  1. Redcar away at Scunthorpe on Friday as well, but would play offs overrule KOC?
  2. Never to early , go with Douggie, MPT & Luke Harrison for starters.
  3. My opinion only but I hope Kyle Howarth & Justin Sedgmen have failed their auditions to be a Bear in 2024. I know guests are hard at the moment but these two have been woeful for us. I know we need 2 guests today (3 if you include Luke) but surely we would be better running R/R on Wednesday and give the fans the chance to cheer on our own riders, & give them extra rides ready for the KOC. I know I am on the outside looking in & don’t know the ins & outs of running the team etc, just a fans opinion.
  4. Don’t forget we will be missing Luke Harrison as well. He is only a guest reserve so NDLRC takes priority.
  5. And Luke Harrison missing for Redcar as well. Been a regular guest but not signed so NDL takes priority
  6. There must be some BSPL pressure to get this meeting done as I can’t believe anyone would agree to this fixture with all the above riders missing. Feel sorry for the Oxford fans paying to watch this.
  7. We always laugh as Redcar fans that we can get home earlier from an away match at Scunthorpe than we can a home one at Redcar. They certainly rattle through a meeting.
  8. Would the riders be available for Saturday? Redcar have Erik Riss in the Longtrack of Nations on Sunday& possibly Connor Bailey in Poland on Sunday. Would Chris Harris be in the Longtrack as well? Held at Roden.
  9. Could have done a double header, imagine the tension/jeopardy that night would bring.
  10. But don’t forget that Poole picked Scunthorpe before Charles Wright got injured. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, Redcar had ran Poole close in a couple of matches over the last season or two.
  11. Only one way to sort it Berry9. When he rides at Redcar next, ask for a selfie with him & a Ukrainian flag. Will certainly get your answer then.
  12. I see Connor Bailey now replaces Charles Wright in Wrocław team. Apparently misses NDLRC NOW
  13. Berry 9, you’d better be careful if you see anyone walking towards/behind you with a suitcase, probably contains the signature of a Russian who takes a few out, Novo Check, or something like that is his name
  14. Could we use use Keynan Rew. He was under consideration for the Poole away match I think.
  15. Apparently Howarth could only ride in our home meetings with the 5%average increase, he is to high to use in away matches.
  16. That’s what I thought, just wondering if anyone knows BSN standing on the playoffs then?
  17. I thought BSN intended to show all play off matches? If so Poole & Oxford wouldn’t be able to race on the 13th Sept unless BSN are doing a double camera/ meeting.
  18. So what about the CLRC that was raced on a Sunday, Masters, Basso, Pickering & S Worrall all were pulled out by their Polish clubs/ fixture list and that was a BSPL EVENT.
  19. It’s amazing how people can “hide” mental problems and make them appear normal, probably not the right word , Craig Cook has been to Redcar twice in August and done terrible compared to how he usuall goes. Obviously something is wrong when he gets on the track, but if you go onto Redcar Bears YouTube account and watch Boxballen1, it gives a totally different outlook to the person.
  20. Jack Holders was the 4TT Final at Peterborough. Think Ged Rathbonr at the time allegedly took a £20k payment to release Jack from the fours to ride in Poland. Also who is missing for Glasgow & why?
  21. It doesn’t say, but can only be Basso or Harris. It was put on TikTok and one of my boys showed me it.
  22. All fans please be aware that the A66 east bound is closed at Cannon Park heading towards Middlesbrough Centre at the weekend. I presume diversions will be in place. Also Middlesbrough Mela festival is taking place in the town centre this weekend. And finally don’t forget that the Great North Run is taking place in Newcastle on Sunday for anybody coming that way.
  23. You would think after last nights “ non negative” tests last night that the SCB,ACU,BSPL would arrange for a mandatory drug test at all meetings in the near future. All riders programmed to ride to be tested, and any who “ break down, have a bad back” etc on the same day must do a test at the earliest opportunity. This has got to be rooted out sooner rather than later. Maybe when licences are applied for next year a mandatory drug test to be taken before licence is issued. Just a thought
