Who'd have guessed that one!! Always loved watching Lee, brilliant entertainer, one of the best riders I've ever watched at this level of British speedway. Just hope it hasn't been too long for him and he can get plenty of practise in before the season starts. It's a very James Wright sounding signing. I can't wait to watch Lee again Only thing that worries me is that he was never a very good gater!! And Brough is a very specific track to be able to pass on, but he did used to have some big balls... What will his average be?
-
Dont let the Poles hear about this!!
-
That's what I was thinking too. But then they riding in 3 leagues technically. So can everyone do that now?
-
Have to agree with the above... NO THANKS... Ty Proctor and Josh Bates. NO THANKS.

Is a number 8 in the PL allowed to do the CL and NL? That's the question...
-
Pavlova anyone?
-
What we need to figure out is exactly how many points we have left to play with... I've seen 6.51 mentioned in the past, but does that take into account the Eastbourne fixtures being taken out?
-
Would be great to see him back on a bike. But I imagine that's long gone now? Would be an interesting number 2. Ellis Perks is another who would be cool to see come back, I know there was whispers of it last year and he would fit...
-
I would love to see it too... but camt see it. So what other options are there??? Decent ones. I feel we're gonna be 2 or 3 points under the limit again unless there's a name we're missing? Cant think who though...
-
Sighhh
-
Just trying to think of names that would fit rather than suggesting names who are clearly 2 or 3 points too high like what normally happens... got any ideas?
-
I know. Rene is one of my all time favourites. But his average is too high and he's riding in Poland next year. So I'm trying to think of riders who will fit. The return of Grizzly maybe?
-
Wonder whether Jonas B Andersen still rides/what his average is...?
-
Jason Edwards and Luke Muff it is... Wonder where Sam Hagon will end up? Plymouth? Iwade?

I am aware of that. But we had him last season, which is why I'm gutted we didn't resign him. One of the few highlights of the whole season was watching Connor. Brilliant racer -

How would an even poorer scunthorpe team than last year beat a much stronger newcastle team than last year when they couldnt even manage it last year? -

Does Nathan Stoneman still ride? Thought he was going to be a decent rider at one point, but seemed to disappear... He rode for Oxford a few times in that last couple of years, which is why I ask -

Wonder if a Josh MacDonald/Dillon Ruml and Jake Mulford/Nathan Ablitt combination would fit as the reserves. 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Jack Thomas 3. Kyle Newman 4. Cameron Heeps 5. Scott Nicholls 6. Josh MacDonald/Dillon Ruml 7. Jake Mulford/Nathan Ablitt Not a bad team tbf, but I don't see them winning much either -

Connor Mountain was brilliant for us up at Newcastle and I was gutted when he didn't sign for us. He held his own as a third heatleader when really, he shouldn't have been in that position to start with. I am really jealous that yous have signed him. Connor will easily hold his own at number 4 imo. Or even number 3 1. Nick Morris 2. Dan Thompson 3. Connor Mountain 4. Kyle Howarth 5. Richie Worrall 6. Joe Thompson 7. Anders Rowe WHAT A TEAM!! Always gonna have one amazing reserve (two tbh if Joe kicks on also) and 3 brilliant heatleaders. I would put Kyle at 4 to strengthen heat 14, so there's a strong end to the meeting. And as I say, Connor should hold his own at number 3 imo -
THJ, please don't let the fools on this forum annoy you. You done wonders for our club in the many years you were involved and for that, 99% of us are eternally grateful, I am gutted that you are not as involved now but you have moved on. And I want to wish you all the very best in whatever you have lined up over in Cumbria. It's our loss and their gain. Cheers, don't make yourself a strange on here or at Brough Park, please?

1 Nathan Ablitt 6.77 2 Jack Smith 6.50 3 Harry McGurk 6.61 4 Sam McGurk 5.92 5 Jack Parkinson Blackburn 6.15 6 Archie Freeman 3.00 7 Freddie Hodder 3.00 37.95 2.05 Seems like Belle Vue built to a 38 point limit? Wonder if they knew the rules before handing out all their promises of contracts? Or if I've got the averages wrong? Either way, they could have had Paul Bowen rather than Freddy Hodder at reserve? Seems a strange choice not to go for the Pieman. Seems a fans favourite there too, and would had added that little bit of experience to a very inexperienced team... I only say this because the last time I saw Freddy ride, it seemed like the NL was gonna be a BIG step up for him... It's almost like he needs a season in a MDL type league first... Very brave

This will only be Archie's second full season on a 500? To say it's 'time for him to deliver' when he did very well for his first season in 2021 is a bit harsh?
