  1. You are absolutely right it is a disgrace. It looks awfully like being asleep at the wheel. Treating the fans like mushrooms without even feeding them s**t is worse. Carl Johnson on Speedway 360 stated that Peterborough have been approached by the BSPL about coming back next season. He did state that they are not in a position both track wise and financially to do this but still didn't rule it out completely. Hadn't time to watch the full podcast so don't know how the discussion finished. The planning permission for developing the Showground got turned down, it would be great to see the club return but just how feasible is this ?.
  2. He's got that pension lump sum safely tucked away and he probably has to get any spending authorised by his Mrs 😃
  3. Good team but Kyle surely back at Glasgow
  4. Rob Godfrey has insider information and by all accounts is the major vocal influencer. Doesn't mean they will definitely get a deal with an investor to run a team out of Oxford. He probably has a team signed up on the premise that if 2 leagues doesn't materialise he may have to rethink it.
  5. Maybe they are buying time to try to get a 6th team finalised, can't really think of anything else. This suggests there is a team or teams not willing to compete in a 5 team Prem.
  6. Yes but, if the Premiership is deemed unviable because certain club or clubs do not wish to compete in what could still only be a 5 team league then maybe changes to conversion factors may well be reconsidered.
  7. Yes and the silence from the BSPL is deafening.
  8. Dead right its very poor indeed and shows them in a very poor light for a governing body.
  9. Its a joke, some saying today some January?. I thought it was today in Rugby for 1 day only.
  10. I know 2 of those are not supposed to be coming to Worky and I would gamble and say all 3 won't be.
  11. Not quite off my rocker but if your going to say that then please let me hear your counter argument.
  12. I agree with this. He had an article in the Speedway Star saying he would like another blast in the UK.
  13. You obviously like Jonatan Grahn. He certainly appeared well suited to Northside going by his performances against us last season .He came in on an assessed 5.00 and finished on 5.30. He dropped to reserve which seen him score better generally. Would make a solid No2. I would think the Monarchs will be wanting to keep hold of him. When you say Worky would benefit from having a Kyle Howarth figure who gives you a solid performance at every track, we have one Batch, he just didn't replicate the home form he showed in 2024 this season but away apart from his first meeting at Scunny he was generally very good away from home. We just need a good No1 to partner him. I like racers so Tate on his average has to be back with better equipment and an even more professional attitude. Riders worth consideration imo from last season are Kye Thompson (5.93) and Lasse Fredriksen. (5.49).
  14. He is a good rider but I would be surprised if he turned out to be the leagues top rider. Hasn't really pulled up any trees at Northside so far.
  15. yeah he usually scores very well at Armadale
  16. Luke has chosen Scunny over Worky before, as one of the brightest British prospects I'm sure they will do all they can to keep him at the EWR.
  17. Berwick must be a good bet, goes well at Shielfield.
  18. Yeah Hooky done well at reserve and a good team man but there are question marks about further improvement if in the main body I feel. Agree about Tate who unfortunately has suffered concussion in Oz. Vinnie is a young lad who seems really keen to improve and is a racer. On good machinery I believe he is worthy of a team place next season
  19. At least two of your looking at riders are strongly rumoured to have signed elsewhere.
  20. Wouldn't read anything into that Geoff.
