  1. Danish fixture I believe, all above board. Jamie Swales mentioned it in the Speedway Star this week
  2. Massive confidence boost for Nicolai ahead of the away match at Oxford šŸ‘. Oh, forgot he’s not riding in that one eitheršŸ™ˆ
  3. Putting 2+2 together & probably getting 5. Have heard other names but after JJ post today & Simons last night, who knows. Need someone for Friday though.
  4. Just waiting for Simon Lambert to be announcedšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  5. Could Redcar re introduce Charles Wright again & keep Nicolai Klindt? Great if they could but doesn’t sit right with me personallyšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø( Redcar Fan)
  6. So like the question I asked earlier, can you sign a second rider over 8 points? Has Rob been stopped from doing this? Or does nobody else want to sign for ScunthorpešŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø.
  7. So on the strengthening subject, I don’t know averages current or start of year, I presume All Teams could only do a like for like or re-declare. So for example using Scunthorpe as the example as we are on their thread, they couldn’t sign anyone over an 8 point average, as that would make 2riders over 8. So in theory all signings must now be 7.99 or under, unless you’re dropping your No1?
  8. And Redcar have already knocked them out of the KOC, but if revenge maybe. Also would be 2 Friday night teams if it was Redcar v Edinburgh.
  9. Could Dan Gilkes replace Shane Bowes though? I know it’s a straight swap for Kyle Newman as it was an injury replacement, but it would need a team re-declaration back to 40 points if Bowes was dropped, I think šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Do Poole have the space, average wise to swap Bowes/Gilkes?
  10. Well it’s a long way back to Glasgow, Cami will have plenty of time to mull those thoughts over.
  11. So with this being a FIM/GB meeting I expect he will be missing on the Friday night due to practice etc as per FIM meetings?
  12. Shame about Charles getting injured last night, but not the first & wont be the last unfortunately to have it happen. Short & long term replacements are going to be hard to find I think. Drew Kemp & Nikolai Klindt spring to mind, or a fresh foreign signing in the hope he comes good very quickly. Oh the joys of promotion/managementšŸ™ˆ
  13. Seeing as the British Final doesn’t count towards the GP this year/is ridden after the GP, then technically Charles Wright should get the spot again as he is still the current ā€œ highestā€ qualifier after the GP riders. I fully expect it will go to Brennan though as they will probably nominate/seed a rider rather than go on the qualification procedure.
  14. As different names are mentioned for the promotion, surely it must be a current/recent person involved as they would probably need to be a VISA sponsor or whatever is needed for foreign ridersšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Just a thought
  15. Totally lost by these repliesšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Obviously it’s been said somewhere but I,like many are unaware of previous news. The Northampton bit I know has been on the go for a while, it’s the ā€œwhoā€ that’s been kept quietšŸ¤”
  16. Will be interesting to find out who the promoter/money man is. Whoever it is has done a cracking secrecy job to keep this all under wraps. Well done šŸ‘
  17. Why use your own money when someone else is offering to fund it, that’s businessšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  18. Think they have to be signed to either a Premiership or a championship club to guest.
  19. And in that statement lies most of today’s problems. The youth know the price of everything & the value of nothing. Old school vision by myself maybe, or is it just a generation thing and they will be saying it in 20+years time šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  20. Without getting a diary out, in 2006 Redcar we’re putting the tracks clay base down in February, so there is plenty of time for Northampton to be ready for early April. I can’t remember how many facilities Redcar had in place around now, but Northampton is definitely more advanced at the moment than Redcar was. Redcar opened on the 4th April ish I think. There is a more documented state of Redcar’s beginning in another Facebook group but I can’t remember the name of the groupšŸ™ˆ
  21. Maybe Mr Godfrey will offer a cheap rent & lease to use Scunthorpe if Northampton can’t run šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. 7 day access etc I do believe. Funnier things have happened šŸ¤”
  22. So Simon Lambert gets all the stick yet a World Champion is named as the second highest average rider. Couldn’t make it up šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚
  23. Maybe team manager contract šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  24. I know the 75% one exists as it affected Redcar last year with Erik Riss. Not sure about the other rule šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø but think if it had been brought in it was to stop the possible re declarations occurring when a situation like Josh Pickering’s average drop comes about. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Where’s all the knowledge when you need it šŸ˜‚
