He gave a good account of himself in his 1st appearance at worky in the Ben fund meeting, but on a 5 average could be a gamble especially if at No 2
-
For me as a worky fan, very similar to Plymouth A good season is watching entertaining racing with the majority of home wins, if we get beat by a better team so be it 😄 Then if our team survives and runs the following season that is a success and hopefully the guys that run the speedway have broken even
-
Yea when it's announced I'll post it on here for you to see, what about the ex worky Poole signing Frazer Bowes for a start, tapped up prior to the season end,
-
Because we don't want to talk about a Poole team 🤪 and if Poole are in the championship it concerns them unless your too entitled to think that 🙃
-
Been various talks for weeks/months via zoom/teams and in person. So in theory just a vote at AGM for next season, and to close the books on this season. Just like any other AGM of a pub club/ team
-
All new rules are allegedly agreed before the AGM, then voted on at the AGM, so it's only a case of hands up, can't be that difficult 😜
-
The AGM has nearly always been a jolly, if you believe the talk that most clubs are struggling financially, why do they most years, agree to go to foreign places costing many hundreds/ thousands of £ss ? This is not the 1st time it's been held in rugby, doing this at most a night in the local Travelodge is the cost
-
Best get some planted now, then come spring Northside will be blooming 😁
-
A lot of most royal mail depots only deliver mail on certain days of the week and not at weekends, unless it's a parcel, so may explain a slight delay to the star delivery

Ex-Berwick rider Andreas Bergstrom

Many years ago I was lying by the pool in Tenerife reading the speedway star, this bloke came up saying so your a speedway fan, looking up I recognised the guy as Alan Ham former promoter at Bradford speedway, spent a couple of hours putting the speedway world to rights, he couldn't believe that as a Workington fan a group of us used to go to Bradford every week for our speedway fix, at the time Workington had no speedway late 80's- 1 reply

If you weaken the product with only 1 rider over 8 points, as the season goes on the riders on say 7 point average have less 8 point riders to come up against, then there average goes up, by the end of the season you have more riders over 8 points, then what are you going to do to move forward ?
-
As you know there's been several meetings to agree to whatever the rules are for 2026, the AGM is where these decisions are officially voted on and passed, but I believe in the past things have changed when the vote was counted and they had to go down another route
-
@lewy worky is a long way from airports, but within 2 and a half hours most northern airports can be reached, but whether they fly to the right airports in Poland at the right time, that's another thing, Bowes missed several meetings to be in Poland . But if certain riders have not been paid in Poland they are maybe thinking twice about going back
-
Seen a bit from Poland that klindt is among many who has not agreed a deal to go back to Poland
-
Glasgow won't move up as they will miss out riding against Edinburgh a dozen times 😄
-
Trying to agree on a venue for the AGM Morecambe or Blackpool was suggested mid point between Glasgow and Plymouth but southern teams have want somewhere more exotic
-
Would be a good signing IF he is available for all/most of the meetings, but as @lewy knows he went AWOL a lot this year for Plymouth
-
Palm tree maybe on a false average but not the rider he was, think Paul starke at Poole should have helped them win but failed again. Jordy Scott should be a shoe in but Oxford or £££s will be where he ends up
