  1. Probably because it favoured those teams with a big home advantage like Exeter where many riders hated going.
  2. Sadly only rain in Lublin has postponed Mondays meeting. So the ludicrous ruling is still in existence. Great to have Kenneth in tomorrow
  3. 5 guests , one r/r and Danny Ayres Cradley fans should have stayed way in protest. What a mess we have got in to. Fixed nights are a must next year in order to stop all of these clashes
  4. You will be disappointed that Lakeside want to back in the top league then
  5. Firstly credit to the quality of the track.... doubt if any other British track would have taken such a battering re rain and within half an hour be ready to start racing. Secondly, a big-plaudit for the riders who came out and gave it their all... they were all a credit to the sport.
  6. Aussies and Kiwis have been riding in Britain since 1928 and long may it last. Holder is lashing out regards the consequences of his actions. Doyle has already stated he will ride if there is a fixed night .
  7. Very impressed with drew kemp at the BYC at Belle Vue last month
  8. With a fully fir Fricke and Beley ,I would give us a good chance of getting to the Final. Otherwise. It will be a difficult but not impossible task
  9. Very disappointing performance from Rye House... expected a much tougher match. Well done Jack Smith ... keep it up
  10. That looks like a wish list rather than a realistic set of signings for next year.
  11. Gorzow shows yet again what a great track it is. Good result for Tai and Jason Doyle is now in the driving seat even though the lead is small. Craig Cook is now in an even better position... 33 points between Dudek and the 9th place. Overall a very good night
  12. Well done Robert EU U21 Champion with 14 points Two titles for Britain augurs well for the future. Good experience for Dan.... plenty of time for Dan to develop...only his second season
  13. There are 28 riders in the top league who are doubling with another team. If it is scrapped where are the riders coming from to fill those gaps ?..... Fixed nights is the way forward so there are no clashes This is being considered by the BSPA but whether it happens is another story. Personally fixed nights is the way forward...possibly 2 for the top tier and two for the second tier. It may be possible to have one fixed night for the top tier if the logistics work out.
  14. Deserved win for Leicester. Belle Vue were exposed at reserve without Dan..... We needed good scores from all of our top 4 and it did not happen. Leicester were on fire at the starting gate and produced some great team riding to hold the Aces back.
  15. Belle Vue exposed at reserve but should still have enough to win. Whatever happens , nice to have a good weather forecast and we will no doubt have good racing as always.
  16. Getting close to the end of the season and no news announced. The only positive is the Council still insist that the old stadium cannot be demolished until the new one is built. Even so it would be good to have an update from above.
  17. Only two Somerset riders tonight is a complete joke.... not Somerst's fault but creates a farce of a meeting.
  18. In the distant past when they have had so called promotion/relegation then there was an option to refuse to go up even if their team won the promotion/relegation battle. Is the result confirming where these teams will ride or is there still an opt out clause ?
  19. Just a quick note to say that the Colts v Plymouth match recently was the most entertaining home Colts match so far. Ignore the score... excellent racing from both sides and a feast of good racing. I have not seen Adam Roynon ride so well for a long time... he obviously liked the track as do most riders. Hope Plymouth continue for a long tim to come.
  20. The rules re non availability are very fluid in the NL.... many reasons can be used... unable to get time of work plus others JACK Smith has just completed 6 meetings in 6 days Then Birmingham wed Belle Vue Friday Glasgow sat Newcastle sunday Poole wolves and Cradley on Monday Same for Dan Hence the decision to find guests for Jack and Dan at the IOW saving a long journey and meeting.AND GIVING SOME RESPITE Matt Williamson and Danny Ayres are equivalent replacements and there is no real depletion in strength or expectation of a good meeting.
  21. An entertaining meeting but fell well short of the quality of racing that I normally see at Scunthorpe. I would think Rob will be glad to see that his season over and plan for 2018.....injury riddled season has ruined the season for Scunthorpe.
  22. This is David v Goliath. Lynn will be beaten easily
  23. Well done Craig. 11 points after a first race duck shows great courage and determination Dudek is 25 points ahead of 9th place in SGP so augurs well for next year re Craig. There will be a massive cheer onceit is mathematically certain
  24. Poland Sunday. Sweden Tuesday Monday is a no no for top league British Speedway... getting a top rider to agree to Sun mon tues for home matches is almost impossible
