On one hand the bspa muppets want more clubs in the top leagues, but want a bounty of around £40000 for said club to enter the league !!

Tuesday 13th Sept - Plymouth v Poole - PO SF 1st Leg

Heard he's good at that -
Yea but if the cut was 31 August whatever, the fixtures would have to be completed to gain a league position, then you have all of September to run play offs and final in last week of September, but bspa or whatever they are called can't see it is getting worse every year, no wonder the sport is on its last legs
-
Same happens every year, but just seems to get worse every year. It's about time a cut off point meant a cut off point. Only 10 teams in league 9 home matches plus Cup to fit in over 5 months and it still fails. In 2018 when Workington won the lot we were still trying to run a cup and league double header on the 32st October
-
In 2018 when the comets won the treble, mid season attendances fell to around 500 well below break even level as the cup finals got near attendances get better near to break even levels, then at the very end of season had crowds of around 1500 to see the trophies lifted, but could/should have been more, forced to run late October often with only a few days notice so very little promotion get done, we all know what happened then the comets closed. Fast forward to 2022 matched getting postponed right left and centre KO cup still to run many matches, can see it being a dash to complete the season now autumn is well on its way, speedway will never learn and get most of the matches completed by the end of September

Get a little bit of your point jenga, but just imagine how much rent would come into northside for another track to run speedway!! At no cost to northside -
Period of mourning. No sport activities.

Imo sad though it is of the queen's passing, very few speedway fans will have no personal connection, so the sport should have continued, have 1/2 minutes silence play the new national anthem you would probably find it was observed with dignity and sang with gusto, and people would have a focus to meet fellow supporters in these sad times, looks now the season may miss 2 weeks just when final places are decided, now the weather is about to turn, the season may struggle to complete, yes no meetings next Monday but that goes without saying -
Sorry did not know that hope he is OK

Get Martin Dixon out of retirement had a good bunch of musicians back in the day

If they can build temporary tracks at Cardiff/Warsaw surely one could be constructed at Bradford at probably a third of the cost of Cardiff, plus 15- 20000 capacity at Bradford think it would be cost effective, plus on a personal view I can travel in the day from Cumbria

Got to agree sad times but life goes on, if speedway or any other sport was to go ahead this weekend I'd imagine that the 1-2 minutes silence would be followed, then the 'new' national anthem would be sung with gusto, and it would be a meeting of friends at this sad time, rather than being stuck with nothing to do as the news just gets on top of you at sometimes. RIP ma'am -
Rename it the Xmas trophy run on Xmas eve boxing day and Sunday between!! As due to the queen's sad passing 2 weeks of speedway lost and all other finals/play offs still to run, lots of proper bad weather due in the next few weeks, maybe BSPA or whatever they are called these days, will want the season not yo complete as they get a £3000 fine for in complete fixtures as happened in 2018 to the treble winning comets H18tory

Premier inns sold out in Cardiff, maybe a good job I'm booked to go to Greece that weekend, looks like it's a trip to Poland for half the price of Cardiff
-
Looks like the stadium X is heading for a near sell out not many areas left to buy , priced from £31 to £200 for hospitality
-
The podcast is well worth a listen Dan comes across very well and has high praise for the new Northside track and what Steve Lawson has done to help him get to where he is now, IMO Dan is a future world champion

Not sure that's correct Warsaw GP weekend holiday Inn 4* with breakfast 3 nites £145 premier Inn Cardiff room only £335 3 nites, far cheaper to go to Poland, but better craic in Cardiff . Unfortunately due to holiday commitment next September Cardiff a no go. So looks like another trip abroad for a GP
