Kyle Newman has been diagnosed with a broken shoulder apparently, which he told Redcar rules him out of the start of the season unfortunately ( Jamie Swales on Saturdays team reveal ).

My biggest worry about James Shane’s is his own confession that he wasn’t fully fit and was going to give 2023 a miss on the speedway to get his body right again. Think it was a Speedway Star report a few weeks back. That could come back to bite both James & Redcar. Hope it’s not a repeat of Adam Roynon last year. Fingers crossed all is good.

Wright, Riss, King, Edwards, Hume, & either Mulford OR Ablitt. Plus ? For whatever’s left ? Kyle Newman maybe? Got to keep Jason at reserve to start with in my opinion.

I think only programmed rides count for averages. No R/R or heat 15 included.

Regardless of the points limit I would definitely have Jason & Jordan back next year. Both have shown good potential and must surely improve again next season. Both had spells in the top 5 and though a touch inconsistent, generally held their own in these positions. Would be good if both could start at reserve again.

Now it’s moved to a “Neutral” track why can’t it be run as a 1 leg shoot out? Rules can be changed easily by the looks of it.

Personally, Not so much who I would like, but who I would not like to see in the Redcar jacket: B Barker, C Cook, J Wright, M Clegg, A Roynon, A Summers, J Sedgman, P Starke to name a few. They, in my opinion, all come with either some form of baggage, are unreliable, injury prone or just can’t ride the Ecco Arena. Might all be nice people & good riders, just not for me.

The way people on the forums/ rumours are speculating we will have 2&5 out of the above list and none of the rest of last years team.

Are Newcastle meetings still to come off averages? Last year East bournes we’re left on until end of season then removed, I think.

Always thought breakdown/ non arrival was NDL rider only to replace, or does the %age of the average get reduced to use a guest?

Could be putting himself in the shop window for next year. Possibly no Edinburgh, team average reductions rumoured, 6.6 average and riding in a cup final. Nothing to lose for Kye IMO
