  1. why Geoff ?, the points limit was set for 3 years at last seasons AGM.
  2. Shame Jacob hasn't as yet secured a UK team place but Speedway is a dynamic sport injuries and all so something may yet transpire throughout the season. The continued reduction in teams doesn't help either. Really need a few more tracks but that is another story. Would like to see Comets have an NDL team this coming season if affordable, also more taster sessions for youngsters wanting to try out the sport, but this is a big commitment time wise and financially and there is little help with costs for any such initiatives.
  3. May have nothing to do with the team structure that statement though. Depends whether you class the signing of Cookie as exciting news ? Probably divide opinion that one.
  4. I looked at this after the possibility of him being a possible signing was first mooted on here, appeared to be no clashes with good fixture planning.
  5. Probably , i mean the 8% a year must mean a convenient average reduction for someone he wants to fit in.
  6. Apparently standard rounding conventions dictate that a digit is only rounded up if the subsequent digit is 5 or greater. in this case the 4th decimal place is 0 so the preceding digit ie the 3rd decimal place 5 remains the same.
  7. So much for the point of view that it is already pre decided in teams meetings and just needs rubber stamping 😂
  8. Not totally sure but I think 3 decimal places are only used for hierarchial order of riders within a team .
  9. Certified fuel on sale at the track and tyre inspections pre meeting.
  10. This just reinforces the need for change to the cost structure of the sport. For example why should promoters be liable for supplying riders tyres fuel and oil ? . Such things are hard to understand bearing in mind the attendances at many tracks.
  11. No it isn't and I'm sure this is a factor. With one league there would be enough fixtures to keep fans happy as well as riders who do not regularly have a Premiership/Championship club. It will also be a lower financial burden for promoters than 2H2A.
  12. Simon Lambert on podcast Speedway 360 stated that in his opinion ChampIonship should be 2H2A.
  13. The BSPL do not appear to consider the views of fans and this is a contributing factor for the current failing state of British Speedway and why the people in charge have largely been a catalyst in it's continued decline and it is still going on.
  14. Went a bit too wide in his 3rd ride without generating the speed to get around. Hooky is doing okay again. Tate should really be top 7 in this field in my opinion, anything less is disappointing.
  15. Not the way Tate would want to start the Aussie Champs. Preparation is everything. See how he goes today. Poor first 2 rides.
  16. Your just a boy Neil 😃. 94 is a good age, still plenty more meetings to enjoy if we are lucky enough to live that long 🤞👍. As long as Speedway is still going of course.
  17. 2nd option less likely if aiming for a strong top 5.
  18. If Rob wants Ablitt i'm sure an appropriate average reduction will have been applied for with him not riding last season.
  19. As far as I know Steve Worrall has a business and a young family. Maybe more a case of priorities and loss of desire.
  20. Lambert did say on Speedway 360 that he had a club for next season but didn't say which league. if it is a Championship club the he will be back at Scunny simply by a process of elimination.
