tonight as we may we’ll be back here next week in playoffs
  6. Nice blue groove to go with the bumps now too
  7. Just because it was good the other day, that doesn’t bare any reflection on the track tonight does it. Riders are bouncing into the corners and in that last race jack holder looked exceptionally tentative
  8. Let em win 50-40 tonight so they win the league pick us and then return in a couple of weeks and win 46-44 the underdog tag will suit our boys no end, just like early season! Still a big ask but I think people are silly to be completely writing us off in the playoffs, you never know what might happen!
  9. Nick Morris rolling average is 5.32.....whats not attractive about that!?
  10. They’re over two weeks - Monday & Thursday each week, all 4 meetings are on bt. The home leg at Foxhall is 26/9 Thursday.
  11. Agree however they tried that the other year with the one rider over 8pt average, can’t remember all the splits but one example is wolves had to choose between Lindgren and thorsell, they chose thorsell, did Freddie then sign elsewhere? Nope just dropped uk and hasn’t been back
  12. Even if 3 teams were to leap at the chance to come up, where are the riders going to come from? Neither Ipswich or peterborough have had a true no.1 this season - is adding 3 teams all of a sudden going to attract 6/7 top riders back here to strengthen the league up!? Not like btsport would be chucking loads of extra cash in the hat to help them go and entice these riders is it unless they want to see a 10 team league made up of 5 man teams??
  13. So of the 4 dates proposed dates for the semi finals Thursday 26th is only one I can’t make because of work and that’s to be our home leg whoever we’re facing gutted! Watching on my phone in the pub or restaurant it is then
  14. Certainly didn’t put up much fight when bomber passed him early in the meeting - tbh he seemed caught unawares to me tho as he was looking for Ellis on the outside on lap 1 looked again second bend lap 2 and bomber was sailing by! but later when Allen and king teamed up for a 5-1 over him you can’t say he wasn’t trying everything it that race! He was all over them, all over the track trying every which line he could!
  15. Have said the same to my dad watching him at Ipswich - superb around Foxhall and getter better every visit! Would love to see him ride for the witches! wolves have got a gem there, hope he has the right people guiding him could reach the top imo
  16. For me I’d want to 100% stay in the top league. The standard of racing far better and the gulf in class between the top of teams and reserves makes for much better entertainment and close racing imo in premiership than championship. Foxhall is a tricky track with the grip and how tight you turn - not conducive to 2.00 national league wobblers imo, whereas is the likes of say a James sarjeant pops out a heat leader could conceivably race closely and team ride with him at this level with his skill set. id like to see a few more riders back next season, if for example Niels and or maybe zagar could be tempted, Chris holder has expressed a desire to ride here again next season that should make for a more even spread of top boys for everyone. we should have the whole winter for team building rather than be on the back foot making a late decision to change leagues so hopefully be able to grab some better top end firepower! would like to see Heeps, Allen and KP back from this years team. Niels would be fantastic too and then see, Poole and Swindon aren’t going to be able to keep all of their top end strength especially if holder senior is on the way back to Poole so should be a bit of a move around the league and riders available. all if buts and maybes I know but regardless I enjoy watching better riders personally. I also think we have to include drew kemp at 7 next season which will allow for more points at the top of building
  17. I I mean I make it 39..... presumably the 7 for Heeps r/r will be scored by the 6 riders present at the meeting and therefore come from their totals?
  18. Lol I was being sarcastic, apologies if that didn’t come across
  19. Apologies for thinking that when you quoted a post referring to thj and said nki was basically the same, I thought you were comparing them
  20. Agree, and incidentally Ljung is older than both Lindgren and Lindbäck, and hasn’t been as successful as an individual in gps etc.
  21. Lol nki qualifies for next years gp series again at the weekend, rode as a heatleader in Poland and Swedish top leagues all season, thj scores chuff all at reserve in Sweden all season and has just signed for Berwick but yeah their careers have taken the same path
