Well take 3 for this meeting on Sunday, but unfortunately looking at the weather predictions a named storm could be due on Sunday 😗 so another call off more than possible. unfortunately, all this nice summer weather with fixture gaps, now the last meeting, looks like it does not want to take place

8 home league meetings to fit in between April/may and end of August leaves September free for semi finals and finals. Sounds easy but speedway yet again makes this simple formula difficult. Happens every year, speedway never learns

Way it's going with all the semi finals still to complete, and the finals still to be decided could be a struggle to get them completed especially if the weather stays unsettled

If your a true speedway fan, you follow the team on the terraces home AND away 😄 fair plat to the dedicated/stupid pilots fans doing the journey. Done several myself this year as a worky fan

Coming over for this meeting, think it will be close but unfortunately can't see a worky win by 13 to take the bonus point, so our very outside chance of the play offs will end. But I've seen most comets away meetings and apart from Edinburgh, we have taken it to the last heat for either a win or a bonus point, so a good season imo

Just giving other clubs chance of lifting a trophy when they host a 2nd leg at home 🙃

Some heavy showers dotted around locally, but the main problem would be the very gusty winds , Northside is very exposed and the direction the wind was coming, would be blowing from turn 3/4 right down the center green to turn 1/2 reported gusts mid afternoon at 45 mph, average 25 mph this would not be good for the riders or the fans. Dammed if you do dammed if you don't

Imo 2 home 2 away looks good but clubs won't want it, as most losing money, bar a couple of meetings, so if 2 home 2 away, that's more money lost, if 1 home 1 away means less potential loses, and sponsorship could make up the small difference, sometimes less is more, should be home 1 week away the other week, 2/3 meetings at home a month from may to August
